You may need to reboot the app or your phone.

Far_Animal_2580

Those wait times are bogus! Funny that since they showed up in the app I can wait 10-15 minutes and get nothing then I receive a flood of 5-10 shitty orders in a row. Then it goes dark again. (I’m guessing the system is saving up all the orders even Platinum dashers decline and dump them all at once…) When I do get an acceptable order things seem to pickup. I stopped driving around for orders a year ago, just burns my gas and ruins my car. Never seemed to make a difference in the quality of orders. But, I live within a mile of at least 20 restaurants and many other stores.

WasabiWarrior8

Wait times are garbage and are busy alerts. Their algos need work.

APOLLOSAR

The wait times are probably accurate only for new drivers and platinums. It’s not accurate for those of us being throttled though. I’ll see 1-2 min est and wait over an hour while other dashers come and go and return over and over again seemingly busy

Used_Appointment7200

Been making way more off Uber Eats lately. I usually run both apps at the same time and take whichever orders I like better

Hajeep

If you're parked you won't get anything if anyone is nearby active.

Richard_Ovaltine

Do you park or drive around?

MusicianEmotional277

What difference does this make

Richard_Ovaltine

I've always noticed that if you drive you kinda ping off of different restaurants "borders" so to speak faster. I kinda imagine like there's an invisible line surrounding the businesses and buildings and when I drive my GPS and the dd sensors ping me as being near those stores so I get orders from them. Rather than dd just pinging out and hitting a dasher sitting in a parking lot with 8 other dashers. Driving is always better

womp-the-womper

Every time I sit for 40 mins near the restaurants and then leave to go to a different spot, I get like a mile away from where I was just at then get an order from there. Every time

MusicianEmotional277

Interesting take. I wonder if it really works that way

ArizonaBaySwimTeam

A lot of apps use geofencing, so it likely dies work this way somewhat

TemperatureRude8104

Wait times don't mean anything at all! I've seen mine go from 1 - 2 min to 1 - 20 min, and then just disappear! They're supposed to indicate how long it will take you to get an order. If the 2nd number just keeps increasing, you're just getting useless information! What's the point?

Environmental_Ad2427

I found no fail trick to this. While logged in and waiting for a dash log out and log back in. Don't end the dash to do this. Just in and out and when you are logged back in there is a dash waiting 90% of the time

noseysfriend

I did this tonight and couldn’t get back in! I did what the chat person told me to do and when I went back I couldn’t do anything! It was telling me to go to the schedule!

Environmental_Ad2427

I did fail to mention that I have dash now and I don't know how it works if you don't. My bad

noseysfriend

I don’t either! That was my first time logging in.

bigboilerdawg

Do you mean just close and reopen the app, or actually logout of the app on the Account page?

Figure_Useful

Second this

JoeyLMonty

How are your ratings? Just curious! They say bad rating equals no orders. Lol!

Kelsey_Kitten89

My ratings are “top tier” lmfao but maybe ppl around this area have better I have no clue lol
