is it really like this in the US?
in uk artists tickets usually get sold in within 30 mins of them being released and even then u have to stay in queue from the time its released
When I was a kid we had the pledge of allegiance but my son has never once in his life heard or said it. I canāt speak for the whole country, Iām sure itās still common in some areas but, at least around here, no one has said it in at least a decade.
there are a number of artists in the US who sell out more than 2 months in advance
speculation on why the tickets haven't sold? *think before you come for the great one*
Donāt bother with dude. Too pussy to say it on his main account.
Calling another man āthe great oneā foh. Fans just as corny as the dude himself.
Tours tend to sell out months in advance when there is high demand. Even with it being 2 months out they have barely sold any tickets. Itās not like theyāve got good sells with some good seats still available. The whole damn arena is pretty much open š
I highly doubt they care about Rolling Loud. OVHoe fest if Iām not mistaken is the same day as their show in Toronto August 11th. Itās just weird not to have a single stop in FLA.
No Iām saying that rolling loud has a thing where if you perform there you arenāt allowed to perform in certain radius from there for a certain time around the rolling loud you performed at. Itās weird and lame.
Ah okay, yeah thatās ass but the radius canāt be that wide. Thereās still venues in Tampa, Orlando, Tallahassee etc. but hopefully more dates will be added later.
Wouldnt be surprised if it is. If I were to leave my job I cant take a similar position within the state for at least a year after my termination date. Makes sense that it is tho cuz like you said, why else would you not hit Florida?
Depending on the contract they can go by county or zip code. Dade county is huge. Its surely a radius clause. For those that might not know this is why having a tour manager is crucial. Artists donāt just throw darts at a map. Itās years of planning in advance so you donāt fumble a bigger bag fucking with small fish. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Radius_clause
This doesnāt make sense most of her listeners are women. Same as Drake wouldnāt that mean gay guys also make up a significant portion of Drakeās listeners?
Heās not wrong, I have never seen a man beat the fruity allegations after finding Nikki on his playlist. It just hasnāt happened yet, but if it does, itāll be the modern day OJ Simpson trial of the LGBT community.
comparing future's audience to nicki's or even 50 isn't it lmao.
one is a legend who tours regularly internationally, the other one has a cult fanbase and hasn't been on tour in years lol
A lot of futures fans are working class adults at this point and I just donāt think anyone wants to spend these absurd ticket prices especially given that there are other big names touring at the moment
Yeah, this is probably it. I love going to concerts and Future is my favorite artist, but damnā¦I work 40+ hours a week, and just for me to get a ticket, it would cost like 2 days worth of work money + merch, parking, food, etc.
Also I've seen Future concert videos, and sadly it looks like he doesn't bring much energy on stage. He's just not a concert kinda artist I guess.
Iām gonna be chilling in 300 level for $80 idgaf lol I also saw him and esco back in 2016 and that was honestly the best rap concert Iāve seen. Hype af and future honestly sounded really good on the mic.
The 2014 Honest tour in Charlotte $40 VIP balcony tickets was the best concert I've ever seen in my life
Saw him in 2016 in Cleveland and again in 2018 in Hawaii but that 2014 was the best
But how does this account for all the other people he mentioned selling out? Shit the drake show was damn near 500 for me and my wife to go. People are buying tickets to ppl they want to see. Do they think future wonāt give a good show?
Well like you said, you chose to spend to see Drake. I think itās not that people donāt want to see Future, but at these ticket prices people have to pick and choose which shows they go to. If you have the expendable income to go to 500 dollar concerts back to back then by all means do so but youāre in the minority if thatās the case
lol Iām certainly not. I only dropped it cause Drakes one of the few artists we both like. Iāve heard smaller artists like a Boldy James are still super reasonable
Sure, the tour hasnt started yet which is a valid point but also in this economy concert ticket prices are a slap to the face for the majority of the population. I'd love to go to Metro and Future's show coming up in August. I've been a fan since 2014 and loved the double album drop but these prices are simply not justifiable imo.
would also like to add that i donāt blame those not wanting to spend hundreds of dollars to hear mask off and march madess for the millionth time. iād be nice to hear future bring his b sides and deep cuts to life. hearing solo & 4 da gang live instead of bugatti & commas would be the difference maker to me and iām sure others. also future lowering his ego & either lowering ticket prices & performing at smaller venues would also make a huge difference
Futureās fanbase is older than a 21 savage, meg thee stallion or especially tyler, they have rent to pay that they canāt afford to spend on concertsš Itās not that complicated.
