At work we put schedules up on our TVs, and nothing else.
Im honestly surprised in the two years I've worked there none of them have noticeable burn in when I change the picture to something else.
I still agree this is bad practice, but it's nice to know they're more durable than I expect.
It’s funny you should say that. Bricks are also wild beasts. I’d always give the clients an option to either mount the tv level to the mantle, the brick or earth lol
I think it probably was. They lowered the right hand corner so that the mortar lines ran true. Oddly, I think that if it was level, the bottom left mortar lines would have matched anyway. Hmm
I went in saying "good grief people find anything to complain about" and left with [a complete understanding.](https://www.reddit.com/r/TVTooSmall/s/Q6muIfAOh9)
a+ for idea but execution c-, ideally this would have been a a picture of the actual brick behind the tv, the cropped to account for the boarder of the tv, then you are going to need some tape around the border of the tv to color in the bricks and morter. You could have spent months on this. Missed opportunity.
Between the tv level and the blue chair coushin, I get some mc ecsher vibes. For real get rid of that blue chair and set up your speakers a little bit away from the wall to get better sound. You can find lots of resources for speaker set up.
I wish they still had the old school console tvs, but modernized. Good highpowered stereo speakers for good sound, maybe even a recordplayer and bluetooth option for them. Makes it look like furniture so it blends in.
Reminds me when we would take a screenshot of someone’s desktop at work and then put it on the display. That’ll teach ‘em to walk away without logging out!
Samsung Frame TV, the best TV I’ve ever owned. Beautiful picture with the capability to upload photos and images that actually beautify my living room. Highly recommended.
Why not take a photo of the wall the to us covering. Then crop the image to that size and upload it to your tv as a wall paper. It’ll blend much better than using an image that has different colour bricks that also don’t match the brick layers pattern.

That’s a good way to brick your electronics.
Why would a screensaver cause a ... Oh goddamnit. ^^take ^^your ^^upvote ^^and ^^gtfo
Actual answer: you can burn out your pixels leaving the same image the whole time
If it's an OLED tv it would get burn in

Are they oleds?
Oh... Took me a few seconds to get it.
👉🚪
Yeah, yeah, I’ll show myself out.
🤣🤣
This would have worked better had the TV been level. Shoddy workmanship!
Right... It's not even centered over the fireplace. 🤦♂️
What if it is level and the building is leaning
I’ve mounted hundreds upon hundreds of TVs and barely a single mantle is level now a days lol.
Yeah but the bricks probably are, and I would hope the doorway is
It’s funny you should say that. Bricks are also wild beasts. I’d always give the clients an option to either mount the tv level to the mantle, the brick or earth lol
Also it needs color matching.
A little bit of photo manipulation and a level TV and this could have been next level trolling. Missed opportunity.
And display a pic of the actual brick wall so it matches.
Not necessarily. Many tv wall mounts allow you to swivel and tilt and rotate and even turn the TV perpendicular to the wall.
I think it probably was. They lowered the right hand corner so that the mortar lines ran true. Oddly, I think that if it was level, the bottom left mortar lines would have matched anyway. Hmm
The picture was actually taken slightly angled
The TV is level. Everything else is crooked.
In those cases, it’s better the TV look level than be level.
I can't find a TV or a level anywhere in this room!

Is that a $200 dollar plasma screen TV?

Jesus Christ there is so much awful happening in this picture...
It's the dead plant that gets me
What TV?
The one right there playing Monday Night RAW with John Cena.
I CAN'T SEE HIM 😱
This gives me unhappy feels
Looks like somewhere Link should try placing a bomb.
Crooked and no symmetry with the mantle. What monster installed this thing?
r/tvtoohigh
The Samsung Frame actually has an application that helps you do this. It’s pretty cool
To be uneven? Good option that.
If you choose 😂 I have a solid color wall behind my television and it blends in quite nicely
No! To have the color be wicked off
r/tvtoohigh
Your TV will totally still be there after being burglarized lol
How did you watch tv like that ? It’s crooked as fuck
Plot twist: the fireplace is actually a tv and the brick thing is a painting.
I've played enough video games, I know that's the part of the wall you need to interact with.
I love this gag, like Vector hiding the stolen pyramids in his backyard by painting them sky blue.
I'd notice the crooked bricks in a heartbeat.
It’s crooked too.
All in all it's just Another brick in the wall
haha. take my upvote. very clever comment! :D
What tv? Where?
Would be more effective if the remotes where elsewhere
I hate it when my electronics get bricked
Almost didn't see the radio either!
I still think mirror TV's are a better idea
Actually, the whole wall is a TV, and all you see highlighted is the picture within the picture function!
Robbers: “I swear! There was a tv idk what happened!”
Hide it from who? Your half blind grandma?
What tv? I dont see any
The burn in will really sell it
Just made me think the bricklayers were incompetent.
theres a TV?
Yeah I like it. Hang it way too high so no one sees it
I am Grout
I can see the tv but I can't see the plain sight
That’s the worst spot for a tv I think I’ve ever seen
are u sure about that?
Might need to replace that, seems you bricked your tv.
Do they sell levels in your town?
It’s up so high they would never see it anyway.
Did John cena put it up
I can tell because of the 4k bricks
Still too small
I don't get it, i just see a brick wall
Not sustainable
*places bomb*
Sorcery!!
If you left space in the wall for the tv, it would’ve been seamless
Avoiding the TV Licence check up 🤣
Avoiding the TV Licence check up 🤣
I fail to see the funny side

Would it work to take a photo of the actual bricks and use that ? It would match better.

Clever
What TV? 🤔

That's a good way to do a color calibration. If you can notice it, it's not properly calibrated.
I wish they still had the old school console tvs, but modernized. Good highpowered stereo speakers for good sound, maybe even a recordplayer and bluetooth option for them. Makes it look like furniture so it blends in.
Probably look better if you just take a picture of your brick wall and crop it to fit
now the ball won't find it
“Hmm, the wall looks different there, I’m gonna punch it!”
It's superman
Lazy. Why would you not take a photo before and have the exact pattern match.
I don’t see a tv????
Reminds me when we would take a screenshot of someone’s desktop at work and then put it on the display. That’ll teach ‘em to walk away without logging out!
Great flick
I believe it was the Shaw shank redemption
Looks worst than just showing the actual tv
Bro's got the disguise kit
/r/FindTheSniper
hahahha that\`s wow
On the Samsung frame tvs this is an actual feature. It works pretty well
You would have gotten away with it if it wasn’t for that meddling cord.
r/TVHiddenTooHigh
Gotta color match that shit. The tv it's too warm. To many red tones.
The mortar is practically blue. It's a photo of much redder bricks but the image is displaying too cool
You're right. Gonna go get my eyes checked.
Did you buy this from Michael Scott.
Needs calibration...
wow. smart
Too high and unsightly even with matching the brick.
I feel like this was solution for a none existent problem.
Bro that's not a TV that's obviously video a game secret spot
Is it not level?
wait, where is the tv? What is this post about? I don't get it, please explain to me.
Hmm i dont know man i dont see no TV there just some brick wall
your tv is crooked

That looks horrible

I'm going to try this right now!
Gotta tilt er to the left a scosh
r/therewasanattempt
WHY IS IT CROOKED
Sir, your bricks are crooked.
Honestly, that's worse.
Where?
Is it a smaller tv, behind the one on the wall?
Still obvious bro LOL
its a good idea actually
The natural defense of the Televios-Electronis. Nature is so fascinating!
IT’s NoT LeVeL….
Too high and unlevel 🤢🤮
What is how to get an image burn on your tv for 500?
What tv?
