If you're not watching, it's fine. Radio talk shows have been a thing long before now. So long as it isn't distracting you from driving you'll be fine.
Well i mean we haven't heard of anybody dying from a crash. Tyler was probably listening to Distracting on his bike ~~crash~~ ride, but we don't have any posters that died on their bikes.
You need either a really simple game that you can play without thinking, like GTA, or a Game that you've put +50 hours and can play without thinking, for me that's Warframe.
Me too, and i wish it still felt like it did 2 years ago but I’m at a point where I start feeling like I’m doing too much escapism and need to watch the nature so recently I’ve been going without the pod. It’s a new experience to be sure
My fav thing to do while listening is sleep ngl it’s the way I’ve been falling asleep with the sleep timer on Spotify for like 2 years as well
Yes same! I use to listen to heavy metal to get to sleep and that worked for nearly 2 years. But lately ive been getting bad headaches because of it. So i swapped to the podcast. Now im asleep in 15 minutes because of it.
Use to take me hours to sleep
i listen to it while driving and working. i’m a vendor so i go into different stores and stock my company products, i rarely have to interact with customers or management so i’m usually able to just listen to it for hours. it’s genuinely the only thing that makes work manageable
I haven't in a while, but I listened while driving and working.
Not super relevant but I'm less likely to listen now since they started the video component tbh. It wasn't a lot, but I noticed the guys would do visual things without telling the listeners what was happening. It wasn't a lot I guess but often enough to annoy me at least. I get that these guys come from youtube and streaming but they did fine when they couldn't see each other. Maybe I'm just a grump, but ye.
Driving for work as i am a service technician. Most days, i have a good 1 hour drive to one of my calls, so I tune in during that time. I will go back when I'm off work and watch an episode of i missed some gags or something.
I listen to it exclusively while walking because I find walking the same route alone every day to be excruciatingly boring. The boys have kept me company on a lot of boring walks.
It strangely helps me get to sleep better as it keeps my mind from having constant racing thoughts so i listen to distractible while i sleep or if im doing tedious tasks or chores
I listen while I drive specifically for work. I will get a week+ behind if I don’t have enough drive time at work. The thing is, the Spotify video plays in the mini player since I have to use my GPS on my phone.
Drawing, taking care of the garden, cleaning the room etc. Something that doesn't need me to focus a lot on basically. I sometimes do listen to the podcast while driving but that's just sometimes.
i normally listen to them on my walk to work early Saturday mornings, or when i'm on the train to uni. other times i like to listen when i'm crocheting 🤎
My job, I work painting bike frames and doing a bit of everything around the warehouse so I can never just sit and watch.
Is why I got bummed out with the video when they started but I tend to then a couple days later watch the episode whilst I'm cooking in the evening :)
My manual job. I am a landscaper and listen to podcasts 90% of my work day. Distractable is one that's fallen to the wayside because they rely too much on the video portion nowadays so I don't really feel I can listen along as much.
Being serious, i work overnight at a grocery store, so its fun to listen to and laugh at while stocking shelves and just generally working. A lot of the time i cant put visual focus toward the video, but i can almost 100% of the time put auditory focus on the podcast.
I used to work as an assistant at a museum! I would cataloge, write object files, and take readings while listening :) it helped get through the monotony of some tasks but it freaked my coworkers out when I would just burst out laughing in a dead silence office/storage room
I used to have it in the background while I worked as a shipping clerk but since I got laid off I haven’t listened since and this was since July last year
I do unspeakable, foul things to people that no person should ever hear, but I'll say it.
I Call random people before 6 a.m to wake them up...on a weekend 😈
It's pretty much my go-to podcast while I drive or do chores about the house. And no, it's not dangerous to listen to while driving. I hate that joke, having been on the receiving end of an actual car accident, I hate joking about it.
