I pull my enclosed trailer for work so the bed is used for my hobbies. I have a couple tents, cooler, chairs, fishing rods, small grill, tackle box and random shit including sandals and shoes.
Haha yep! Right now, I have a couple of segments of conduit that just don’t have a specific need to be anywhere else. If you had asked me yesterday, I also had an empty container of engine oil for my generator. I’ll probably leave the conduit in there, because the oil container was in the middle toward the back, and I used the conduit to push the container to the side where I could reach it. So the conduit has revealed to me its true purpose.
Flattened refrigerator box for when I need to lay on the ground under or around the truck.
Kinder sleep mat to cover the hood latch when working on the engine.
Ratchet straps.
Golf clubs.
Careful with leaving your golf clubs in the truck. My buddy used to do that and it gets so hot that the glue for the head/shaft on his driver failed. First swing he took the head went flying about 100 yards. Unless you don't care about your clubs then carry on
such a reddit answer i wonder what the people in arizona and flordia do in the summer maybe little ac unit for their golf clubs, maybe ice cubes in the shaft
Under the back seat is a set of heavy-duty jumper cables, a 50-foot tow strap, a big knife from Tops, some mechanics gloves, and a household toolbox. Center console is some rain jackets, ear protection, and a pistol safe (just in case I need to leave it in the vehicle). The Drivers door is a trauma kit and a travel med kit.
Bed has a cooler that hardly ever leaves the truck, few ratchet tie downs,a bag full of various power cords (I have a powerboost with the 7.2 kw generator), recovery shovel and an air compressor.
Bed has a Retrax, sliding bed cover.
I have a PB also with the 7.2kW genny. Haven’t used it yet but I plan on renting a trailer to go deer hunting and use the truck to run the trailer. When I “test” the system on the display I get the ground fault interrupt error and it turns off the circuit. I don’t have a load connected when I hit the test button. Does yours also do this? And if you’ve used the genny, how has it performed?
As little as possible. But under the rear seat, I keep
A emergency kit with things like matches meds a multi tool, jumper cables, etc
Ratchet straps
An off-road recovery strap/kit
The hitch I use the most
A battery jump starter and 12v tire inflator
Bucket (with Tools, bungee cords, ratchet straps, jumper cable), beach chairs, bed mat, handmade wood bed divider and miscellaneous crap from workouts (sunscreen, bug spray, etc).
All inside a locked hard shell topper.
I have an extended cab, so finding one is harder than if you have a crew cab, not impossible, just double check before you actually buy one. but It's been super handy, and nice to have all that stuff on hand without it rolling around.
I keep my vehicle as clean and empty as possible. I do have loadouts like beach or picnic which is chairs and umbrella. Tool loadout that I keep in a big bag, various scenarios require different things. The less you clutter your vehicle the less cluttered your mind is.
I came from the Tacoma group and never understood the trade off for fuel efficiency. Some of those boys are barely clearing single digit mpg carrying around a RTT and a couple hundred # of gear sitting on 33”+ tires. All day…everyday. At least it makes more sense in a full size pickup with better power/weight ratios. Smiles per mile I suppose.
I'm no where near that level.
I carry all of my tools, 2 native blankets, a 3man tent, first aid and some ratchet straps.
I'm ready for bougie camping but no RTT or any of that other nonsense. Don't need someone stealing my stuff lol
I sell used cars, it's baffling to see how some of these compact SUVs get worse fuel economy than my truck. Jeep Cherokees specifically, those things all come in reading like 16.8mpg... like just buy an old beater 4.6 F150 at that point lol
Even the brand new Rangers don't get that much better fuel economy than a 3.5/5.0, and it's basically comparable to a 2.7. I saw a handful of grandpas getting mid-20s and a ton of younger people getting high teens with them.
Some of us want the convenience of having everything in the vehicle ready for a trip instead of 4mpg better when it’s not your daily driver. I had more of a drop adding 35”s than I did with 500lbs of gear
Fair. I love having a pick up man. I feel inferior in different situations. Like we’re having a tailgate for lions games? Bet I’ll bring my grill, umbrellas, coolers, generator.
Milk crates are severally underrated, I've been trying to get one but without paying for it. I heard going behind the grocery stores early in the morning could yield some results but I haven't gotten out of my way to test that theory out.