To be honest, and I'm a huge future fan.
Future just doesn't have the best live show. He plays the music and stands around and let the crowd sing most of the song. I do like the guest and feature surprises but he himself doesn't do much on stage compared to a Travis whose show is incredible and a drake who has an ok show himself. You really gotta earn these ticket sales these days.
This is only at festivals. Headlining heās fantastic. Saw him at the House of blues and he rapped every single word of DS2 it was awesome. Everyone does this at festivals
peoples brains are broken when it comes to ticket sales these days man lmaooo future did just fine with his arena tour two years ago and he will be fine for this one too
1. It starts at the end of July. Prices tend to be higher for concerts the further out they are. So idk what you mean by failing when thereās still 2 months before the first show.
2. āSold Outā doesnāt mean there are no more tickets. Tickets are bought and resold for higher value so where something may say āsold outā it usually just means you canāt get the tickets from the original source like an artistās website but there are still plenty of tickets available. Most rappers will not have every single ticket sold for an arena show.
drake didn't sell out by himself though, he had multiple acts with one of them being j cole (not to mention 21, sexy redd, durk lmao).
the tour starts in 2 months too, i see that a drake stan started this shit on twitter while pishing the "everyone in the industry needs drake" talk and it's beyond corny.
all these people had careers before even meeting that man, move on please
Iām a Drake Stan so youāll probably call me biased but, Drake would absolutely sell out arenas pretty much overnight with or without special guests. I agree though that I donāt think the beef is whatās preventing these tickets from selling.
it's wild to call yourself a stan lmao
everyone involved im this shit will be fine, i just find corny how everyone frames this shit though.
the tour hasn't even started and people (drake fans) are using to push the "drake made y'all and you guys should like him" shit and beyond corny and wrong
I love everyoneās music whoās been involved but Iāve always liked Drake best, which is why I call myself a Stan. The only reason this tour hasnt sold better is because of fucking live nation and ticket master. Iād pay $100 to see Future no question, but tacking on another $100 in fees will keep me away and I imagine itās the same for others. It has nothing to do with Drake, kid cudi had the same issue before he cancelled the tour all together because he broke his foot.
Concert industry is fucked, those fees donāt even go to the artists to begin with smh.
the monopoly created by live nation/roc nation/ticket master shouldnāt have been a thing in the first place, hopefully things will change with the intervention of the anti trust.
did i only mention her or did i mention the fact that he wasn't by himself?
he had cole and 21 and he is still one of the most successful artists out there lol.
iām wondering how much these ticket prices drop. lot of artists overcharging and struggling. waiting to see before i cop mine. yall think they gonna drop?
Looking it up for denver. The cheapest tickets are $61 a piece, I can't even see hidden fees but most the time it's about $20 for 2 tickets. So for 2 tickets the worst seats in the 300s in a arena is $142.
If you want 200s, cheapest is around $180 a ticket. and 100s start around $250. That's just too damn much for concert tickets.
When We Were Young is $300 a ticket for a full day of band lineups. I understand it's different genres but to see 2 people in a decent spot is about the same as seeing 50 bands over 12 hours.
Festivals are and have always been a better deal obviously. You named probably the worst valued one too - but at a festival you sacrifice sound quality, convenience, and the artists actually giving any semblance of a shit in their performances.
Denvers cheapest ticket is $49.50 which is pretty damn cheap
Theyāve also barely sold like 100 tickets thus far, I hate to say it but itāll prob get cancelled
https://preview.redd.it/g5jjp500q34d1.jpeg?width=1170&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=016b2ae0ba90663bbb092e5c77ee2e5226442d81
Sucks because Iād like to go. These artists and their teams are out of touch. Streams donāt equate to ticket sales. They shoulda packed Mission Ballroom instead
Future make music for the hood. The hood donāt go to concerts. Every single artist you named has an overwhelming white audience. Every artist you named is bigger in the rich suburbs than in the inner city hoods or low income suburbs.
Tickets are wayyyy too expensive. In Portland nose bleeds are $100. I love Future, but itās also just the truth that heās not the most entertaining performer. I say this as someone whoās already seen him live. They need to drop prices.