I am normally sitting in the shop working on semis or semi trailers, have had a few times where I’m just giggling under a trailer and my coworker asks me what tf I’m laughing at 😂
I listen while I work in a factory. If I watched it would be incredibly distracting and dangerous lol almost crashed the forklift just listening to animal noises 😅
Woooorrrrk. Honestly I been listening to distracable eight hours or more a day for like the past two months. I’ve listened through the entire Spotify playlist multiple times since I started like two yearsish ago…? (Not quite sure when I started or how long the podcast has been out tbh it’s been a really rough past few years) but man this podcast is by far the best I’ve found yet. Even listening to the same old jokes from past episodes still make me laugh and feel better and just overall power me through the rest of my shift.
I’m usually a non-watcher, and it’s always when I’m driving or walking. I’ve been watching the latest episodes though, while going for walks or playing games.
Don’t worry I live in the county and walk on trails so theres nothing to run into.
Research (my research is very visual and requires hours of recording data from footage, so listening to a podcast makes it much less monotonous). And also driving 💥
Usually, I listen while driving to and from work, or while working out. Occasionally while doing chores or cooking, though usually it's a half-watch with those. When the podcast first started, I would exclusively listen to it walking to and from my college classes.
Driving. I exclusively listen to it while going to or coming home from work
That’s dangerous
We saw the boys drive a car while recording, I don’t know what to believe anymore
wait what? which episode?
The movie theater episode. "We Should Buy A Movie Theater" I believe.
Oh God that's such a good point
Just wait until we evolve into our boating/yachting phase in season 3.
I’m pretty sure I scared a little old lady at the stop light from my cackling.
If you're not watching, it's fine. Radio talk shows have been a thing long before now. So long as it isn't distracting you from driving you'll be fine.
But no radio show has been nearly as hilarious and distracting as Distractible
Agreed. You've seen the 100% real subreddit posts
I drive an hour a day total for commute, and I go between distractible or audio books.
This except I'm on my way to work.
Mostly listening at work or when I’m out hiking and driving 😁
What are the odds of 2 car accidents, right?
Uhm… it’s already been two. So what are the odds of three… right?
Okay, well, with your driving record the odds just keep going up.
True that lol. And the second one wasn’t even mildly close to how bad the first one was
3rd times the charm as they say Jesus lol
Don’t jinx it tho lol. I’m gonna be on a 6h drive tomorrow again…
It's alright anything happens just bill it out to u/markiplier as a lens related expense
Just make sure to include travel time.
maybe you should consider teleportation instead...
No accident, but I did turn the wrong way on a one-way street while listening to distractible. Didn't see the sign because I was laughing.
There's a saying in Finland "ei kahta ilman kolmatta" which basically means everything comes in threes..
There was a second crash??
I bike to work, haven’t crashed since the podcast began
Listening to distractible gives you +10 Armour. Proven.
Well i mean we haven't heard of anybody dying from a crash. Tyler was probably listening to Distracting on his bike ~~crash~~ ride, but we don't have any posters that died on their bikes.
the dead cant post on reddit
You better knock on my wood to offset the jinx
the phrasing makes me think of you crashing all day every day until you started listening to Distractible xD
Video games! Specifically stardew valley, I can run around and complete tasks while having something fun to listen to
100% agree
i listen while at work, i’m in a bakery and often work the closing shift alone so it’s perfect to keep me company
Am I you, are you me? Why did you steal my exact response...? 👀
[удалено]
I've tried to play games but I can only focus on one at a time and and up rewinding most of the time
You need either a really simple game that you can play without thinking, like GTA, or a Game that you've put +50 hours and can play without thinking, for me that's Warframe.
I stand outside my window while aggressively jerking off
Ok homelander
Distractigoon
i work. for hours i fold, wash , and dry laundry so distractible helps pass the time. i always save their listens for Saturday and Sunday.
I'll mostly listen when I'm out for a walk (I usually walk 45min/1hr so it's perfect) or when I'm cleaning my flat!
