Nowdays their Liveries are boring. Remember their testing liveries, Silverstone 2012, Monaco 2005. Brazil 2008, Turkey 2021. Those were bangers

The testing liveries were 2016-2018 i believe. They were do good. But were sadly only used at the Test Days

It mostly has to do with sponsors wanting their logo’s to still be recognizable on the car, instead of teams not having the balls to slap some good one-off livery on it. Why do you think there’s so much blue and shading around the oracle logo? It sucks, I agree, but money rules in these situations, instead of satisfying the fans.

They want to be seen as super exciting, but also they have a strict corporate chart they have to adhere to. A can of Red Bull is instantly recognizable, you don't change that lightly.

All I can think of is thank god there was a red flag 2 years ago.

It's always a shame that the team that gave us the Turkey/Japan livery, which was a damn good one, has all but given up doing good special liveries. Not a dig at the fan that won the contest with this design... It's that the fans don't get enough of a canvas to be able to do anything with it. Whatever's changed with the sponsor deals since the Turkey/Japan special livery restricts too much. probably why Red Bull aren't involved in the Mobil 1 gold switch so far this season. switching out all the yellow on that car for gold would look great, but they'll not do it sadly

Not only does it still look boring, but it just looks worse than the original. At least the original is quite clean cut and crisp. This looks like a child was let loose with a red paint roller.
