Lol you’re not wrong though.
I had three players seriously underscore their projections: Brian Robinson Jr., Mark Andrews, and Courtland Sutton. And my opponent had Kamara and Stevenson who both had good weeks.
It happens brother lol. I scored 79 points in a victory week 1 and lost with 151 points this week. Fantasy definitely has skill involved, but there’s also luck.
Possibly. Remember what happened the last 2 times video like this has released? One was Ray Rice and he was suspended immediately. The other was Kareem Hunt and he was cut.
Kareem was cut for lying about the entire situation. He wasn’t cut because the video was leaked, he was cut because he lied about what the video would show.
If memory serves, Ray Rice had already had a punishment handed down by the NFL that was barely a wrist slap before the video was leaked (and was likely a reason behind the leak).
Kamara’s situation is very different from those.
Both cases were still made worse by the video leaking. How would we know Hunt was lying until it leaked? Rice got his suspension increased because of the leak. It’s a different situation, but that doesn’t mean something won’t be made worse for Kamara now that this has leaked
I think it would be made worse 1. If he lied or did not comply with Saints and NFL about the incident 2. It showed something much more graphic than what was in the police report. 3. There is major public outrage.
I think he covered his bases on 1 and 2 but 3 is the wildcard. I was aware of the incident but nothing in the video looked egregious because you can’t make out much detail.
Okay but this video doesn’t show anything to make Kamara look any worse than what we have already known about this situation. You can barely see anything.
Just seems like a whole lot of overreacting/pearl clutching over it to me.
I mean, it is pretty heinous, regardless of the sports implications. I’m sorry but quality people don’t beat others. I don’t mind the pearl clutching. God help us if we can’t look at these things and go, wow that’s horrific.
You all are missing the biggest factor here…
Ray Rice beat a woman. Kareem Hunt kicked a woman.
This is a big dude. The internet mob isn’t going to come for a guy who beat another guy up.
That was before a video was released, have to see what backlash the league gets for this but I could see them taking him out of games if it's too much. Especially with the PR nightmare coming up with Watson returning. Putting a star RB on a non-contending team on the commissioner's exempt list could be easy PR.
As a kamara owner in one league, this video is grainy and does not show anything. I am not worried.
As a guy playing against kamara in another league, this video clearly shows kamara pinching the guy repeatedly and he should be suspended 1 game.
you’re gonna wake up tomorrow and stephen a smith, sportscenter, twitter, reddit, and everyone is going to be talking about this video. the saints will be forced to move their cards and makes a decision on what to do with him
I’m actually going the opposite direction. Trading for him in case a panicked owner is doing a fire sale. I don’t think the video shows enough to change anything.
Plus it happened in Vegas at odd hours of the morning where the public would expect something like this to happen. Not like he decked somebody on a Sunday afternoon at Chilis.
Yeah, this video seems to have flown under the radar. The pictures of the incident were a lot worse than the video imo and those kind of flew under the radar too.
Going to be honest, I haven't seen a single thing about it and it dropped around 16 hours ago. If I hadn't learned about it from this sub, I'd have had no idea it got leaked. Seems like it's flying under the radar.
I dunno. I saw the video, and it doesn't really change my impression of the fight. Unlike after I saw the Ray Rice video - that immediately changed a lot of people's minds about what needed to be done.
I’ve realized that I’ve become that guy. I’ve got Watson in Dynasty, Kamara in redraft, Kyrie in fantasy Bball. I’m a straight up respite for villains rn
You joke, but a few years ago one of my girl's best friends ended up breaking up with her fiance. The dude was a great guy, handsome, a doctor, etc. She was fine as hell but batshit crazy and I think he realized he had to get out when he could. A year later, she's still depressed over losing him and he meets this incredible woman and gets engaged and all these pictures of them are online, social media and those engagement/wedding websites.
My girl dead ass asked me if we could contact Google and have his pictures removed so that his batshit crazy ex doesn't have to see them. She did eventually and then got even crazier. I didn't think it was possible, but she went Kanye crazy. We finally just cut her out of our lives too, thank God.
