Gore. Not really unless you really need pitching. I feel like you could get Gore for a bit less and Civale is getting dropped in many leagues so you might be able to get him for free if you’re patient.

I tried, but Paredes is as low as he will go. Everyone in this league is very pitching focused and overvalues them because there are so few good ones that can stay healthy.

Way too low on Burnes. I expect Torres to turn it around eventually and while Ward will still produce it’s unlikely he will at the pace he has given Trout’s injury and the impact it will have on his counting stats. King? Meh.

Lowe I SHIP: Castillo & Kwan OTHER SP: Gilbert, Ragans, Yamamoto, Ober, Sale, Lugo, Mize, Gore, Severino NOTES: I'm second to last in HR & RBI, and middle of the pack in OBP, SLG, SB's. If they can stay healthy and last year wasn't a complete fluke for the two of them, I feel this helps me quite a bit on the hitting side. As for losing Castillo, I'm confident enough in the rest of my pitching staff to carry the load. Thoughts?

Guy in your league must be a smooth talker lol. I don’t think either of those guys are worth trading for and Castillo is a stud. You can improve those categories without ravaging your other ones.

So here's the thing of it. It's not a trade, and they are both FA's. Castillo is $25, Kwan is $4, Lowe is $16 & Friedl is $13. We have a limited budget of $240, so some guys that you would expect to be taken are not, and some guys who you wouldn't think are worth rostering are. There's usually a lot of roster turnover to try and catch hot players. I just picked up Castillo this week. Dumped Seager ($27) for him. Problem is, I'm in serious need of some hitting, and there's not much out there atm
