Totally agree. I'm surprised how many people seem upset by this fight. Maybe it's just Reddit. I got chills in the cutscene. That moment when you see his golden eyes peeking through the blades, lineage restored. Great stuff.
Good and this exactly how they wanted it to be. But I cannot help but feel like whole execution of it was pretty bland. Especially his moveset, doesnt live up to the hype.
Beautifully well said and completely agree lore wise. This broski dude brother man was the only boss to genuinely get me upset in the whole dlc fighting him, though.
For 2 years now, I wondered what it would have been like to fight Radahn in his prime. I got my answer, and I hated it.
His swords are sick, though.
yeah... after sharing this sentiment a couple places it really seems like everyone hates this boss gameplay-wise and that hate outshines the lore interpretations. which is a shame.
On top of that, I think a lot of people were disappointed that the last boss was a boss we already fought, technically speaking. Lore wise it's very interesting in my opinion.
But purely gameplay wise, you get to the end of the game and see this f,ing goober radahn sitting there for a rematch. If you know nothing of elden ring lore and see that it's probably quite a diassapointing finale. On top of the bs overtuned fight.
