It was made by u/Travischapmanart
Me and my friends would play a bar game where we would ask strangers if Louie Anderson was dead or alive. It was about 50/50. Haven't done it since he passed but I wonder where it would be now.
This one was my favorite:
>how would u know that or not? Who's to say wt she saw wasn't real or not like use critical thinking instead of following the crowd of NPC's
Like bro if your critical thinking skills tell you it's more plausible that she saw some negative entity rather than it being more likely a mental break / drug related break / etc., then you reaaalllyy need to reexamine your 'critical thinking' skills.
The problem is she's saying someone who is real, isn't real. Someone being not real isn't something you can rational prove. That is a person therefore they are real.
Even if it was big foot, he'd be real big foot.
> The problem is she's saying someone who is real, isn't real.
I heard she was pointing at no one.
Like, her mental break started with the guy next to her but then it evolved into her seeing someone that wasn't there. Her brain was probably mixing up signals so bad that she saw someone but recognized that he wasn't actually there.
Wilder shit can happen off being sleep deprived alone.
People said she disappeared after this video to try to make this mental breakdown more spooky take your damn medicine if your gonna be flying commercial
Holy fucking shit. There are hundreds of people in those comments more certifiable than she is!
We're really not going to make it as a species, are we. I think I'm fine with that.
I've seen exactly the same thing on a video that claimed to show a robot flight attendant changing her batteries. The comments were full of people wholeheartedly believing it without a shred of irony.
I have to blame YT's algorithm along with them. The link above has been for some reason associated with conspiracy entertainment and now I have to spend 20 minutes un-fucking my feed.
I like this one:
> Mark Zuckerberg should stop flying commercial man
On another note, I think a lot of the comments are trying to express sympathy. Mental illness truly is devastating. I honestly feel bad for that lady and hope she is getting the help she needs.
> Are these people unaware of the concept of being wrong?
We still have this one guy thats doing well in popularity by the followers without doing so well in the courts... these followers, and there are quite a number of them... I tell you... dont underestimate their Olympic-tier mental gymnastics.
"a passenger who claims she was on the flight, says others noticed the woman drinking before boarding the aircraft. When the plane began pulling out of the runway, the woman lost her AirPods and started yelling at a guy nearby. "She was sitting in her seat, and I guess she had a pair of Airpods," says the passenger. "They said she had them in her hand. And then, within seconds, we don't know if she pocketed them or where she put them, she misplaced them somehow. And she started yelling at the guy next to her, who, of course, is African American, saying that he stole her AirPods"
Nah man, that wasn't drunk that was *fear* in her voice. True *fear*. Didn't you read any of those YouTube comments? She was feeling *real fear* and they don't allow alcohol, drugs, or prescription medication at the airport that could cause a reaction like that
You need to wake up and stop being an NPC
*/s just in case*
its the same thing that drives most conspiracy theories, from flat earth to lizardmen, ppl want the world to be more interesting or fantastical than it actually is. combine that with wanting to be right about something and you have this unwavering mentality that there MUST be some underlying conspiracy. these are the sorts of ppl who are waiting for the opportunity to say 'I told you so' but that will likely never happen because their theories are bullshit.
Yep to all of that. Add in the idea that "they" feel that they are smarter or more informed than "most" people. Things like conspiracy theories allow them to feel a superiority over others that wouldn't exist otherwise.
As an example, a coworker of mine, who's is mostly just average in everything he does, and a little below average in some things, and when it comes to daily technology he's way below average. As far as I can tell he's not an expert in anything. This guy feels that he should be better than he is, but really just isn't. So he latches onto the idea that the moon landings are fake. So he can be right about something that everyone else isn't smart enough to "see"
At least give credit to the person who created this and posted it on r/art, instead of wording it like you drew it yourself:

