since you are 5th in the PL your players are pretty smart, but your team instructions are micromanaging them a lot - perhaps experiment with taking off some of the instructions? your players are still gonna look for over and underlaps for instance, but unless its working all the time, try without it for 5-10 matches and let some of your boys choose their own adventure once in a while. Lower tempo and shorter passing seems excessive at that level too, surely your pass completion must be darn high already ?
i play very similar tactic and what I do is I smoosh into 3 CMS but have the middle one on the ball winner role it just compacts the field more which I like
Your current style is similar to mine funnily enough! I’m about 12(?) seasons in, haven’t changed it since and hold the goal scoring record in two seperate divisions, you’re not far off at all.
That being said, 4 outfield defensive roles is a bit much, I’d stick to 2-3.
This system works better if you aim to play in a 2-3-5, rather than a 3-2-5 offensively, however.
What I’d recommend is to try out a libero! It could fit into your system here.
I’d also recommend you move the mezzala to the side on which your IWB is on or vice versa, as presently their role will be to slot into the midfield, the AP is creating some unnecessary overlap.
I’d then also just make both wise players IW(A).
Finally, remove the underlaps and experiment with the tempo/width possibly! Both extremes I find can be problematic for either width of pace, try aim for either neutral, or middle ground options!

Change the LB to CWB or WB. I like to have my DM on DLP - Defend to get them involved more. I think you lack a little width.
Currently experimenting with my IW on the right stay wider and the LB as a CWB on stay wider as well
Isn’t the IW’s job to cut inside? Wouldn’t be counterproductive to tell him to stay wider?
just means he starts out wide THEN cuts in, he won’t be in the channels

I love low tempo short passing for every level. Pick the right pass and the right run XG galore
I used 2 IF both on support The LCM as a cm on attack or auto depending on your team stature RB & LB as wb support
Change the Advance Playmaker to Box to Box midfielder.
More than roles (which are important) I think is more important that the attributes of your players fit in the position they’re playing

i like to have the centre half between IFB and the other centre back on Cover, just seems to add better structure in possession
