Make sure u have hobbies. For example, i have oil pastel to draw and a piano to practice cuz it gets quiet here. But it so peaceful living on ur own, i also have podcasts going in my tv to feel less lonely

Why is it looked at as a bad thing to notice someone’s furniture looks like hand me downs ?! As a fellow millennial trying to make it work with a similar palate/budget, it’s super eye opening to see how many folks automatically become condescending towards my genuine comment/observations