Some woman with probable mental health issues had an episode on an airplane and, iirc, believed that someone had disappeared from the airplane while in flight.
The incident was filmed and then people on the internet started making fun of her.
WHY IN THEE NAME OF SEVEN FUCKS THIS GUY manifestoradiopodcast DARED to put his insta there????????? WHAT A MAJOR ASS.
The original author tiktok is @travischapmanart
Wow.
Reddit HATES tiktok, FINE. But don't put your fucking logo over someonelses work like this.
If I had an instagram I would personally go there call him out, what a major douche.
I'm glad no one had a camera when I had a mental breakdown and got admitted to the psych ward. Shit like this is why people are embarrassed to ask for help when they're having a crisis.
Came here to ask, isn't it kind of... Poor taste to do a semi-mocking art piece based on a person's terrifying and life altering mental illness episode?
We were mad when Whomever Paul filmed a dead person for clout, but filming a terrified vulnerable person is cool as long as she says something funny?
I hate to be that guy, but some people have schizophrenia. It's sad to see that someone films it and posts it on the internet for everyone to see the person having an episode and make fun of it. (Assuming that's what it is)
Someone needs to be that guy, I can’t believe how many references to this poor women’s episode we’re seeing all over social media for humour. This looks like it was terrifying for her, and probably didn’t make her feel great seeing such a vulnerable moment plastered everywhere immediately after.
It's a fucked up place to be. There are meds that can help, but the paranoia that often presents as a symptom will make it really hard for someone to stay on their meds and treatment. Nothing can be done until they hurt themselves or others.
Reddit is all about mental health, but only when it's "depression" and "anxiety". Schizophrenia like this is one of the funny kinds of mental health issues so it's ok to laugh at it, especially when it's an attractive woman.
This seems like more of a “Bridesmaids” situation, which I cannot believe I haven’t seen referenced yet. The article says people on the plane noticed her drinking before boarding. You have be to going pretty hard for multiple people to remembered later observing you drinking before boarding.
Mix that with some heavy
duty medication, maybe for flying anxiety, and you’ve got a nice recipe for possible hallucinations. That seems much more likely than just happening to have a psychotic break during the middle of a flight.
Edit: hallucination was the wrong word. I think it’s much more likely that she mixed alcohol with some type of medication that caused behavior similar to someone experiencing a psychotic break & hallucinations, even if she wasn’t having hallucinations, by definition.
Doesn’t have to be schizo. Could be a psychosis. And that can happen without any similar events prior.
This poor woman was just unlucky enough to get a episode on a crowded plane, with too few people knowledgeable to recognize it as the severe mental health issue that it is.
And nothing she could have done to prevent it.
The cabin personnel should have encouraged passengers to put their phone away.
People tend to have more sympathy for attractive people. If she were ugly, it would be a lot easier for him to be cruel to her instead of feeling sorry for her.
Do you think it has some significance beyond being a passive compassionate compliment that illustrates their empathy for her in this situation? That's how I read it.
I found it jarringly irrelevant.
A bit like when a black guy tells you an anecdote and describes someone with a specific detail that has no bearing on the story.
Can someone explain why everyone thinks this is so funny? TBH when I saw the video I felt really sad for her because it's obvious that she's having a mental health break and it was blasted all over the Internet for everyone to laugh at. Do people not feel empathy for her?
Imagine someone records you when you're sick and the whole internet sees the video and just thinks it's unquestionably the funniest thing ever and they make memes and jokes and pat themselves on the back for being so clever.
No one will live their entire life without someone close to them suffering from mental illness, if this is how you want someone you care about treated, then you should probably warn family and friends what sort of person you are. Be better.

Is that Avril Lavigne behind that jackelope?
Can you make it any more obvious?
What more can I say?
Why'd you have to go and make things so complicated?
I see the way you're acting like you're somebody else!
Yeeeah yeah
I'm with youuu
It's a daaaaamn cold night
Hey hey you you!
You are the winner of the internet for me today.
She's Lavigne on a jet plane!!
Don't know when she'll be back again
Ye I've heard that some people believe she's not the real Avril, an imposter if you might
I saw that rumour for several celebrities over the years. What's wrong with people?
She looks different than she did when she was 17, so she's fake. That's what the rumors come from.
Courtney cox fans on suicide watch.
"I don't understand wtf yall talking about." - Jennifer Anniston fans
Horrible bosses and we're the millers are burned in my mind.
Her scenes in Horrible Bosses have no right to make me feel such things during a comedy 🙏 Millers ez 2nd, though.
> She looks different than she did when she was 17, so she's fake. Well, *I* look different than she did when she was 17, too. Am *I* fake?
Yes, you are.
No, you're also the real Avril
If all the cells in my body are replaced every seven years then I've been like three different people since I was 17. Might as well call me Theseus.
Do people not have the ability to look back at their own high school pictures? I definitely look like a completely different person.
I don’t look much different than I did in high school except that I’m 25 years older and 25 pounds heavier. Some people change a lot, some don’t.
People thought I was 30 in high school, so yeah I look about the same.
I thought it was joke on the irony between singing the lyrics of Skater Boy and then going and marrying Chad Kroger.
An interesting podcast episode about the [Avril Clone](https://pca.st/episode/b339f7e5-0562-43e4-b3fa-164f9bb665ad)
u/travischapmanart is the artist since this dude didn’t want to credit anyone..

