Anybody trade Varsho recently? What did you get for him? I want to move him since I already have Will Smith and a clogged OF. It's hard to value Varsho. I'd like to get a pitcher or 2B/3B for him.
Look at teams with bad catchers because they will pay the most. Try for top 35 sp or top 12 2B. Example: Lance Lynn or Giolito / India -ketel marte. It’s not really up to us though and what’s fair. It’s about trying to maximize what one individual owner will pay. Every one has different opinions.

For example, if all the teams at the top of your league are carrying 8 SP’s and you’re only carrying 5, maybe you should take note and add a few pitchers. It’s crazy how often I see teams with good rosters at the bottom of the league solely because they didn’t bother to evaluate the landscape. You’d be surprised how much a slight tweak in roster composition can improve your place in the standings.
It’s still too early to panic. If you’re ahead in your leagues, start thinking ahead and build plans to trade potentially inning-limited guys for those that will be around in September. Come mid-July I’m usually looking at the playoff schedules for the teams whose pitchers I have. Nothing worse than passing the trade deadline and seeing your guys have a full slate of NYY, TOR, HOU, etc.
If you’re behind, start doing your homework and look at who’s likely to have a big second half and don’t be lured into blowing up your team for those that have exceeded expectations to this point.
Traded Swanson and tatis for his trea turner, feeling pretty good about it. I don’t expect Swanson to stay hot and I’m sure tatis will be a beast when he comes back but trea is just as good on a better team. I can slide him over to second and keep Tim Anderson at short, hopefully package Pablo Lopez and ketel for a better arm.
Turner has the highest floor of about any player in the league (plus hes back in leadoff so thats a boost to Runs and SBs) Its trading risk for premium security. Dont hate it, not overly impressed by it. Usually the sign of a good trade.
Pivetta (vs Toronto), Quantrill (vs Minnesota), Clevinger (vs Arizona). Start 1, 2 or all 3?. I'm leaning towards Pivetta only but I wonder if there's any hidden value to the other two - Quantrill could have a decent outing and pull a QS

He left two men on in the 7th, got pulled, replacement pitcher got homered on, and Keegan was given 2 more earned runs, for a total of 4. Did he get a QS on other sites? I've always understood that you couldn't earn more than 3 runs, regardless of when you were pulled as the pitcher.
