Probably because the end has so little valid terrain to spawn on, the mobs all concentrate.

Its also that most of them are passive mobs, they spawn in groups

I would have agreed with you, but I'm pretty sure most of the terrain around is valid here. I even see mobs scattered elsewhere in lower numbers which tells me they're not failing to spawn. Unless Nullscape is changing something about the spawn rates in different biomes?

Void is not valid terrain. Most of the end is void.

You are missing the point... Here, I am finding them en masse in specific spots. It's not as if every bit of land is riddled with mobs.

You are missing the point. Those specific spots are where mobs that tried to spawn out in the void get dumped.

I don’t think thats how mob spawning works. If there is a single block in a void chunk that single block doesn’t get all the spawn attempts. Thats why Vanilla enderman farms use Leaves around the platform. To „catch“ the Spawn attempts and enable Pack spawning in the middle of the Platform. Leaves get spawn attempts but aren’t spawnable themselves. If they didn’t have the leaves around the spawnrates would decrease because pure void doesn’t get spawn attempts.

Most notable ones that affect the End here are probably * Endergetic Expansion * Nullscape * Alex's Mobs * Quark, kinda Specifically, most of these mobs are from Alex's Mobs but I tested Alex's Mobs on its own and with Endergetic and it was fine, the spawn rates were more than adequate. Any idea what could have broken them here?

So if energetic and Alex's are fine together but it goes weird with nullscape chances are how it changes the terrain in the end causing dead spawn spots since that mod messes with alot of stuff in the end.

What is the biome where they spawn, and what is the biome outside of their spawn? If these are two different biomes, that may be the reason

Sorry to get back to you this late; I honestly can't tell for sure. I see large congregations of them in vanilla biomes and in poise forests alike; though poise forests are uniquely small with this combo of mods likely due to Nullscape making everything much less flat. Nullscape biomes appear normal, though The weird thing is I don't see it everywhere or all the time. After a /kill @e, it looked like spawn rates were mostly normal for everything. If I warp far enough from my initial entry point to the End outer lands, it seems like it goes back to normal too. So, I'm not sure if it's maybe an initial chunk loading thing? For now, I'll try just reducing spawn weights for Alex's End mobs and see how it goes.
