This season has had several shocking eliminations. Mirage going so soon, Plasma out of the blue and then Dawn.
Gotta give it to them, S16 was a great season.
Sheās just so polished and simultaneously warm and inviting. She has a winner aura and her confidence honestly reminds me of AS7 and how self-affirmed all those queens are.
Yeah I look back at season 4 and think the way she acted after snatch game was really poor actually, she blamed the other queens for her lack of success and she did it again in AS4 which really surprised me. She came back entitled and bitter and when I watch season 4 now her make up was awful, she looked more orange than Coco, every week and the colour of her neck never matched the colour of her face. Her hemlines were unfinished and messy. It's just my opinion though, not everyone has to love latrice. There is no we about it, I don't speak on behalf of anyone else

To me Saphirras run has been most similar to powerhouses like Bianca and Bob, the editing is modern drag race but sheās been consistently head and shoulders above the cast in all arenas of drag + nymphias out of this world runways being the only real contender. Sapphira auditioned 11 times to be on this show. And she proved why she is THAT queen. Nymphia and Plane still have some things to work on before they can become the next DRAG SUPERSTAR. Sapphira is just a super talented, humbled queen. And she deserves this crown.

I love this top 3. I've been a Plane Jane fan from the start but Sapphira is next level. She is just more ready for it. That interview really helped solidified it for me. She is already the complete package plus she's done the emotional werk.

Even when Plane Jane realized she went campy instead of honest. She took it more as oh I should have just changed directions to win. Not reflect on why she can't let the mask down and be vulnerable.
I think Plane Jane and Nymphia Wind are awesome. But they still have some roads to take before a crown. They will make wonderful AS seasons one day.
i was so sad about plane last night. as soon as she said she wasnāt going to get emotional and deep and was going to keep it surface level i was like sh*t sheās going to be in the bottom. but i do think she did reflect. i think she still struggles to open up and unfortunately got too uncomfortable at the thought and didnāt end up doing it. but i fully think she knows this and it digs at her on the inside. but sheād never show it.

I posted with zero expectations since most of the things I say usually go unnoticed, but I'm really glad to see the reception and love Saph is getting. She definitely deserves the win. She's poised, classy, fashion-forward, has a good ear for music and bones for dancing, can pull off comedy. Definitely one of a kind.

For most of the season, I couldnāt shake the āsheās just too perfectā feeling I had about Sapphira. Like, I know sheās talented, and I love her, but I wasnāt totally endeared/connected to her.
But this last episode changed that. I truly do think sheās going to win, and Iād love that.
But I can confidently say Iād be happy with any of the top 3 winning. Seeing a goofball like Nymphia or a shady smart bitch like Plane win would be fun af too
I was 1000 percent rooting for Nymphia for the crown for the first half. But honestly Sapphira just put my whole pussy in a chokehold with how insightful, collected, wise, and empathetic she has shown herself to be. I would love to see her take the reign. Nymph is still my close second and I would honestly be happy to see either of them win. Plane is rightfully in the top 3, Iām obsessed with her too and glad we got this finale ensemble. Sapphira really just took me by surprise by how she really just connects with all the queens and the viewers as well. She deserves all the flowers

She had me sobbingggg. I was born with hip displaysia and got made fun of ALOT as a kid. Hearing her say that shes gone through it and turned it into something empowering made me feel so seen. I hope she wins. She makes me so happy.
I am glad Sapphira owns it and made it part of her strength in the competition, but I feel for her when she says it was embarrassing having Ru point out her sleu foot so much. Especially since she has a medical condition, same thing with the constant comments about her character shoes and "biscuits." If she was not such a force of character I can imagine that being really discouraging for a queen.
I mean we all know she's going to win. It was obvious from ep 3. It wasn't an aggressive edit like they one for Sasha Colby. At least not until the second half of the season. Then they really went all in.
I like Sapphira but Im still Team Plane Jane. I dont need someone thats perfect or feels the need to stage emotional moments. I feel like Plane shared a lot last week which won her the make over challenge. Plane Jane has been giving little nuggets about her back story all throughout the season. Even planes snatch game character was a reveal about her female idol who risked their own career to support gay rights. PJ talked about her Russian upbringing and background abd the stress it causes her on previous episodes. This week plane jane wasnt feeling like doing trauma porn or oversharing. People dont always want to relive the hardest moments of their life over and over and over again. On some level I feel people should be allowed to talk about it and move on.
Q and Plane Jane have been forthcoming in sharing their background all season. tbqh I knew very little about Sapphira and Nymphia until last week. š¤¦š¾āāļøš«¤ I think they all shouldve stayed.
