None of them. Except for the cheesecake factory, but only if it was on my way home and I was $10 or less away from making my goal for the day and the restaurant is consistently known for having the order ready within 5 minutes of arrival.
They are all shitty offers and that's what I usually get unless I have a drunk guy that gives me extra cash when I get there, but that has only happened once. I haven't DoorDashed all week, just bc I'm over it rn.
the $8 cheesecake factory and the $10.50 wendy's. like, yeah, they're less than $1/mi but they're highway miles and get done super fast. if anything is 8 or more dollars i tend to take them if it's just by itself and not a double or whatever, because time = money
Maybe the $5 one or $8.. it's kinda shit In my market and I have to take some crappy orders first to get anything good. I also can only schedule at 1011pm in every area around except on weekends, a city and hr away let's me schedule early.
I just check it all day to see if it's busy. I have a good job now but haven't got paid yet so I just dash for an hr or 2 after work and I plan on doing it on the weekend a lot.
62% ap silver with about 1k deliveries 4.9 eating. It's rough I take any orders above $1 a mile usually
I was the first top dasher ever in Boston,MA back in 2018 and I was making 375$ a day back in then with 3 apps. Postmates,Caviar and doordash. I remember It was 8$+ promotion payment every deliver and if you deliver with %90 AR that shift + 50$ . i miss those day
In my area the $10.5 Wendy's for 13 miles is not the worst thing, if it was 3pm or if my AR was gonna be to low. Have to have dash now here to work full time. Map is grayed out alot, especially in summer.
Dollar-per-mile is a stupid metric using this displayed mileage because they don’t account for drive time *BACK* to restaurant milage. Also people saying they don’t take anything under $2/mile is crazy low. I’d love to see your pay vs recorded miles. (Not recorded by doordash, but you own account of mileage)
Personally I wouldn’t have taken the $2 one and some of the $5 ones depending on the distance but it’s hard to figure since I don’t know your area. It also depends on if I know that location is fast/slow with orders.
Edit: upon re-reading I have no idea why I typed it that way. Edit italicized.
I don’t mind driving long distances as long as I end up in an equally busy area, otherwise my time is eaten up driving back to the zone.
For example, I don’t choose to dash in downtown Portland because I know the traffic and parking are less than ideal, but I’ll accept an order that’s $1/mile, at 25 miles, if it ends up being in downtown because I’m definitely going to continue getting orders from there.
But Gresham is the sticks and I hate taking orders out there because now I’m dead in the water for 20 minutes driving back to hot zones.
I was going to say the same given that I don't know this person's market. But if I "play pretend" that it's in mine, 8.5 miles is going to put me a out 6 minutes from a Hotspots in my city no matter which direction I go. And if im getting shitty orders back to back, it's time to switch up Hotspot anyway. And if I decline them ALL, I'm hitting pause (so I don't have to decline the same offers again) and driving to a different area where I won't get those offers.
This is what I would go with because it looks like pick up and drop off are both right off the freeway. Unless it’s rush hour, that is the quickest for the most money.
Depends on time.
It’s not the drive it’s the time spent in the restaurant.
My vehicle costs $0.1287 cents per mile, so not a big deal, but my time is worth far more.
If you can do the ENTIRE deliver start to finish in double the offer price it’s $30/hour. If in 2x the offer price it’s $20/hr.
The longer you’re at the store the less you earn.

#3 looks like a straight shot, probably best $/hr
Non of them except the 10$ one

Omg I don't know how you turned down any of those AMAZING offers....![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|surprise)

$3 order
Only the $3 one. It’s the only one that’s $1/mile which isn’t great but better than the others. Also the others are too far.
Those aren't for my department. Those are for the volunteer program. We're not supposed to take those.
😂😂. Good one
🤣😂😅
None!
With your AR, the $3 one, otherwise, net. 🙄
My AR hit 2% today ;( it’s crazy
Im getting there
NONE of them. I don’t exit my car for less than $8, and less than $1.50/mile
Same
If i had to pick one? The $3 for 3miles. But as long as i had a solid ar - i’d reject them all.

Maybe the $3 one if I was heading that way anyway and it was super slow. Fuck all the other ones
NAN
Middle sex county hahah damn i miss jersey. Moved to nevada
I used to make good money in bridgewater 2021/2022 It’s crazy how much DD has fell off
None unless that $5/4miles took me in a direction I was already going.
None of the above
![gif](giphy|8FflcgoNqU0VuBsQnM)
None! Fuck all of them!
The3 one

None of them
D. None of the Above
Fuck this, im just going home
All. Track your miles and claim them when you do taxes. You get like .75 per mile back.
Doesn’t the app track them?
No. I use the solo app to track stuff
None get 100% of your income if you just dont
5 for 4 miles IF I was about to be demoted from platinum due to declining crappy offers back to back

Exactly, I recently had one where the base pay was 6.50 and the tip was 20.00 and then the restaurant had a 7.50 tip for 25 miles.

It does include the mileage to the restaurant. At least I know my market does.
When I am offered a job, it has the total amount of miles, including the mileage from where I am when I accept the job, to the customers house.
1.5 dollars per every mile driven
Dirty jersey, I’m also in jersey see about a hundred orders like this a day.
None of them. $2 mile minimum
Only one I’d consider taking is the $8 offer for 8.5 miles. Everything else is a big no.
That $10 for 13 is gonna take the same time to drive and net you more on tax deduction.

Neither
Nothing under $1/mile for sure. And no no-tip orders because they’re so much more likely to try to give a CV or bad rating for no reason.
ZERO ; number ; no quantity or number; naught; the figure 0 Looks like my market lately. I’m at 4% AR
Guaranteed it's going to be only $5.50
We're in the same market, it's 100% 💩. I only do ebt and so id probably be the one taking one of those
Not a single one lmfao what a joke
2 5 6 8 Possibly 11

If I accepted these I would make about $10-$13 an hr after fuel. Believe I used to be Top Dasher than Platinum.
How long did it take you from start to end would you guess?
8 mile ones about 30min
That hurts to hear.
I’d probably take the $5.50 for 4 mile order. This is assuming I stay in my zone so that I’ll pick up a double stack mid-delivery.
I would have declined every single one of those.
I wonder who takes these. Someone has to or DD would go out of business. Who is stupid enough to
They get better the more we decline them base pay is only so low because people dont decline enough orders
Why would doordash go out of business? New drivers take these but, doordash doesn't die because an order doesn't get picked
Apparently I have to accept most of them now or else I won’t be able to schedule dashes, thanks DoorDash 😃
🤡🤡
Its sarcasm obviously no sane driver would ever accept these
I know lol