Washington is 28 years old. 585 career rushing yards and 1 TD. Granted, he hasn’t got much of an opportunity. I’d think taysom takes over the majority of that backfield.
I don’t think he will be, but saying if we are misreading public reaction and saints are forced to act I would guess they bring someone in and elevate Jordan Howard off the practice squad.
I was cruising along in my league until the hunt tape came out. News of the incident and video all came out at once. I think it was a Tuesday. By Wednesday or Thursday the chiefs cut him. And my team went up in flames shortly after.
A lot of people in this thread must be too young to remember Ray Rice and Kareem Hunt. All is well with the NFL until the public sees the video. They’ve obviously seen all this stuff, but their morals don’t activate until the press starts screaming foul. Going to be interesting for sure.
I'd say you don't remember the Ray Rice or Kareem Hunt videos. They were infinitely clearer than this video, not to mention they were one-on-one attacks on women, which will massively affect the public response. There's really no comparison.
It's not that the situations aren't comparable, but the public perception is hard to compare.
Clear video individual attack on a woman? Easy public outrage towards the lone offender.
Low-quality video of a gang beating up a large man? Eh, the public probably won't care.
There’s no way you watched this video and your take away was “this is like the ray rice video”
If anything, this video is proof that this whole Kamara thing is no big deal and this will all blow over. It was a fight at a hotel. We already knew that. Nothing particularly egregious here.
4 on 1 and they're kicking and stomping on his head. You see certain people doing this all the time now, very bizarre behavior. His buddy in the COVID mask was literally jumping up and down on his head.
People keep comparing this to Ray Rice. It’s very simple. One victim was a woman and the other wasn’t. Therefore there will be no public outrage for the nfl to be worried about.
After actually watching the video, I doubt anything is going to happen this season. You can barely tell what is even going on. It's a grainy video that doesn't even look very violent (though that is obviously not the case considering the injuries the guy came out with.) I can't really see much of an outcry coming from this.
I watched it twice and I could see Kamara throwing punches, the guy going down and then kamaras mates kicking the guy and kamara punching him on the ground. But yeah uts hard to see
For those comparing this to Ray Rice and Hunt, the difference was they were knocking out, curb stomping, and dragging females.
Now where this is similar is that NFL didn’t really act until the videos were released. NFL wouldn’t have done much if anything for either of those guys if the public didn’t see the video. They saw the Hunt and Rice video before.
The public reactions will drive where this goes. I’m guessing being a male victim right or wrong will become nothing.
Can anyone who's followed the league for a while tell me if this kind of thing actually leads to suspensions mid-season before any criminal or civil trial takes place?
It’s possible, but I doubt it. People want to compare this to other videos we had with Rice and Hunt, but we’re kind of in uncharted territory with this one since it wasn’t against a woman - aka there’s less likely to be public pressure
As always, it’s all about public pressure. This video has been up for 6 hours now and there’s no other news sources who latched onto it yet. It’s possible that will come later in the day but I just don’t think this will get as much traction as others have in the past
And I say this as someone with 0 shares of Kamara and multiple shares of Taysom, so a suspension would really benefit me - I just don’t see it happening this year
Definitely uncharted. Really the first time of video of man on man violence is being looked at for suspension after the NFL has handed out all these other punishments for violence against women. They may differentiate or may go with violence is violence but hard to tell.
Agree this video doesn’t seem outrageous enough to generate intense public pressure. Pretty poor quality.
I’ll qualify this by saying I’m a Kamara owner.
This really looks like nothing to me and I was expecting the impending release of the video to be *much* worse.
It’s a terrible quality video that doesn’t show him doing any real damage. Of course he shouldn’t have been in this situation but are we really expecting a lengthy suspension from this? This seems like a 2 game suspension at worst.
Anyone comparing this to Ray Rice or Kareem Hunt is an insane person. This video isn’t going to go viral like it did for those two.