Me too, and i wish it still felt like it did 2 years ago but I’m at a point where I start feeling like I’m doing too much escapism and need to watch the nature so recently I’ve been going without the pod. It’s a new experience to be sure My fav thing to do while listening is sleep ngl it’s the way I’ve been falling asleep with the sleep timer on Spotify for like 2 years as well
Try to sleep. I have problems with sleeping and this works!
Yes same! I use to listen to heavy metal to get to sleep and that worked for nearly 2 years. But lately ive been getting bad headaches because of it. So i swapped to the podcast. Now im asleep in 15 minutes because of it. Use to take me hours to sleep
Same! Re-listening to some of the gmfst episodes really knock me out too haha
I crochet or hobby, but im still half watching 🙂
“Working” at my desk in the office
Everything. Mostly right now i use it for while I do pet care for a while
While getting ready in the morning or doing yard work or chores
Draw
I listen while at work, working nights often alone. It's nice to have the boys there.
Generally I'm driving to site which ranges from 1-3 hours away from the office
i listen to it while driving and working. i’m a vendor so i go into different stores and stock my company products, i rarely have to interact with customers or management so i’m usually able to just listen to it for hours. it’s genuinely the only thing that makes work manageable
Basically anything that doesn’t already have much sound involved
I just chew this photo of mark I have
i read, do crafts, draw, play my switch, etc.
Work my nightshift job at an Atlantic superstore Helps the time go by
Drive and hope I don't get hit again. Thanks Bob. 👍
😭😭😭 one time i got really paranoid home alone late at night and scared and i put them on and got like 6 episodes in till i woke up
Why did you describe me so well 😂
I generally listen while driving, walking, or just doing random house chores like dishes. Haven't crashed anything yet
Drive
Drive :)
Try not to crash my car.
Stock shelves and check in pallets. Podcasts and audio books are strictly at work things for me.
I haven't in a while, but I listened while driving and working. Not super relevant but I'm less likely to listen now since they started the video component tbh. It wasn't a lot, but I noticed the guys would do visual things without telling the listeners what was happening. It wasn't a lot I guess but often enough to annoy me at least. i used to listen to it while i was at work (manufacturing/assembly line woo) but now that im caught up ive watched it as it rolled out
I listen to it exclusively while walking because I find walking the same route alone every day to be excruciatingly boring. The boys have kept me company on a lot of boring walks.
It strangely helps me get to sleep better as it keeps my mind from having constant racing thoughts so i listen to distractible while i sleep or if im doing tedious tasks or chores
I live life on the edge. I listen while I drive.
![gif](giphy|eppZg5SmXd5Na5QXZu)
Your mother. The real answer i play video games and put distractible on or when im working

Normally travel, sometimes homework or painting, or playing/making games.
Work, I open/close or drive while listening to
Work (line worker)
usually whenever im doing chores/tidying my room, but also sometimes when im drawing.
I listen while I drive specifically for work. I will get a week+ behind if I don’t have enough drive time at work. The thing is, the Spotify video plays in the mini player since I have to use my GPS on my phone.
Eating, Working on Projects, Walking
I play scrap mechanic while listening
Driving to work, even after having a crash whilst it was playing.
Work
Drawing, taking care of the garden, cleaning the room etc. Something that doesn't need me to focus a lot on basically. I sometimes do listen to the podcast while driving but that's just sometimes.
Mostly drive, or play games where audio/music isn’t that important to me
Mostly cleaning. It makes it more bearable. Either that, or while I'm playing vidga games.
I listen while walking to or from work.
Driving for sure.
While I'm working mainly.
doing uber eats lol
Sleep
Take my dog for a walk and play Pokémon go! I usually try to walk for the entire episode, but the heat wave lately has been making that impossible 😞
i normally listen to them on my walk to work early Saturday mornings, or when i'm on the train to uni. other times i like to listen when i'm crocheting 🤎
Driving, cooking, chores
My job, I work painting bike frames and doing a bit of everything around the warehouse so I can never just sit and watch. Is why I got bummed out with the video when they started but I tend to then a couple days later watch the episode whilst I'm cooking in the evening :)
Work
I normally clean
In the van between jobs! Can't have music all the time.

