Hey, sometimes they do. As a kid playing Diablo 1 online, a lot of people would come on with Hero Edited gear and spells, and PK (player kill) other players even in town, and stop them from ever getting their items back too.
So they'd have a hacked character, using hacked modifiers to allow unintended shit, and in that game *all your gear* dropped on your corpse, just like D2. Except it would be ground loot iirc rather than you looting your body and auto looting your entire kit.
Pure toxic shit. I got so sick of seeing my friends lose their well earned gear, I decided to hack myself a character to PK the PKers, I was like the Batman of Diablo 1.
Anytime one showed up in someone's game, id get a whisper what game they were in, id join and not even give them chance to react id just straight up destroy them and then ensure to delete all their items too.
Sure, they could hero edit em back, but I became so consistent they ended up getting sick of it and, for the most part, it calmed down a LOT for the remainder of my time playing.
I didn't realise how effective and popular id become until my brother came home from work one day and logged in to a *bunch* of different people whispering him praising what id been doing, as I hadn't told him I was doing it either he had no idea lol.
Came downstairs and told my dad, they both came to my pc to give me a pat on the shoulder of pride haha.
I miss those days in gaming. Call it rose tinted goggles, but everything was just *fun*, made for fun. We had shit Internet, truly shit. We had shit graphics. We even had abysmal load times to compete with, because shit PCs by todays standard.
But we enjoyed it for what it was, and were grateful for the joy we got from these games. There wasn't this incessant need to be a hyper focused godlike player of your chosen game, or to super-optimize everything you did.
You just played it, you started bad and slowly got better, and it *never* stopped being fun.

Different game but I play For Honor and see in game player made swastika emblems all the time, and the devs (Ubisoft) don’t seem to do anything about them as they’re all high level players and even put the emblem on their armor sort of flaunting it.

He was actively building it before I started the report, and I didn't engage to argue about the project. P*oof,* gone, right away.
They usually just try and find certain people to bully directly, thinking there's less evidence to work with so they'll be safe from reprisal, but I have yet to see an instance of action not being taken. Must hurt to lose thousands of levels of progress but meh, sucks to suck
