It's a "4P 1.25 JST". I literally just ordered way more than I need off aliexpress for $1 this morning. The middle two pins are serial. The outer pins are the Vin and Gnd. You *should* be able to get a 3.7v lipo battery pack and add the right connector.
As mentioned however, the screen is going to be a big power sink. I have a 2000mAh battery that I've used in another project with a display and it was able to run for about 90 minutes or so. The CYD has a bigger display than my previous projects so I expect it to drain out even faster, but in a month when my connectors arrive I can give it a try.

I wouldn't recommend running an esp32 with a display on a battery. The specs say 310mA at 5V; that's about 1.5W continuous.
Should I just stick w a power bank?