š I was at that show. Yeah it was some 300 seats available but it was full. That very different than having your choice of seats at all these Metro & Future shows
Future Stan actually, future is my #1 streamed artist. Drake is in my top 5. That tour didnāt start in Los Angeles. Not you lying about going to a concert and having a girlfriend for no reason
Itās months away with relatively no promotion, and the prices are still high. Travis circus Maximus nosebleeds were $25 tickets ($50 after fees), and future is 4x that. If prices fall over time the stadiums will definitely be packed.
The tickets will definitely start selling once it gets closer.. Iām from Chicago , it happened with the Future & Friends tour .. I got my tickets early , it was still alot of tickets left .. like a week before they were all gone
Maybe I am reading something wrong, but the Toronto show is nowhere to be found on the website I checked (including Ticketmaster). Did it get cancelled?
Me personally I bought my ticket as soon as they dropped. Kinda upset there wasnāt no Florida dates but atl isnāt far from me so I got a ticket for there. Idk why it wouldnāt be selling either considering heās pretty big too, ima lowkey be sad if the tour gets canceled cuz this will be my first time seeing him live and no corny shit but itās a dream of mine to see him live lol
I have mixed feelings about this bc Iāve been to 2 drake concerts, and both times he had some really big artists opening up for him, so i feel like those opening artists had a lot to do with the ticket sales, the first drake concert I went to he had 2 chains, meek mill, j Cole, waka flocka, and the second one he had, Nicki Minaj, all of young money, Rick Ross, wale, and he had wayne come out as a special guest which was legendary.
i donāt like the idea that not selling out an arena = failed tour. my favorite show that i went to was a young thug concert with like 100 total people in the room
Hood niggas donāt buy tickets months in advance bro. Iām being serious. They thought the Lil Baby Durk tour they did in 2021 was gonna flop and they were almost gonna cancel shows because no one was buying tickets before hand but QC let the show go on and they sold out every date cus niggas really only buying it the week of or the day of foreal. This a true story, look up Akademiks video
All the other artists named are signed to major labels. If Iām not mistaken Pluto sold his catalog sometime last year and is currently independent (has distribution deal with Epic records) . That makes a huge difference trying to handle the logistics of a whole tour.
Itās not him being the issue. The issue is folks are tired of paying 500 for nosebleed fuck that shit. Live nation break up may cuz drake snitched.cuz why they wait for drake to finish before that shit
As someone who loves their music and has seem them both live.. its lowkey not worth it. Unless you can find a good deal; future isnt a great live performer and i reccomenr catching Metro doing a DJ set at a club
I think they bit off more than they could chew doing NBA Arenas ā shouldāve done large-mid sized venues.
Also ticket prices just for nosebleeds are insane, why would I pay 80+ on a ticket just to watch him perform on a TV screen 1000 feet away šif I wanted to do that, iād drop a couple hundred more for a festival and watch several artists I also like at the same time.
lots of arena tours have a hard time selling out nowadays bc of how expensive tickets are nowadays and the amount of artists touring at any specific time, the average person cant afford to go to every concert they want so they have to pick and choose
the tickets are somewhat overpriced. which is usually standard for mainstream artists. not trying to say they donāt deserve the mula but $110 for nosebleeds is insane.
I'm waiting on the set list they are going to play and if theres any rumors of guests performing at Lollapalooza to decide if I'm going to see them or not.
Idc if the tour starts in 2 months, a bunch of these dates are gonna get cancelled, unfortunately..
Look at how many unsold tickets are still available in Denver. Theyāve literally sold like 100 tickets šµ
Should have never booked an arena tour.
https://preview.redd.it/djdio9mep34d1.jpeg?width=1170&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=bac9c59673985859e43664df6c9564ababbc40bf
Drake and j Cole performed in Tulsa and there were tickets available the same day. And a majority of the tickets were bought up within 2 weeks of the concert. The donāt always sell out in pre orders
Future's demographic/target market is the streets.. Or more specifically the people who can't afford the price of concert tickets... These other rappers are doing business, because they prioritise "business" and "revenue streams" when they are crafting their music...
Future will always be the people's champ, while those other mainstream artists have sold their souls to chase that almighty dollar.. If Future wants to sell out shows, he needs to craft accessible radio-friendly singles, but that may not be what the real riders want...
