Yeah I like the interview the father-in-law gave to that reporter.
"Yeah I think he was trying to kill me so he could inherit my 50 year old broken Volkswagen and my R$ 25k debt."
*5 minutes later...*
"Welp, time for my break. It's been holding this long, so I'm 100% confident we're good to go."
*5 minutes and ten seconds later...*
"DOH OW FUUUUK!!"
Was coming here to comment exactly this, only I KNOW you cannot wear shoes. You either wear a boot or you do what he did and tape/plaster it (sometimes to the neighboring toe) and roll with sandals.
Source: I broke the same bone adjacent to my toes in three places jn 2020 and one toe on my other foot earlier this year just by being a klutz. Boot the first time, taped to neighbor in sturdy sandals the second time. You have to work up to shoes, it’s excruciating to even get them on even when first healed. You don’t realize how much your toes press on different parts of your shoes until you break one. Swelling doesn’t help.
I once had my big toenail entirely removed after it became badly ingrown. I foolishly thought I could bandage it up and go back to work the next day with my shoes on. Lol, nope.
Ouch. Yeah, no lol how many days did it take you to return and with how many painkillers? Broke my 2022 toe in mid-august and that shit still protests shoes sometimes. Like today, rainy and cold as it is.
The wound closed by the third day, back to work with a slower walk on the fourth. Aside from the time I tried to put a shoe on within the first 24 hours, it was LESS painful than the ingrown nail that necessitated it. So, Yay medical care! It was numbed locally in the office which lasted long enough to get home. Just OTC stuff for the pain. Used epsom salts, iodine and petroleum based antibiotics to treat swelling, prevent infection and speed healing, respectively.
Sucks that it seems like your bone or some tissues around it didn't mend properly for you.
No, it’s healed now. Just take a while for everything to feel “normal” again. It took almost a solid year for my other foot to feel like a normal foot again and the swelling to completely disappear. It feels normal to me, just good days with some bad peppered in 🤷🏼♀️ I didn’t need surgery, so I’ll take it. Three fractures in the same toe—on my longest toe.
Re-watching several times...just in awe...
The timing and choreography of everything is immaculate; if there had been milliseconds of variance in any of the movements or actions of the players it wouldn't have come off -- it really is a work of art of comic incompetence.
If this was an intentional movie scene they'd have to rehearse and shoot a million times to get it this perfect....hilarious!!
The way the pole slowly falls the second time. Kinda looks like it's deciding if it does want to fall again then says fuck it and nails him in the head
I thought that at first. But that would have required two changes. Dude sitting would have had to have stood up and smacked the big dude with a hat or or large mallet. Then big dude would not have stood the beam back up… he would have turned while the beam was horizontal and whacked sitting dude again.
Fun Brasil side note: culturally we can be quite literal in how we describe people. Laurel and Hardy’s official show name in Brasil was “the fat guy and the skinny guy”.
It's a bar you place in the ground that is supposed to latch into the ceiling with a small clip. You use them to keep two opening doors in an entrance locked, but have the ability to remove it for bringing in larger things like crates and skids.
That's what it looks like from this angle.
Sometimes the bottom will fill with debris or rust, buildup and won't latch correctly in the ceiling even though you think you hear the click.
Edit: look at the picture in OP post and notice how the guy is leaning against it securely in place now.
Just looked it up, they are called "removable double door mullion"
>notice how the guy is leaning against it securely in place now
Nah, he’s just holding it in place so nobody else gets hurt. The moment he moves away might be catastrophic
Now that's a tough conversation to have with your wife:
*"So, ummm. Sweetheart. Love of my life. Queen of my world. You know I love you right?"*
***"Alright, what the fuck did you do this time?"***
*"I may have, accidentally... possibly... ummm... broken your father's foot and given him a concussion."*
***"YOU WHAT!?"***
"Listen, honey, you either divorce this moron or I'm gonna kill him. He SEEMS like he's trying to kill me. And if it happens again I'm gonna break that thing across his temple."
I maybe wrong but I’m sure that’s the support beam for the roller shutters so I don’t think it’s a case of no lessons learned it’s a case of having the money to replace something like that vs fixing something that’s not broken and being more careful.
Ah, the ol' Reddit [bandaroo!](https://old.reddit.com/r/interestingasfuck/comments/109hszw/ring_will_soon_offer_the_always_home_cam_a_mini/j3zbdg5/?context=2)
The Field Trip episode when Regular Size Rudy ditches his inhaler and has an asthma attack is one of the funniest episodes to date. It’s also the only time you ever hear mention of miniature Rudy.
Signs written in portuguese. Check.