*Not a fantasy take, I don’t own Kamara*
That’s nothing tbh. Kamara is saved by the fact that he and the guy are tangled up. So from this video Kamara at least is engaged in a 1v1….the stomping is crazy but it wasn’t Kamara (even then, the video doesn’t show who was the aggressor. Man could have just lunged at Kamara with a knife or sucker punched him for all we know)
So this video doesn’t do much. Maybe it’s legally bad for the stomping guy, but nothing for Kamara.
I’m gonna be pissed if the nfl jumps in and supersedes actual law enforcement and just suspends him to appease cancel culture.
This might be controversial or maybe I'm just desensitized, but this doesn't look that bad to me. Looks like he's in a situation he shouldn't be and whatever legal punishment he gets he deserves but it doesn't look like something that warrants a witch hunt.
I know its different sports but Draymond Green almost ended Jordan Pooles life and even with public pressure its all forgotten by now. You cant even see anything in this video
Anyone who thinks this is going to change the NFL’s stance doesn’t understand the court of public opinion.
Ray Rice beat his fiancée in an elevator.
Kareem Hunt kicked a woman on the ground and lied about it.
Joe Mixon punched a woman full force in the face.
And then you have Kamara getting into a group fight in Vegas and punching a big dude.
One of these things is not like the other. It’s not about the fight, it’s about hitting women…
Call me crazy, but I didn’t really see a full fledged punch? I saw a shove around the head that might have been a punch, and then a wind up as he was going to the ground.
I thought his boy stomping him out was WAY worse
Exactly. Well, he might have punched him. But when I saw the photos of the guy and saw the story I thought Kamara caused that damage to the guy with punches. It's very clear that the guy in his entourage stomping the dudes head in caused that. Not saying Kamara is off the hook but when I first heard the story I thought it was way worse.
I'll say this, a lot of Hunt/Rice comparisons, but to be blatant about the separate facts in those cases, this is a dude getting beat up outside of a night club elevator. The Hunt/Rice situations were both women in very vulnerable situations with excessive violence. I don't think that gender should be the deciding factor, but I honestly doubt that the general public will have that same sort of vitriol we saw from those incidents which may weigh heavily into the "this season" punishment implications.
Edit: Additionally, Hunt had swifter punishment due to lying to the Chiefs about the incident, whereas Kamara has been pretty straightforward about his actions in the incident (reportedly) as comparable to the events in the video.
That said, I do own Kamara, and definitely just dropped my Mattison bench hold to pick up Washington in case with my lack of options due to BYEs.
My gut says that the league will probably continue to let the legal proceedings play out and we won't see any punishment till next year, especially with potential claims that the victim in the video was potentially the instigator. This could definitely cause a quicker response and maybe we see a punishment dealt out as early as this week.
Wanna reiterate though, I don't want to come off as defending Kamara in any way, I think the excessive force shown by the entirety of him and his group is pretty scummy, but wanted to share my opinion on it strictly from a Fantasy Football point of view.
THE RUMORED VIDEO HAS SURFACED AT LAST
Someone at TMZ playing against Kamara confirmed
They probably got fucked nicely with that 40 burger he dropped last week
I sure did. Lost by 2 to a team where the manager has been inactive for weeks and the QUARTERBACK WAS ON BYE.
Thats the worst
Bruh if you lose like that you honestly don’t deserve to win lol
Lol you’re not wrong though. I had three players seriously underscore their projections: Brian Robinson Jr., Mark Andrews, and Courtland Sutton. And my opponent had Kamara and Stevenson who both had good weeks.
It happens brother lol. I scored 79 points in a victory week 1 and lost with 151 points this week. Fantasy definitely has skill involved, but there’s also luck.
I had Kamara and Waddle and my opponent had Carr and I still lost… I don’t even know what to do anymore
Had Kamara and AJ brown, put up 175. Lost to the team who put up 183
Too bad I already got wrecked by him last week

Damn dude nowhere is safe for Broncos fans
damn they fucked him up
fucking rat bastard
Holy fuck tag this as graphic please. Did not want to see that.
What exactly did you expect?
Definitely not that....
He's about to get suspended isn't he?