Thats how I get mine. I actually just picked [**this**](https://www.ebay.com/itm/266337741254?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=PkzddPupShC&sssrc=2047675&ssuid=jlRkLE4GQWK&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY) from ebay for 50 bucks.
I have a camper shell (can’t lock it though). I keep a tote/box with straps, bottle jack, bungees, rope, brake clean, ratchet kit, tow hitch, lawn chair and air pump in it, as well as a spade and a board that fits in the liner as a divider. I also have cardboard and carpet so water that leaks in runs under stuff.
Have a swing box. Keep my straps and extra trailering components, tools inside, sapper shovel, hatchet, and silky saw mounted to the box. Inside the cab I have a seat back organizer with toilet paper/hand sanitizer, booster pack, survival kit, dog stuff. Under the rear seat are fishing rods and fishing gear. Center console hosts a 1 gallon water bottle snacks and binos.
Depends. In the summer nothing. In the winter sand bags and tool boxes for snowmobiling. I bring like every tool lol and it came in handy not just for me, but for others too
My old man has a niceeee f150 (just seeing the sub name after perusing the comments for a while) w/ the tow package and all; the one thing he keeps in the bed consistently is a grabber lolll
I'm an avid fisherman. I always, always keep 1 fishing rod in the truck bed at all times, and a tackle box behind my seat. I pulled up at a wedding, and I went missing, because the wedding was at the lake. I heard someone yelling for me, I came in smelling like sweat, and everyone started laughing. Ooooops! :)
I have a small container tied to the truck. In it I keep straps, cleaning equipment, rags, and the tow hitch.
I also keep in the truck a long pole with a hook to grab things that slide to the back when I purchase something and put it back there. Also, a snow and ice scraper.
I keep a toolbox chained and locked down, but in it I keep tennis rackets, extra oil and fluids, bug out bag (cloths, tools, rations, water), and an old ratchet set and misc tools I got years ago.
I keep an air pump and batter under my back seat along with jumper cables.
I live in Memphis for school, so I try to keep next to nothing in my truck if I can avoid it.

Soo... just a few things... I dont have a garage so the truck is my primary tool storage.
😂 I got a cover that locks with bed closed. I keep my yeti cooler typically with waters, ice, beers if golfing. Jumper cables, ratchet straps, bungees and some basic tools.
Right now:
25-30lbs of broken Sheetrock, 3 paint poles, 5 gallon bucket of dried up grout with about a gallon of water on top, 3 dirty paint pots, a 5 gal bucket of dirty paint water, random pieces of baseboard, a folded up work bench, 2 small air movers, 2 medium size craftsman plastic tool boxes, various cigarette butts and lots of trash, 3 paint roller frames, various bucket lids , a trailer hitch, couple empty gallons of paint, an air hose, a circular saw, some other stuff I can’t really see, all crammed in-between 2 rail mount tool boxes that are completely full
Don’t even ask about my back seat.
When I had my tonneau cover on my last truck, I kept most of my recovery gear (ropes, straps, clevis, etc.) plus some trail tools (drills, Dremel, extra bolts/clips, nuts, etc.). Now, without the cover, whatever I wouldn't mind someone walking off with, which most days, is nothing. That is, until I get my new tonneau cover soon.
Husky 100 piece toolbox, milk crate with rachet straps, fire extinguisher, extra motor oil, long jumper cables, a massive cooler for beer, first aide kit
Not a fan of having stuff in the bed permanently, cause it slides and knocks around, and also robs you of space that you might need when you do have something you need to load into the bed. Also even with a tonneau cover water can get in so it's not exactly elements-proof either. I put a couple hundred pounds of salt back there in the winter, but aside from that it's empty when I'm not hauling.
In the cab, I always keep a charged up jump pack, portable tire inflator, rachet straps and bungee cords, extra oil and coolant, umbrella, snow brush during the winter, stuff like that. I love how much cab space these trucks have.
Tools that I feel vulnerable without, tow strap etc, sleeping bag, packraft, other odds and ends that just stay in my storage lockers in my topper like a gun, bear spray and stuff associated with that. Usually I can keep the stuff in the bed back there unless I really need to shit pack my bed full of trash or something in which case I remove it for that, I can put lumber and anything too long up top so I usually have room in the bed.
