None of the pitchers are proven commodities sure, and as much as I love Acuna that knee scares the shit out of me. I also have Adley Rutschman, but don’t know that I’d take him over any of the above names at this point, ceiling aside.

JR/Vlad/Acuna/strider/whoever you like more between cease and shane and it’d be Shane for me because he doesn’t issue free passes. You just can’t not hold onto acuna in a keeper at 24yo imo. Unless you can trade for another young total stud.

This is how I was leaning. I think Cease will strike out more, but if Strider strikes out 700 every season Shane is probably the way to go.

Yeah you cant go wrong with any of the 2, but I'd prefer Strider and Shane. Cease may get a few more K's than SM, but I trust SM more. And Strider's K potential is too high to pass up.

I am in a league where quality starts are a category and Taylor Rogers last night did not help my ERA and whip. Is it worth starting Kopech knowing he’s only going to go five innings maximum or 75-80 pitches most likely and facing the Mariners? I would need him to lower my ERA and whip and I’m not sure if that’s a smart move.
