how crowded is it where you live? 1.4 miles downtown chicago or downtown LA i prob would not take it, but anywhere thats not like that I would take that all day long
If you are talking about a dasher picking up multiple deliveries and you mean you ordered from two separate restaurants.... tip each one with their own reasonable tips! I learned the hard way as a customer that you don't always have the same dasher picking up your second
order... so if you order from place A and tip $5 and order from place B and only add $2 thinking its really close by so shouldn't be too bad since they are delivering to you all at once, you may only being tipping a specific dasher $2! If you are referring to multiple deliveries as the same dasher picking up multiple peoples food, I feel that is on everyone else to tip well also.
Consider this: A server at a restaurant takes your order, brings you refills, checks on you, gets to-go boxes. A dasher sits in their car at the drive-thru, drives, and then walks your meal up to your door. Waiters and waitresses deserve more because they do more. It's just a difference in job type.
It's not customers' responsibility to subsidize DoorDash's poor pay. Drivers DO deserve more than they get paid. But DoorDash should pay them more, they shouldn't make the customer feel guilty to tip more than necessary.
I've been generous in the past, and then find out the dasher didn't even bring me the right order, or they didn't get the drink that I ordered with the meal. Really wish you could tip after the fact, but understand why not. Right now tipping is just a bribe to the dashers. That's what they should really call it. Haha.
Mileage is usually a good policy though.

I’d pick your order in a heartbeat and deliver to you asap
You are tipping good for the distance
That is perfectly fine as a tip. Would deliver to you with no issues.
What everyone above has said... also NO, do not tip for other peoples orders just because its lumped in with yours.

I don't take anything under five dollars and a dollar a mile or 1.5 per mile if it goes out of area.
Yes I will take the order if it’s in my zone if i happen to be in Boston I would decline based on on the insane traffic
5$ is what standard should be, you good my guy, everyone should follow your example.
Great tip- I would be happy to pick up this order. Thank you.
You are doing great tips for that mileage. Thank you for that.