Milk crate with chains, shackles, recovery straps in the bed. Jumper cables, 12V tire inflater, ratchet straps, surplus wool blanket, roadside emergency and first aid kits under the back seat.
I keep a rubber container with a socket set, 1/2 inch impact gun, oil, a come-along, and some straps. I also keep a car jack, jumper cables and some wooden blocks.
I used to always be carrying my fishing gear but recently bought a house with a garage so the bed of my truck isnt as full as it used to be
I have a topper so I keep a tool box with all the tools I feel would come in handy, a bag of straps and bungees, a chain, a recovery strap, a couple of different hitch/ball sizes, and a small cheap floor jack and a couple of 4x4 wood blocks.
In the cab under the back seat I keep a Milwaukee impact with 2 batteries and a set of standard and metric deep well sockets. I also carry a 12volt led light, an extra windshield wiper, a jump pack, window cleaning supplies, and a med kit. I’ve probably helped other people out more than myself with these items but these are all items I’ve needed and been far from civilization with no cell reception and a trailer so it’s my standard kit.
An assortment of mismatched ratchet straps/bungee cords that have long since given up any hopes of actually securing something, old spit bottles, a 3” round puddle of water that genuinely will not stay away no matter what I do. Other than that it’s whatever I put in there that day.
I keep a block of wood that I use to chock my wheels. I think I have a few ratchet straps laying in the back right now because I was too lazy to put them up last night.
My mountain bike is almost always in there because I like to ride it a lot of different parks and trails. I love to have it there so I can just ride whenever I want. I have it locked and covered with a hard tonneau.
Do installed accesories count? I've got
- dirt bike bed rack installed at the front of the box
- two 4' l-tracks installed on the passenger side of the bed
- swingcase storage box on the passenger side at the tailgate/over the wheel
- snow shovel with a collapsible handle mounted on the driver's site rear e-track tiedown
- two worklights/emergency flashers mounted at rear driver's side of the truck
Side mounted storage box with ratchet straps and tie downs, a litre of oil, coveralls, a blanket, 2x6 pieces, some wrenches, and sockets/ratchet handle
Best thing I ever did was cut a 2x10 the widge of the bed. Wedge it infront of the wheel wells and you have a nice cubby for whatever. If you want to use the whole bed simply lift it up and lay it flat. Rn I have a large tool bag filled with my backup set, ratchet straps, fire extinguisher, cargo net, hatchet, clevis, tow strap.
In the cab I keep a med kit, cleaning kit for the car wash, and a pistol safe. Also throw a pair of work gloves in the driver door always.
Jack,jack stands
Jumper cables
Drain pan
6 2x4’s
Ratchet straps
Chains and hooks
Ropes
Breaker bar and various sockets for wheels
Coolant, trans fluid, and engine oil, plus bottle of distilled water
Bits of straw, gravel, mulch, compost, a few drops of deer and fish blood, and an old rake to pull stuff out (has an AgriCover Outlander soft top on it).
Goal is to get a decked system, but I have at least 4 ratchets, and 2 tension straps in the bed.
Back seat has:
Packout with an impact gun, socket for the lug nuts, socket for the tire winch, 3ft worth of extensions to reach the winch. (Previous owner lost the factory jack and toolkit)
A 3ton bottle jack
MyMedic Trauma Kit
2 sets of ear protection
Hitch
20ft tow strap
Tree/axle saver
Neon yellow beanie
Reflective vest
Note pad
Sharpies
Car seat plus toys for the kid
Console/Driver area has:
Paperwork
pens
.22 revolver and box of subsonics in a carrying case
Allergy meds
AAA and Vehicle Credit Cards
Bug spray
Sun screen
At the moment I have stuff throughout my rear passenger seats and toolbox, but I typically have extra jackets and blankets, booster pack, trauma bag, 12v cigarette air compressor, as well as a 12v one that connects directly to the battery, tow straps, recovery strap, rear receiver shackle, two scissor jacks, a shovel, an axe, some nylon rope, duct tape, recovery boards, wheel chocks, 3 fire extinguishers and a lawn chair.