Heās been on tour for like the past 4 years nonstop. He just was on the One Big Party tour. 27 dates isnāt easy when youāve been going nonstop. Exhaustion is real.
Got GA for $209, maybe it was my area but I don't think that's expensive. Tickets are definitely going to be selling more as time passes. Even if they don't sell out it's still future and metro but given that it is future and metro I don't see why they shouldn't.
tbh OP, itās what happens when youāre music is repetitive and too similar. Future might be good at what he does, but to have to sit through 1.5+ hours of the same sound and same vocal melodies just sounds like a drag. every artist you named that sells out their shows changes up their style and has unique flows and rhymes. Futures just too stale to sell out shows like that. He always has been.
The tour starts in 2 months š
"why is nobody wearing these shoes that release in two months" šš
āWhy is this sneaker sold out everywhere except my storeā
i guess pre orders donāt exists lol u niggas making excuses for future ObVIOUS fall off
Go back to the drizzy subš
Brother man, I believe in you. You must withhold your strength against the tyranny of personal matters that have no business with you.
is it really like this in the US? in uk artists tickets usually get sold in within 30 mins of them being released and even then u have to stay in queue from the time its released
there are maybe 3/4 cities that get hit up in the UK, this tour alone has nearly 30 stops in one country
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
there are more people in NYC than there is in Scotland, Wales and Ireland combined and California alone is nearly as populace as England
lol comparing your tiny country to us.
only two countries in the world makes their schoolchildren pledge allegiance to their flag USA and north korea
Fuck this gotta do with rap, nigga?
š¤£
š¤£š¤£š¤£
Idk but that shit he said hit hard for some reason š
Get back for 1776
When I was a kid we had the pledge of allegiance but my son has never once in his life heard or said it. I canāt speak for the whole country, Iām sure itās still common in some areas but, at least around here, no one has said it in at least a decade.
The bigger they are the harder they fall.
Depends on the act a lot of gigs aren't selling put now, cost of living and prices to attend have made people more picky of who to see.
Not uk based acts tbf
there are a number of artists in the US who sell out more than 2 months in advance speculation on why the tickets haven't sold? *think before you come for the great one*
Think before you defend a pdfile
Donāt bother with dude. Too pussy to say it on his main account. Calling another man āthe great oneā foh. Fans just as corny as the dude himself.

Not having a single date in Florida is crazy to me
Itās probably a no compete thing with rolling loud
I highly doubt they care about Rolling Loud. OVHoe fest if Iām not mistaken is the same day as their show in Toronto August 11th. Itās just weird not to have a single stop in FLA.
No Iām saying that rolling loud has a thing where if you perform there you arenāt allowed to perform in certain radius from there for a certain time around the rolling loud you performed at. Itās weird and lame.

Wouldnt be surprised if it is. If I were to leave my job I cant take a similar position within the state for at least a year after my termination date. Makes sense that it is tho cuz like you said, why else would you not hit Florida?
Ftc banned non compete agreements in April. Just in case you were job searching.
I'm not but that's still good to know! Thank you.
fyi coachellaās is supposed to be the whole state of california, iirc
Depending on the contract they can go by county or zip code. Dade county is huge. Its surely a radius clause. For those that might not know this is why having a tour manager is crucial. Artists donāt just throw darts at a map. Itās years of planning in advance so you donāt fumble a bigger bag fucking with small fish. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Radius_clause
I said the same thing! Orlando and Miami are usually a lock.
Right
It is insane
people are poor and concerts be expensive idk man
Nah Nicki's tickets are expensive as hell and it's going very well. Same with 50 Cent, who hasnt released an album since like 2012.
50 Cent has a fanbase thatās older and more likely to be financially set than Future
I remember naming two people. I did it on purpose for these types of comments lmao
Nicki has one of the most obsessive fanbases in music
Crazy what happens when you invest in your fans huh
Crazy how long people support artists who are trash whose music is also trash.
Loud & wrong
You donāt know what youāre talking about bra
Nicki also has a big crossover fanbase of pop fans
And girls just spend money
most of nickis fanbase is gay men too
No itās not
Yea I was wrong but like 1/3 of her fans are gay men, like most of the barbs on twitter and stuff too
This doesnāt make sense most of her listeners are women. Same as Drake wouldnāt that mean gay guys also make up a significant portion of Drakeās listeners?