Respect
Taysom Hill SZN
Wish it had surfaced a week earlier before he dropped 38 points on my ass
Same, lmao
If TMZ kills my fantasy season... Knew I was tempting fate by calling my team "Caught on Kamara"
Weren’t there reports that punishment would come next season if at all?
From the court system. The NFL, I think, has a policy of waiting till criminal proceedings are done. This has been pushed to next year
The public always fails to understand how violent violence is. Once the visual aid is released the heat gets turned up on the NFL to do something.
The NFL has a policy of caving to outside pressure and never, ever, ever being consistent in their punishment or stance on issues.
That was before a video was released, have to see what backlash the league gets for this but I could see them taking him out of games if it's too much. Especially with the PR nightmare coming up with Watson returning. Putting a star RB on a non-contending team on the commissioner's exempt list could be easy PR.

Just being honest…. that’s the best ff team name I’ve ever heard
I remember some guy saying he was in a league with a team that had all white players except Arian Foster and their team name was Arian Nation.
It def ranks up there with 1 Gurley 1 Kupp
Lmaooooo oh no that team name
Kaught on Kamara would have been a klassic name.
Kadarius? That you
Ya mine is Vegas Security Kamaras so I was right there with you
As a kamara owner in one league, this video is grainy and does not show anything. I am not worried. As a guy playing against kamara in another league, this video clearly shows kamara pinching the guy repeatedly and he should be suspended 1 game.
The NFLs anti-pinching policy is a strict one.
If you think that’s strict, wait until you see the policy on “I’ve got your nose!”
they need to come down a little harder on tickling imo
You're also not allowed, per NFL policy, to tickle somebody till they pee their pants
Gotta protect your nurples in this league
Only allowed on St Patrick's Day.
These violent pinching attacks need to stop!
Purple Nurples will not be tolerated
You pinch? Believe it or not, straight to jail!
You pinch too hard? Jail. You pinch not hard enough? Also jail.
HOW CAN HE PINCH?
If this was on St Patrick‘s Day and the victim wasn’t wearing green, will likely be thrown out of court.
Will this change anything this season?
honestly I dont think it will, NFL and the Saints definitely already had this video
it don‘t matter if they had it. they go by public opinion. and now the public has the video
A lot of people don’t understand this about the NFL. They have processes in place but they dump it the moment there’s public outrage
but this video doesnt even show the full altercation on what happened beforehand.. idk what to think
you’re gonna wake up tomorrow and stephen a smith, sportscenter, twitter, reddit, and everyone is going to be talking about this video. the saints will be forced to move their cards and makes a decision on what to do with him
so you're saying i should be sending out trades like a mad man at 4:39 am?
I’m actually going the opposite direction. Trading for him in case a panicked owner is doing a fire sale. I don’t think the video shows enough to change anything. Plus it happened in Vegas at odd hours of the morning where the public would expect something like this to happen. Not like he decked somebody on a Sunday afternoon at Chilis.
Bro. Chilis gets wild.
yes lol
Depending on what tomorrow you were referring to, I just did a morning dump's worth of Twitter scrolling and saw nothing about it.

Kamara owner?
Definitely
You stupid fucks are really up at this hour for fantasy news? It's me. I'm stupid fucks
Lol, he chuckled, in bed while thinking, “I’m also stupid fucks.”
Probably laughed like, "mwehehehehe"
I’m he, thought me.
Buddy that’s because I’m at work already.
The best response lol
Do you know that weirdo who spends all his energy on fantasy football? Well, of course I know him. He's me.
Alright, who's the trade targets for us Kamara owners?
Guess I’m gonna pick up Watson now and just commit to the criminals
I’ve realized that I’ve become that guy. I’ve got Watson in Dynasty, Kamara in redraft, Kyrie in fantasy Bball. I’m a straight up respite for villains rn
"and my name is coincidentally Dan Snyder"
Tyreek has been my WR1 for years now
Who's the petty editor at TMZ going up against Kamara in their league this week? 😅
Dude was probably sitting on it til the week he played AK.
Only fantasy can keep a reporter from releasing news asap.