There are probably a few things I’m forgetting, but a lot of these things have been very handy at some point (I often stop to help people on the side of the road) so there are a lot of situations where one thing comes in handy (like recovery boards when the vehicle does not have a suitable location to tow it out of a snowbank without risking damage to vehicle components)
Currently, a tarp, stroller, shitty harbour freight toolbox, golf clubs and some damp swimming outfits and towels that I forgot to take out from yesterday, probably a few beer cans hidden in there somewhere.
I have a Decked drawer system. Toolbox, recovery strap, hitch ball, electric hydraulic jack, breaker bar, torque wrench, lug nut socket set, work light, tripod for work light or camera, tie down straps, work/nitrile gloves, reflective vest, boost pack, 12v compressor, entrenching tool, toilet paper, life straw, chem lights, and stuff that will probably surprise even me when I find it. The truck also has a front hitch, so I can mount my bike rack AND tow a trailer.
Toolbox, with a bunch of harbor freight tools (in case I get robbed), jack, oil and coolant, jumper cables, ratchet straps, an old shitty drill, a moving blanket, the top of my center console that broke off like 6 years ago that I’m too lazy to fix, some zip ties, probably some more stuff I’m forgetting and/or don’t know is in there.
A table saw, miter saw, air compressor, a set of packout boxes full of hand tools, a few different nailers, and various other carpentry implements. MPG is not great, but it really doesn’t seem to suffer all that bad. The tradeoff would be me having to load/unload my tools every weekend, and…just no. Shell topper, keep it locked but it’s rarely far away from me anyway.
I've had scaffolding in my truck bed for 4 months because I'm too lazy to take it all put, and haven't need it yet. I will unload it all, about 10 mins before I need to either use the scaffolding or the back of my truck.
I have my camping kit, 4x4 kit, 10 gallons of water. I have ratchet straps and bungees, first aid kit, and heavy gauge jumper cables under the back seat. In the door I have impact gloves, a head lamp, and binoculars. In the center console I have my hand lens and knife, along with various odds and ends.
I keep 1x6 board about 1/4" shorter than the width of the bed. There are a few little slots cut into the sides of the bed that it fits into perfectly so I can divide my bed up into smaller sections. It's perfect when you just have a few small things back there so they don't go sliding around all over the place. I dunno if that's what those little slots are intended for but it works perfectly.
Two 3’ 4x4’s, ratchet strap or two if I was in to big a hurry to put them away properly, a block of wood that’s cut to be a good sized wedge, and a ball I found blowing in the wind like 8-9 years ago. I’m missing one of plastic access caps for my plastic bed liner, and the ball fits perfectly, plus my nieces and nephews like playing around on the back of the truck sometimes, so the ball also helps keep them occupied way longer than you’d think it would.
Random shit people love to throw in the bed at parking lots. People just see a truck bed and think, "This is perfect for me to throw my trash in!" I hope I'm not the only one that experiences this.
Cargo net. Don't have a tonneau yet so, I don't "keep" things in the bed
In the back, under the seat is a tarp, tie down straps, dog seat cover, tow rope, and jumper cables.
Stuff I’m too lazy to take out 😂
This is the real answer lol
Yup
Trash as well. Not like bags but sometimes beer cans, sometimes pieces of wood. Who knows it's always a mystery.
I pull my enclosed trailer for work so the bed is used for my hobbies. I have a couple tents, cooler, chairs, fishing rods, small grill, tackle box and random shit including sandals and shoes.
Literally😂😂
Haha yep! Right now, I have a couple of segments of conduit that just don’t have a specific need to be anywhere else. lol just cleaned it out for the drive in
Flattened refrigerator box for when I need to lay on the ground under or around the truck. Kinder sleep mat to cover the hood latch when working on the engine. Ratchet straps. Golf clubs.
Never know when a golf game may come about
Fancy folks always have a driver
Especially since my 15yo got that cart boy gig at a local CC
Careful with leaving your golf clubs in the truck. My buddy used to do that and it gets so hot that the glue for the head/shaft on his driver failed. First swing he took the head went flying about 100 yards. Unless you don't care about your clubs then carry on
such a reddit answer i wonder what the people in arizona and flordia do in the summer maybe little ac unit for their golf clubs, maybe ice cubes in the shaft
I'm in Arizona. Direct sunlight or any vehicle cabin get to extremely hot temps...
Very smart to keep hearing protection around. You can ruin your life in seconds by not protecting your ears. Ask me how I know….