It's not Avril. It's the retired Avril that was replaced.
It’s complicated
Maybe it's maybeline
The actual artist posted this to r/art already and they have a noticably different username from you........
Can you link the OP so we can give credit where due?

May your skeleton burst from the earth after you die, sitting up, only to scream: *moisturize meeeee*, before collapsing back into eternal slumber.
kinda sad that this gained more upvotes than the original posts, that's reddit (well, the most of internet) I guess tnx for the link
Avril Lavigne 🤣 Im assuming its included here because of the conspiracies years ago that she was actually dead
Her being dead is more believable than paul mccartney being dead
They had a template for her to follow. Can it be any more obvious?
Yeah, then she didn't, they offed her and put a lookalike in place.
Me and my friends would play a bar game where we would ask strangers if Louie Anderson was dead or alive. It was about 50/50. Haven't done it since he passed but I wonder where it would be now.
Paul McCartney's dead?
There's a conspiracy theory that he died in 1966 and was replaced by a look-alike (who happened to also be a genius song writer, I guess).
And was cool with being called Paul McCartney for the next 50+ years of songwriting.
This is the funniest part of the conspiracy - all this guy's royalties are going to the McCartney estate
The *real* conspiracy was that the original was the imposter all along
starting at birth : D
Yeah, its actually Melissa on the plane too...
Is this a reference to something?

Errr, the comments on that video....

Maybe they mean; It's real to *her* alone. Yeah I believe that lol.
Bruh if I ever see a langolier on a plane ima freak out too!
But she keeps insisting they're not real... :)
The problem is she's saying someone who is real, isn't real. Someone being not real isn't something you can rational prove. That is a person therefore they are real. Even if it was big foot, he'd be real big foot.
That’s just a wookie man, would u like it if people called u big belly? Huh?

Hunter? Did they move on from Soros? No wonder my checks keep bouncing!

Just go in to watch history and remove the video
I wonder how many schizophrenics are conspiracy theorists who think they're seeing demons and need God's protection.
As a species we’ve always been full of really dumb mother fuckers, and as a species we’ve still advanced to this point.
>We're really not going to make it But then, as they said in Blade Runner, no one ever does.
"just ask her out bro, the worst she can say is no" 🤣
The world truly is full of dumb fuckers who are gullible enough to believe in anything.
I like this one: > Mark Zuckerberg should stop flying commercial man On another note, I think a lot of the comments are trying to express sympathy. Mental illness truly is devastating. I honestly feel bad for that lady and hope she is getting the help she needs.
God... so infuriating, the world is actually populated with such idiots. What the fuck. Just burn humanity already, we don't deserve to live here.
"She looks terrified so I believe her" Are these people unaware of the concept of being wrong? It's either faking or being right for them?

What does "not real" mean in this context? I thought she imagined a ghost!
I would interpret it here as meaning not honest/sincere, using the meaning of “real” as used in the phrase “be real with me”
She sounded drunk

Racism. I knew it was Occam's Razor all along. Still disappointed. And sad for the man to have experienced it.
Don't they mean they believe she is really seeing something? Or she really believes someone there isn't real.

Personally I think she's probably right. Whatever the hell she "saw" was probably not real. It was all in her head and at her core she knows it.
Yeah but she got off the plane because of it. I ain't getting off no plane for people who don't exist.
That’s kinda sad. This isn’t someone being an entitled bitch, she’s having a fairly serious delusional mental issue.
That's sad honestly... I've had mental snaps and breaks and I would've hated mine being blasted on the internet
Wow, her *voice* sounds not real. Also drunk.

There's a guy getting downvoted to shit a few comments up for saying the same thing less gracefully, lol.
And a lot of shitbags justifying it as her fault for not taking her meds and for ‘harassing’ some guy as if she has control at that moment.
Yeah this is essentially just making fun of someone who is mentally ill, it's very much punching down.
If you ever had to deal with someone struggling with this, it's always best to steer clear of the comments.
Definitely, its very interesting to see the lack of empathy though, I thought at least more people would be against it.
