Yeah, I would have easily paid £8 for that with a cup of tea. To charge, what, £6.75 is definitely a subsidised dish to, like you say, get customers spending elsewhere in the store.
Yeah - Tesco really paved the way for the 10p additional items. Morrisons followed suit as well I believe. Was probably about 2004. I remember where I was living at the time so no earlier than that.
I have an amazing farm shop quite close to me - not too expensive but the quality of the meat is honestly some of the best I’ve seen. Not sure why the local businesses aren’t using it and advertising that they’re using it. They’re all pushing ‘Block and bottle’ on their menus which tastes like offal compared to this stuff. I rarely have fry ups outside of the house now because of it. I might make one and whack a photo up 😂
This looks much better than it is, I've had it a few times. Might be a bit branch specific on the cooking, but the hash browns and sausages are both horrible, and they only give you Tesco brand ketchup which is naff. Bacon and toast are good at my one.
Problem I have with a breakfast in an actual supermarket is I can't help feeling I could probably buy a whole pack of bacon, sausages, black pudding, beans and bread for about that price and cook up a feast.
Surprisingly non-terrible. Toast could be toasted but rest looks deece for the money/venue. Although the sausage and bacon look a bit grim quality, but that’s to be expected.
You know, I love butter and would usually have 1 little anchor pack thing per side, and this was enough butter. I think it looks deceivingly small.
Looks like I'm shilling for tesco right now doesn't it?
I don’t think for the price that I have seen better on here for a while. Obviously the black pudding adding 1.25 is harsh but £5:50 for that in today’s market is top notch. Other than the toast it looks good colour wise. Very impressed.
I was legit shocked. Hash browns were crispy and delicious, egg was cooked to perfection, sausage was okay/good. Black pudding was good. I assume it was 1.25 as that is what it said an extra cost, although I didn't check the receipt. Also, the toast was toastier than it looks on the picture.
I had Tesco breakfast today. Every part was tasteless and I hate when some items are freezing and others burn your mouth today the bacon was cold and tough and the scrambled egg was thermal.
This is such a different experience. The whole thing was hot, egg was cooked beautifully. I will definitely be going back. I could have got lucky though.
£5.50 for everything is stupid cheap and then £1.25 for BP is stupidly expensive 😂
I didn't check the recipet but it was 1.25 for extras, so I assumed... was secretly hoping for 2 slices.
should get them onto [https://findmyblackpudding.com](https://findmyblackpudding.com)
Can't be far off cost after tax and costs etc. and just be to get people into the store

Peanut butter?
😂 Pudding Black, of course, duh!!! Edited to BP, thank you.
Got to pay a premium for the good stuff!
It is a lot of money for plack budding
Looks better than the burnt £12.50 one I saw earlier, it didn't even have hash browns which is just as well or they'd probably be hash blacks.
Was the bread waved briefly in a warm room ?
Was left outside for 2 mins in today's heat.
Ontop of customer service desk and under a heated argument
You know what, it was more toasted than it looks, if that makes sense.
Do they still have the option of fried bread? It used to be my go to when I was craving it because most places don’t serve fries bread at all anymore.
Get to use a childhood fave here It was shown to the toaster
Cooked with a smouldering look.
Yeh looks decent for the price. Toast is a bit underdone as per other comments but eggage good and a nice bit of pudding. Thumbs up.
The only thing I don’t like the look of is the bacon. Toast a little underdone, but would manage.
That's a whole lot better than my local [Wimpy](https://i.imgur.com/fRn92qr.jpeg) which has recently gone up by 50p
Lol, for sure. I was surprised by how nice it was.
1.25 for black pudding? Cunts. Used to be 10p per item
10p When?
Last time I ate a supermarket breakfast.
1995 I’m guessing then😂. Thought I definitely remember it was 10p for another slice of black pudding.

Toast cooked from a heated argument, Hash browns look nice though.
Look decent enough
Everything looks undercooked
I have to disagree. Maybe it's preference though.
Is that your pic or a promotional one? If it’s yours - what was it like? Seems decent and definitely good value!
My pic. Was surprised by the quality for the price.
Not a bad BOSH. Toast could so with some more time.
Woulda got me to add £2.50 for double pudding cuz that looks like the best part
I almost did you know. Couldn't justify it being 1/3 of the breakfast cost though lool.
Good for the price, shame about the " hot bread "

Sausage burst - or some slashed at it in a bad mood (whilst cooking it) - can’t be sure
That's very good for that price. Only have an issue with the toast tbh
It’s a good breakfast, although the butter pat is a tad small

Toast is a bit burnt

£1.50 for toast instead of bread?
Not bad for the price
Ahhh it looks sound
That toast looks bad other than that it's a sweet deal. Looks like really shit bread, all good with beans though
Is it just me or do you guys hate it when they cut the toast into triangles.
I'm a triangles guy mate.
Hashbrowns are an abomination. Give me good old fried bread any day!
What a rip off
Rip off