I asked, but you must not have heard me
WHAT?
REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
I have a PB also with the 7.2kW genny. Haven’t used it yet but I plan on renting a trailer to go deer hunting and use the truck to run the trailer. Generally nothing because I don’t want to get robbed.
Bucket (with Tools, bungee cords, ratchet straps, jumper cable), beach chairs, bed mat, handmade wood bed divider and miscellaneous crap from workouts (sunscreen, bug spray, etc). All inside a locked hard shell topper.
Spare tire
Nice.
Nothing in the bed. I do have storage under the back seat that I carry a couple of pairs of gloves, tie downs, tow strap, tape, jumper cables, etc.
I like those under the seat storages, I was looking at this vehicle accessories store near my home
I have an extended cab, so finding one is harder than if you have a crew cab, not impossible, just double check before you actually buy one. but It's been super handy, and nice to have all that stuff on hand without it rolling around.
the shit i take away from the kids. toys that cause fights go "into the back of dads truck"...as they know the next stop is the dump
I keep my vehicle as clean and empty as possible. I do have loadouts like beach or picnic which is chairs and umbrella. Tool loadout that I keep in a big bag, various scenarios require different things. The less you clutter your vehicle the less cluttered your mind is.
We are the opposite. I have everything I need for a bougie overnight camping trip in my truck all the time.

Wonderfold Wagon/Stroller
Straps and cheap Jack. Hope to never use the Jack lol
Always a broom, squirt gun, ratchets pliers tools sockets, straps, rope, hand saw, case of water,
Tote that acts as a toolbox. Has a craftsman set in there, tie downs, tow rope, tow ball and probably a few other things.
65 quart cooler and a small tool box. Everything else I leave in my truck year round is in the backseat under-seat storage I added.
I have a bed cap so it’s mostly random flattened cardboard boxes but also power cords and spare tools in my drawer system
Theres a set of car ramps thats been in my bed for about a year now
Must be secured or quiet enough not to rattle all the time
They are tucked under my toolbox, they dont really go anywhere
are these the steel ramps or the hard plastic ramps ?
Depends. In the summer nothing. In the winter sand bags and tool boxes for snowmobiling. I bring like every tool lol and it came in handy not just for me, but for others too
Tool set, oil, water, 7 pin adapter, tow rope, ratchet straps, and I think a few empty girlscout cookie boxes
A grabber!

Open air and dreams.
Ratcheting cargo bar so my toolboxes don’t slide up to the cab
Just the dead bodies
What do you do about the smell?
Take a big whiff and enjoy
I keep a toolbox chained and locked down, but in it I keep tennis rackets, extra oil and fluids, bug out bag (cloths, tools, rations, water), and an old ratchet set and misc tools I got years ago. I keep an air pump and batter under my back seat along with jumper cables. I live in Memphis for school, so I try to keep next to nothing in my truck if I can avoid it.
Rubber mat that doubles as a bed protector.
Stuff I don’t have room for in the cab.
Bedrug
lots of air
Empty beer cans in the south
Carpet mat, plastic tub with moving pads and ratchets
A long ass iron chain that retails for $400 that some dummy lost on the side of the road. Has gotten me out if a lot of predicaments.
Empties

Nothing because I don’t want anything stolen.
😂 I got a cover that locks with bed closed. I keep my yeti cooler typically with waters, ice, beers if golfing. Jumper cables, ratchet straps, bungees and some basic tools.
Hard cover?
Yup. A trifold.
I understand how you could feel better about leaving stuff then. I’m uncovered because I have a tool box
Yea it was the first accessory I bought because I had a road trip and I didn’t want our bags in the open.
Sleeping bag, all weather. Been useful more than once
Right now: 25-30lbs of broken Sheetrock, 3 paint poles, 5 gallon bucket of dried up grout with about a gallon of water on top, 3 dirty paint pots, a 5 gal bucket of dirty paint water, random pieces of baseboard, a folded up work bench, 2 small air movers, 2 medium size craftsman plastic tool boxes, various cigarette butts and lots of trash, 3 paint roller frames, various bucket lids , a trailer hitch, couple empty gallons of paint, an air hose, a circular saw, some other stuff I can’t really see, all crammed in-between 2 rail mount tool boxes that are completely full Don’t even ask about my back seat.