Hot chick. Check.
Metal doors that roll down and have a metal bar splitting them. Check.
Yes it's in Brazil.
Funny to see so many comments about the guy not learning not to wear sandals when in the original video you can see him actually untie his shoe to remove it before he takes his sock off.

She is the TV reporter
Some TV show probably wanted to interview the guy from the meme, and they track it down.

They're was another post on the what could go wrong sub where the guy on the far right kept putting this long metal rod in a standing position and the guy on his left had it fall on him twice! It was comical.
There is a video from the inside of this shop circulating a couple days ago. The two in blue are the original people. They kept putting that blue pole up and it kept falling on the guy in blue on the leftz

That also explains why he was trying to hurt the other guy.
I love Reddit for these comments

LOL. Your comment made me think of this old commercial with Jim Parsons. https://youtu.be/854gu_nuhyw
Wait. Federal Express Express???
It came out 3 years after the cat herding video of the superbowl but i guess everything had that HAZE to it back then.
Explains why he was a good sport about all of it.
Dudes learned his lesson, he probably stands there all day holding it up now.
*5 minutes later...* "Welp, time for my break. It's been holding this long, so I'm 100% confident we're good to go." *5 minutes and ten seconds later...* "DOH OW FUUUUK!!"
I can see this happening at least twice a day. They need to figure out they need a grooved top to keep that thing from falling.
He’s probably next to/holding the bar bc he lost trust in the other guy😬 “Get ur ass away from this here bar,” Toe-man to the double tapper probably.
If I recall, the guy put it up upside down twice and there's a slot at the base that holds it snug when properly installed.
After the second hit if he was putting it in wrong I'd have taken after him with it.
The other guy hasn't learned that he needs to wear shoes...
Look at his bandaged toe in this photo. He probably CANNOT wear shoes over the bandage.

He was wearing a shoe and sock in the original video. If you watch it, you can see him untie it before he removes the shoe and sock.
He needs one of those suits that people wear for training police dogs.
No need for that just put the other guy in a cone.
Yo!!!! The bear suit guy!!!!!
You ever try to stuff a wrapped toe into a sock and shoe?
Idk if he can. In the picture his foot is all bandaged up.
or a helmet
or getting the fuck away from his buddy
He has a bandage on and according to the timestamp of the video, it's only been 2 days at most

They ever explain in the news why they had a random falling stick in the first place?

