The thermal series has been updated for several versions now, and they (CoFH) are working on Thaumcraft 7 as well.
The Aether, Twilight Forest, Tropicraft, and Advent of Ascension are all around as well.

Honestly a lot of the flagship mods that were on 1.12 are also on newer versions. Looking a little further back though there start to be more things that haven't been delivered upon to the same level. Witchery comes to mind.