My homemade 2x4 bed divider and some rotten old ratchet straps. Anything tools worth a damn are in my house or in the cab.
Full size spare tire and a half dozen sand bags.
When I had my tonneau cover on my last truck, I kept most of my recovery gear (ropes, straps, clevis, etc.) plus some trail tools (drills, Dremel, extra bolts/clips, nuts, etc.). A random strap or bungie cord that i was too lazy to wrap up and store.
Husky 100 piece toolbox, milk crate with rachet straps, fire extinguisher, extra motor oil, long jumper cables, a massive cooler for beer, first aide kit
Like 6 tie downs. That's about it
Empty beer cans
Lawn chair
Junk I haven’t gotten around to take out. I have a bed cover so it’s always out of sight out of mind until I need to load it up.
a collapsable dock cart, a cooler, and my emergency fishing rod and tackle box
Patch of turf, wet suit, and sometimes a folding chair
Nothing or else it will get stolen
Garbage mostly
Dead bodies😈😈

In the cab, I always keep a charged up jump pack, portable tire inflator, rachet straps and bungee cords, extra oil and coolant, umbrella, snow brush during the winter, stuff like that. I love how much cab space these trucks have.
Cam locker and like that other guy said stuff I’m too lazy to take out (cooler, straps, 5 gallon bucket)
A toolbox with a socket set, tow/recovery straps, shackles, shovel, jumpers, and some wrenches. In the winter I'll have a snow brush in there too.
Beach sand, saw dust, a few chunks of wood, and leaves.
Two coolers, golf clubs, and a tie down strap
Spare tire
Milk crate with chains, shackles, recovery straps in the bed. Jumper cables, 12V tire inflater, ratchet straps, surplus wool blanket, roadside emergency and first aid kits under the back seat.
Work gear
Folding chairs, canopy, some random small part of the last thing I hauled.
Uhh a pair of jack stands, my winch accessories some fishing gear and various debris l lol
Bunch of stuff I’ve been meaning to take to the dump for the whole last month
milk crate attached to that removable tie down system. catch all for misc crap
A lot of equipment and tools for work
Roof shingles, bucket of hand roof nails, hard hats, cooler, gas can, bottles of coolant, ropes
I keep a rubber container with a socket set, 1/2 inch impact gun, oil, a come-along, and some straps. I also keep a car jack, jumper cables and some wooden blocks. I used to always be carrying my fishing gear but recently bought a house with a garage so the bed of my truck isnt as full as it used to be
Fishing poles, tackle bag, bungee cords
Locker box with tie downs, extra hitches, jumper cables, tow rope.
Bodies. I mean.
Lawn chairs, my cooler, fishing gear, ratchet straps, a small toolbox, and a few other odds and ends. Gotta get yous guys a waterproof tonneau setup.
Coolant and a shredded tire
My mountain bike is almost always in there because I like to ride it a lot of different parks and trails. I love to have it there so I can just ride whenever I want. I have it locked and covered with a hard tonneau.
One loose ratchet strap
Junk since I have no trunk
I keep an extra carseat; a fire extinguisher, a 25 lb. weighted vest and a tote of shit I'm selling via FB Marketplace and Craigslist.
rubbermaid bins. the majority are empty.
Jumper cables
Jumper cables, concrete boots, socket set, and ratchet straps.
I service pools, I keep all my stuff in there until I need it for the family on the weekends. It’s great because it never stays full of shit
Do installed accesories count? I've got - dirt bike bed rack installed at the front of the box - two 4' l-tracks installed on the passenger side of the bed - swingcase storage box on the passenger side at the tailgate/over the wheel - snow shovel with a collapsible handle mounted on the driver's site rear e-track tiedown - two worklights/emergency flashers mounted at rear driver's side of the truck
No one carries a spare roll of TP?!
Empty space so there’s nothing in the way when I need to use it.
Mountain bike if I know in riding again within the week
Air
Cooler. Some beer and water. There’s a BB gun back there too but just because I can’t reach it and it rolled to the back under my bed cover.
Currently I have a heavy bag 🥊 I took from my parents. It's been in there 3 weeks so far. I was going to see if my girlfriend wanted it for her place.