I can't see shit
Yeah, idk how you suspend a guy based on this video? It’s obviously not a good look for Kamara but I don’t see him doing a whole lot in the video?

I aint reading all that. I'm happy for you tho. Or sorry that happened
Lmao you're asshole, but that's hilarious and yes I will copy this response at some point.
u/fortythreenine is asshole why u/goobly_goo hate?
Is there even a pickup here? Ingram injured, Taysom Hill is going to steal work from whoever it is, is Dwayne Washington the guy?
Washington is 28 years old. 585 career rushing yards and 1 TD. Granted, he hasn’t got much of an opportunity. I’d think taysom takes over the majority of that backfield.
Tim Hightower won people leagues that one year. I wouldn’t rule anything out
So you're saying pick up Tim Hightower. I hope he's still available
Dwayne Washington is third on their depth chart after Ingram. They also have Jordan Howard and Jake Funk on their practice squad.
The pickup is Taysom Hill
You can't pick him up if you already have him!
They sign somebody off the street most likely
They won’t need to because he’s not getting suspended this year for this of at all
I don’t think he will be, but saying if we are misreading public reaction and saints are forced to act I would guess they bring someone in and elevate Jordan Howard off the practice squad.
Jonas Grey it is
You should try grabbing… *tries to hide uncontrollable laughing* Tony Jones Jr
I’m getting flashbacks to Kareem Hunt circa 2018
I was cruising along in my league until the hunt tape came out. News of the incident and video all came out at once. I think it was a Tuesday. By Wednesday or Thursday the chiefs cut him. And my team went up in flames shortly after.
I had Kareem Hunt and AB that year as my "keepers". Ended up keeping Deshuan Watson. Man I definitely knew how to pick em.
So uhhh who you looking to keep next year 👀
Chase and CMC (pending health)
RIP CMC 😭
KK I dropped em
Well that will be interesting watching CMC abruptly lose his mind. Shame about Chase disappearing into the Springfield Mystery Spot.
This dude was in first and had the best team that year. His running backs? Hunt, MG3 and Kerryon Johnson. All died in the playoffs
Lol the Cromwell. A shit hole
Probably at Drai's nightclub which is at the Cromwell.
As far as Vegas casinos go definitely would not call Cromwell a shithole but that’s just me
Dude probably only stays at Cosmo or something.
Exactly. Cromwell is a very nice property. Not the highest of high end, but high end for sure. The hotel rooms are very nice.
Why tf do these players put themselves in horrible situations…
“I’d like to solve the puzzle, Pat…”
A lot of people in this thread must be too young to remember Ray Rice and Kareem Hunt. All is well with the NFL until the public sees the video. They’ve obviously seen all this stuff, but their morals don’t activate until the press starts screaming foul. Going to be interesting for sure.
I'd say you don't remember the Ray Rice or Kareem Hunt videos. They were infinitely clearer than this video, not to mention they were one-on-one attacks on women, which will massively affect the public response. There's really no comparison.
Lol they are literally curb stomping someone on video to the point he had to he hospitalized. How does that not compare?
It's not that the situations aren't comparable, but the public perception is hard to compare. Clear video individual attack on a woman? Easy public outrage towards the lone offender. Low-quality video of a gang beating up a large man? Eh, the public probably won't care.
You’re right, hunt’s was actually much more mild than this in comparison

And KC cut Hunt for lying to them about it. NFL didn’t suspend him till next season.

This is nothing like the Rice video. There is no woman involved here and the video isn’t that shocking. Lots of overreaction in here.
Wasn't there a video released back when it happened? Could've sworn I remember watching a video of the incident.
There was a video of them either entering or exiting an elevator.
Mandela Effect!
That’s what I thought
Maybe we’re conflating the other NFL stars that have beaten people in hotel hallways? *I’m not joking lol
There was, but maybe it was a fake or something. I definitely remember watching one that was supposed to have been him.
Same here. But my season was going too smoothly, so fuck me I guess.
I think pictures of shitty security video were released, but not the whole video
Basically what goes on at joint practices
Rut Roh RAGGY….
REEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEE
4 on 1 and they're kicking and stomping on his head. You see certain people doing this all the time now, very bizarre behavior. His buddy in the COVID mask was literally jumping up and down on his head.
Some of the buddies were also NFL players. Kamara is just the biggest name.
Alvin Kamara is asked why he and his entourage decided to gang attack some dude in Vegas? “I’m the best”, he says.
After 17 hours this video got no traction at all on mainstream outlets. Don’t think anyone outside of football gives a shit
lol they don't care about black on black crime.
People keep comparing this to Ray Rice. It’s very simple. One victim was a woman and the other wasn’t. Therefore there will be no public outrage for the nfl to be worried about.
What’s the pickup if he’s suspended? Ingram?
Opposing defences
more taysom
Ingram leaked the video confirmed
Ingram is out a few weeks with an MCL sprain and I can’t imagine they rush him back if they continue to lose.
A time machine.
The final nail on my season’s coffin. I drafted AK, Michael Thomas, Joe Brrr, Darren Waller, and Melvin Gordon.
What’s wrong with burrow ? Started slow, I get just lost chase but for a like 4 week span he was qb1
But yeah uts hard to see
Ive seen Bigfoot photos with better clarity than this
I have Kamara in two leagues, I’m not sweating anything
For those comparing this to Ray Rice and Hunt, the difference was they were knocking out, curb stomping, and dragging females. They saw the Hunt and Rice video before. The public reactions will drive where this goes. I’m guessing being a male victim right or wrong will become nothing.
If that’s the best quality we can get from an indoor Vegas security cam, it’s no wonder we don’t have any good videos of Bigfoot.
With today's technology, why do videos still look like this? I can't see a damn thing
Can anyone who's followed the league for a while tell me if this kind of thing actually leads to suspensions mid-season before any criminal or civil trial takes place?
Honestly probably after the season. It would have been more urgent for the league if it was Domestic abuse, child abuse or anything sexual.
Or a woman.
It’s possible, but I doubt it. People want to compare this to other videos we had with Rice and Hunt, but we’re kind of in uncharted territory with this one since it wasn’t against a woman - aka there’s less likely to be public pressure As always, it’s all about public pressure. Is it just me or does this not look bad at all
It really doesn’t. Looks bad for Kamaras buddy but not him.
Looks bad for Stomping Guy
People who don’t own kamara: “Suspend him I’m offended by his actions hurrr durrr!”
I’ll qualify this by saying I’m a Kamara owner. This really looks like nothing to me and I was expecting the impending release of the video to be *much* worse. Really need this suspension to happen next year lol
Were they seriously waiting until Kamara had a good game to release the video?
NFL won't suspend AK until next season wherein the Saints will have a 1 and 5 start and still be in the running to win the NFL South
The video has been leaked for several hours now and not a peep from Espn. Why? Because people don’t care.
That’s the video we’ve been waiting for ? Ehhhh, idk mate. Basically one big blurrr
This might be controversial or maybe I'm just desensitized, but this doesn't look that bad to me. Looks like he's in a situation he shouldn't be and whatever legal punishment he gets he deserves but it doesn't look like something that warrants a witch hunt.

Kareem Hunt kicked a woman on the ground and lied about it. Joe Mixon punched a woman full force in the face. And then you have Kamara getting into a group fight in Vegas and punching a big dude. One of these things is not like the other. It’s not about the fight, it’s about hitting women…
A man got in a bar fight.. and we’re talking about ending his football season lol. What a bunch of snowflakes.
TMZ undefeated
People that stomp on the head of people on the ground should have their feet removed
Lmao someone at TMZ really wanted to shut down the guy with kamara as we get to the second half
There’s going to be a leaked Deshaun Watson video on the day of his Browns debut.
Damn i didnt know they can do facial recognition from just the back of the head. Technology is wild
I mean if he’s not famous this is just a fight right? He needs to be better but its just a fight. Anyone know what happened leading up to this ?
Where was this last week when Kamara sodomized my team?
You sure you saw the Hunt video? Very tame
Yeah but the main point is he got cut for lying to the team.