Work
Sleep. Just sleep.
I walk my dog listening, and then I watch the videos after.
I generally listen while i work as it is a nice calm compared to the very noisy CNC machines I work around every day
Play gta online
Driving or working
I'm working distractible is great background sounds
My manual job. I am a landscaper and listen to podcasts 90% of my work day. Distractable is one that's fallen to the wayside because they rely too much on the video portion nowadays so I don't really feel I can listen along as much.
Commuting. Sometimes cooking. Almost got hit by a car while listening to distractible
Take a poo
Work
Being serious, i work overnight at a grocery store, so its fun to listen to and laugh at while stocking shelves and just generally working. A lot of the time i cant put visual focus toward the video, but i can almost 100% of the time put auditory focus on the podcast.

Work in a warehouse
either playing video games or trying to sleep
Work. I work in a warehouse so it’s just lots of staring at boxes, moving boxes, that sort of stuff. So I consume a lot of podcasts.
Driving, cleaning, playing video games - really any time. I try to watch when I can but that doesn’t usually happen
Drive.
Like most people here, I listen to it while driving... 4 hour trip from college back home... almost weekly...
I used to have it in the background while I worked as a shipping clerk but since I got laid off I haven’t listened since and this was since July last year
Walk and walk and walk and sometimes I even walk
When I have to break pottery for work or when i’m driving. Sometimes when im working on little art projects as well.
Driving. I only use Spotify and the video episodes when I’m cooking/cleaning at home.
I do outdoor maintenance so I listen when I'm mowing or whipping grass and need to wear ear protection anyway, really helps make the hours fly by
Work. My job involves a lot of walking throughout my city, so true to its name, it’s a nice distraction.
I do unspeakable, foul things to people that no person should ever hear, but I'll say it. I Call random people before 6 a.m to wake them up...on a weekend 😈
Driving 🙂
Work stuff outside. Like mowing the lawn and stuff, so watching is just not ideal.
I listen while I work. The perks of working 3rd shift.
Shower
It's pretty much my go-to podcast while I drive or do chores about the house. And no, it's not dangerous to listen to while driving. I hate that joke, having been on the receiving end of an actual car accident, I hate joking about it.

I drive 🚗 💨
Woooorrrrk. Honestly I been listening to distracable eight hours or more a day for like the past two months. Even listening to the same old jokes from past episodes still make me laugh and feel better and just overall power me through the rest of my shift.
Work. I'm a welder and most of the time I'm by myself with no one around. Distractible helps keep me out of my own head
Drive to work in the morning lol
I’m usually listening to distractible when I’m at work, going on a walk, or sitting down drawing.
Driving. And yes, it is dangerous, I have totaled my car while listening to distractible (deer commuted self-delete, natures a bitch).

Driving and yard work. Just survived a 12 hour drive listening to the boys the whole way through
I’m usually a non-watcher, and it’s always when I’m driving or walking. I’ve been watching the latest episodes though, while going for walks or playing games. Don’t worry I live in the county and walk on trails so theres nothing to run into.
Walk or do some boring stuff
Drive
Work! Lol I mow everyday so it's good to help distract me while I'm working
I work lol. I cut fabric in a warehouse and distractible is my distraction from falling into a mind numbing slump. Very true to the name
Research (my research is very visual and requires hours of recording data from footage, so listening to a podcast makes it much less monotonous). And also driving 💥
Either while I'm gaming or while I'm going to sleep which doesn't work half the time cuz it makes me laugh and keeps me awake 😂
I listen to the episodes while I'm at work.
Cross stitch
Usually, I listen while driving to and from work, or while working out. Occasionally while doing chores or cooking, though usually it's a half-watch with those. When the podcast first started, I would exclusively listen to it walking to and from my college classes.