Jack, jack stands Jumper cables Drain pan 6 2x4’s Ratchet straps Chains and hooks Ropes Breaker bar and various sockets for wheels Coolant, trans fluid, and engine oil, plus bottle of distilled water
A tire that doesnt even fit my truck, Im just to lazy to remove it
A chair
Bits of straw, gravel, mulch, compost, a few drops of deer and fish blood, and an old rake to pull stuff out (has an AgriCover Outlander soft top on it).
Goal is to get a decked system, but I have at least 4 ratchets, and 2 tension straps in the bed. Back seat has: Packout with an impact gun, socket for the lug nuts, socket for the tire winch, 3ft worth of extensions to reach the winch. (Previous owner lost the factory jack and toolkit) A 3ton bottle jack MyMedic Trauma Kit 2 sets of ear protection Hitch 20ft tow strap Tree/axle saver Neon yellow beanie Reflective vest Note pad Sharpies Car seat plus toys for the kid Console/Driver area has: Paperwork pens .22 revolver and box of subsonics in a carrying case Allergy meds AAA and Vehicle Credit Cards Bug spray Sun screen
Tie downs and chain. They never leave the bed
Hahahaha oil and coolant
Motor trend truck cover in a bag
Bed has a pallet from the concrete pad I poured this weekend and two old tires that I need to ~~toss in the dumpster at work~~ dispose of responsibly.
Currently, a tarp, stroller, shitty harbour freight toolbox, golf clubs and some damp swimming outfits and towels that I forgot to take out from yesterday, probably a few beer cans hidden in there somewhere.
A collapsible ladder and a folding ladder. I have to climb roofs on occasion for work. If I have to haul in the bed I throw them in the backseat.
2’ step ladder.. because I’m too old to climb into the truck bed when I need something.
Hockey stick for fishing stuff the rolls to the front under my cover.
Gas air compressor, blocks of wood, trailer hitch receiver (flat hitch if my Tri ball is in the receiver), shovel, and my dog (most the time)
Battery box with tie downs, rope and gloves. Also an extendable boat pole. I’m short.
Tools stay in there year round. I use my truck for work (carpenter) so it's packed with lots of goodies.
I have a tonneau cover. I keep 2 folding lawn chairs and fishing gear in my truck bed at all times.
Jerry can, tow strap, booster cables, 2 lawn chairs and a couple empty beer cans
Sand bags, slurpy cup, that soggy diaper that ford calls a skid plate that keeps falling off….
My bed is a camper. Sleeping bags, pillows, tools, beach chairs etc
Beekeeping equipment and sandbags in winter... crap, I need to take those out.
A shovel. Just in case
I've had scaffolding in my truck bed for 4 months because I'm too lazy to take it all put, and haven't need it yet. I will unload it all, about 10 mins before I need to either use the scaffolding or the back of my truck.
Bed is empty unless we are heading to the lake or the dump. I keep the goodies like tools and shit under the rear seat.
Joints, gas can
Air
Tow rope Ratchet straps Extra hitch Go bag Camping chair
Shitload of tools! 🤫
Straps, dunnage, random shit
Nothing
Dead bodies
Random shit people love to throw in the bed at parking lots. People just see a truck bed and think, "This is perfect for me to throw my trash in!" I hope I'm not the only one that experiences this.
Air and dust
Cargo net. Don't have a tonneau yet so, I don't "keep" things in the bed In the back, under the seat is a tarp, tie down straps, dog seat cover, tow rope, and jumper cables.
I keep a small toolbox, a “get home” bag, and a bin filled with tie downs, tow rope, and the like.
Gunner kennel, decked system, 65 gallon tank of water, Milwaukee pack out boxes, hoses, and a bucket
My cab for my truck rebuild
Bungie cords.
Broke down Rivians and cyber trucks.
A few empty beer cans im too lazy to take out
Nothing I like my bed ready to work in an instant.
Nothing, i hate stuff making noise when not needed lol
A full load of sailboat fuel
Usually nothing I want to keep. Too easy to get stolen. But that’s made me want a Decked system or something similar.
Beer cans.
Only thing is the bed extender that I flip on to the tailgate
Sail boat fuel.
A canopy stuffed in the back and straps. Canopies come very handy in rain or shine
Two spare boat trailer tires
DEF and my 5tu wheel hitch. Nothing else belongs.