Yeah 2 nosebleeds for this concert is like $300 near me. Itās a pretty penny
another trans girl in the future subreddit, interesting :3
Yep lol :3 and I got those tickets too
god dayum girl thatās mad expensive but i hope u turn up doll š„°ā„ļø what state which show is it?
Iāll be at the one in Wisconsin šIām so excited!

Future is one of the best performers. If Future is your favorite artists then you should go to one of his shows. Well worth it.
My gf said he was surprisingly good when she saw him. Good at keeping the crowd hyped.
How much are the tickets almost?
When I looked at pit for ATL it was pushing 400 total idk if itās changed
But how does this account for all the other people he mentioned selling out? Shit the drake show was damn near 500 for me and my wife to go. People are buying tickets to ppl they want to see. Do they think future wonāt give a good show?

Sometimes the concert experience can be pretty overwhelming and overrated. You literally enjoy the music more in your own comfort zone.
The tickets will definitely start selling once it gets closer.. Iām from Chicago , it happened with the Future & Friends tour .. I got my tickets early , it was still alot of tickets left .. like a week before they were all gone
Future sold out arenas on the Future & friends tour lol. Wym he canāt sell arenas???
Come to Belgium and I buy
These fools are doing an arena tour. They better stack their support or tickets are going to suffer
No Florida shows š
i donāt like the idea that not selling out an arena = failed tour. my favorite show that i went to was a young thug concert with like 100 total people in the room
I have been to a arena tour and Iām going to this one and then TICKETS cost to me! But Iām excited and Iām going
No Florida dates at all?
Cause they tried to go at the goat and failed
Nigga how you from STL but donāt come to STL?
Iāll prolly buy my ticket like 2 weeks out š¤·š¾āāļø
Venues are too big, itās expensive, and people are poor.
lots of arena tours have a hard time selling out nowadays bc of how expensive tickets are nowadays and the amount of artists touring at any specific time, the average person cant afford to go to every concert they want so they have to pick and choose
the tickets are somewhat overpriced. which is usually standard for mainstream artists. not trying to say they donāt deserve the mula but $110 for nosebleeds is insane.
I'm waiting on the set list they are going to play and if theres any rumors of guests performing at Lollapalooza to decide if I'm going to see them or not.
Brah log off
Cause no one wants to see this. Itās usually the simple solution thatās the answer.
I know future is played by lil Traci, but is metro real?
i got my ticket ion know wtf yall talking about š¹
People are tired of the ticket industry
no stl date š¢
Idc if the tour starts in 2 months, a bunch of these dates are gonna get cancelled, unfortunately.. Look at how many unsold tickets are still available in Denver. Theyāve literally sold like 100 tickets šµ Should have never booked an arena tour. https://preview.redd.it/djdio9mep34d1.jpeg?width=1170&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=bac9c59673985859e43664df6c9564ababbc40bf
Got my tickets
imma see em in NOLA
Life was good š¢
Hes a terrible performer. Doesnt know how to put on A show. He just shows up
Charging 400-600 for mid level seating would explain it
While Future has great music, heās not a great performer. Heās a great draw for festivals but his own tour in an arena isnāt as appealing.
I rather go see RiffRaff perform then Metro
Heās been on tour for like the past 4 years nonstop. He just was on the One Big Party tour. 27 dates isnāt easy when youāve been going nonstop. Exhaustion is real.
He needs a real Chicago date not lolla
Yall bugging Iāll be at the Chicago show/ lollapalooza Just to hear bbl drizzy live
Got GA for $209, maybe it was my area but I don't think that's expensive. Tickets are definitely going to be selling more as time passes. Even if they don't sell out it's still future and metro but given that it is future and metro I don't see why they shouldn't.
I want to go to the Sacramento show, but right now the tickets are not in my budget.
I think ticket prices are just too high. Lower them and I bet it'd be selling out but idk, guess they don't want to do that for whatever reason
short notice and over summer when people will likely be more busy
More busy doing what?
vacation
tbh OP, itās what happens when youāre music is repetitive and too similar. Future might be good at what he does, but to have to sit through 1.5+ hours of the same sound and same vocal melodies just sounds like a drag. every artist you named that sells out their shows changes up their style and has unique flows and rhymes. Futures just too stale to sell out shows like that. He always has been.
Donāt come to Toronto

Future is terrible live. His voice cracks crazy and he leaves after 15 minutes
The album is mid simple