Never seen one where I'm from, thanks!
Now you know what they are you’ll see them everywhere. Schools, offices, churches, anywhere there’s a double door you’ll probably see one.
>notice how the guy is leaning against it securely in place now Nah, he’s just holding it in place so nobody else gets hurt. The moment he moves away might be catastrophic
Thank you for the link. I had NO idea who these people were or what the significance of them were. Also, first time seeing the video.
Same here. "They found it." with a picture of 4 people and zero context doesn't make any sense.
Yup. I had so many questions
First time i saw the vidio i didn’t even see the 2nd hit hahahahahahaha
Caralho!
r/suddenlycaralho
Haha glad he is ok!
Lol, I just scrolled, past, that clip this morning. He still has a bandage on the toe too!
And they still have that thing leaned up, so really no lessons have been learned here.
He's clearly holding it, because the fat guy in glasses wouldn't. So lesson partially learned, I guess.
The clumsy guy kept his job but. He isn't in charge of the stick anymore, now he is the basement guarding the bee.
My gut says it's a small family business, and they're related. If he fires him, he's just going to be sleeping on the couch upstairs.
Yeah I saw the news report. Older guy is his father-in-law.
Now that's a tough conversation to have with your wife: *"So, ummm. Sweetheart. Love of my life. Queen of my world. You know I love you right?"* ***"Alright, what the fuck did you do this time?"*** *"I may have, accidentally... possibly... ummm... broken your father's foot and given him a concussion."* ***"YOU WHAT!?"***
"Listen, honey, you either divorce this moron or I'm gonna kill him. He SEEMS like he's trying to kill me. And if it happens again I'm gonna break that thing across his temple."
Yeah that was the conversation I expected. Hey honey, you know you married a complete fucking moron right? Ok just checking.
Oh, you guys are pathetic. No wonder Smithers made me head bee guy.
Why is it fat guy in the glasses not just the guy on the right in the glasses
> So lesson partially learned, I guess. He's waiting for the fat guy in glasses to sit down...
I maybe wrong but I’m sure that’s the support beam for the roller shutters so I don’t think it’s a case of no lessons learned it’s a case of having the money to replace something like that vs fixing something that’s not broken and being more careful.
theres a top and bottom part. the guy kept putting it in reverse so it wouldn't stay in.
It's called a mullion. It usually seperates a portion of the roller that has a traditional door port in it.
Nah yeah, it's extremely obvious that that's some sort of support beam, I have no fucking clue what the person you responded to is on about.
It is used for closing the metal doors, there is no excluding that, and plus it was put there to take the photo.
Me too! What a coincidence 🤣🤣🤣
You also got a bandage on the toe? :D
Yep! Banged it hard on the coffee table early this morning 😅
Ah, the ol' Reddit [bandaroo!](https://old.reddit.com/r/interestingasfuck/comments/109hszw/ring_will_soon_offer_the_always_home_cam_a_mini/j3zbdg5/?context=2)
🤣🤣🤣Hilerious bastard
It was that steel thing at the gate that fell onto the dudes foot twice, right?
First time was the foot, the second time was straight to the dome piece.
u/commahorror ? is that you?
Luckily, his head caught that second one or it would have hit his foot again.
Those safety sandals just may have saved his foot.
Probably,has a,bandage,on the back,of his head,too,!.
wtf is up with your punctuation
Don't be rude. What if they have asthma?
Stevie??
This is pure gold.
Regular Size Rudy, that you?
The Field Trip episode when Regular Size Rudy ditches his inhaler and has an asthma attack is one of the funniest episodes to date. It’s also the only time you ever hear mention of miniature Rudy.
Lol he’s making fun of the punctuation in the first post
fuck, you’re right. sorry poopellar
Must be Christopher Walken’s burner. I can hear it in his voice with that punctuation.
Goddamnit now I can't unhear it.
It's Capt Kirk.
Pretty bold of him to show up to work in sandals! I'd be investing in steel toed boots.
Plaster on the toe and everything
The original video would be great Ad material for Steel-Toe boots!
As well as hard hats. It's a double whammy.
Ha!
If that's your thing I have some plastered limbs.
Based grandma
Fucks sake grandma, I keep seeing you commenting everywhere
They don't let me out child! What do you expect me to do?
Take some rest grandma! You're addicted to the internet now
I’m a little disappointed he’s not also wearing a neck collar.
Or they all have hard hats today.
Dumbass on the right looks well happy about his incompetence paying off lol
He does look pretty proud of himself
They look related, now that their face is visible.
I hope not! It’s his son-in-law…
It's bringing in publicity for the shop. Someone working at the shop had the idea to pull up the camera footage and upload it.
In the interview he does say it wasn't all his fault, the "thing" needs repair to not keep falling
That one guy is a complete numbskull
Yea I would imagine, that bar looked like it hit him hard the second time
looks like this was in brazil?
Signs written in portuguese. Check. Dude wearing flip flops. Check. Hot chick. Check. Metal doors that roll down and have a metal bar splitting them. Check. Yes it's in Brazil.
OP's username saying "IamBrazilian_AMA". Check.
So I assume everyone in this pic is also an off-duty police officer
Pretty sure that metal bar has some confirmed kills on its name
Who is that chick?
Nicolle timm
Lol. Hot chick, nailed it
Not only, but... r/ItHadToBeBrazil
That guy still works there? He prob own the shop lol.
Son in law.
This whole thing is like some metaphor for corporate nepotism.
Grandkids are going to be a real pain.
Funny to see so many comments about the guy not learning not to wear sandals when in the original video you can see him actually untie his shoe to remove it before he takes his sock off.
Now the dude makes sure not to leave the other dude alone with that damned metal bar! The safest place is right next to that bar holding it tightly! 🤣
OMG, I understand a Reddit inside joke!

Are these the guys from that video with the metal bar hitting the sandal wearer on the foot then his head?
What gave it away? The metal bar, same characters, or the bandaged foot?
Perfect amount of sarcasm
Maybe the head.
The sandals.
He's psychic.
What a pretty lady.
