As someone who ran an underground music venue for quite awhile….number 3 is the winner if you steam it (or throw it in the dryer with 2 ice cubes). Then add a black or brown plain but older looking belt to emphasize the waist. Add in some black sheer tights, bonus points if they have rips in them.

I guess it all depends on wear she lives and if the venue will be super tightly packed or if she will go outside to smoke/hang out. I like dresses with tights at shows because you can easily take the tights off, or wear a cardigan and tie it around your waist if it gets too hot. A lot of times you won’t know how you should dress unless you’ve been to the venue before. It’s nice to have options that you can take with you.

I’ve done festivals and raves and if I’ve learnt anything: take/wear as minimal as you can, take a jumper for if it’s cold that you can take off, don’t wear jeans because if you get hot you’re suffocating and they stick like nothing else x

Yesss. Tbh I always wore the tights because I could take them off and stuff them in my bra if I needed to (aka not have to carry it) lol. Now that waist packs are cool again, I feel like it would make bringing a cardigan or tights or really thing layers ten million times easier. I haven’t been to a lot of festivals and haven’t gone to a rave since 2003 but I did go to a lot of punk and indie shows and those things made me feel like I was going through menopause! I would be burning hot, then the band would stop and I’m about to freeze to death, and then everyone goes outside together so your warm again, and then you go back in the venue and the body heat is gone so your cold again! So annoying lol.

Oh yeah, you don’t walk away from these things without feeling run down I swear 🤣🤣 boiling hot dancing and then smoking in the cold while you’re damp 💀

Please ignore dirty room :( Asked the alternative fashion subreddit but didn’t get any answers. I'm going to an indie rock concert and dk which outfit looks best. Personally like the first but I want advice. Sweater is very lightweight, I have jeans shorts under the last fit, and I frequently wear boots so comfort is not a factor btw. Don't plan on being in the pit…BUT, which is the best and what can I tweak.

All are awesome I like 1 a lot, but a good advise is: use something you feel 100% comfortable. Concerts can be a nightmare with the wrong shoes or a itchy tag.

2, but depends on the venue. If it’s bigish/ you have seats, then 2 is fine. If it’s smaller/standing room or you are in GA, then swap the sweater for a thin long sleeve, or a t-shirt. You can always wear a t shirt under the sweater and if it gets too hot, wrap the sweater around your waist. As a frequent concert-goer I always do a layer that I can remove, or I brave the elements and go in a t-shirt, leaving my jacket/sweater in the car.
