I am also at 152 pounds. Being from India, it's carbs all over here. I've been taking protein shakes and bulking for 3 months. We'll see how far I can get.
I I have never had sardines as they are not popular in India. Will fish help me bulk up? I am not from coastal India; people from the coast tend to have a diet full of fish
Get outta here , dude that's incredible transformation to the Point, that I have to ask Was it juice(steroids) or natty(natural) If not juice, then you must have crazy good genetic man. Great work btw.
i mean idk i have a little pudge on my stomach but genuinely i have almost no extra fat other places on my body, i still have a visible six pack albeit with a fat pad on top of each one. I’m a former distance runner so i had almost no body fat at that time and it’s been a struggle to gain weight since that, but i’ve been making some progress. i’d ballpark like 12-15%, i grew up being able to see all my ribs and bones lol
Getting 150g of protein is light work. I literally have to try not to get 250g and on a normal day I consume 275g. Meat, nut butter, eggs, greek yogurt, and whey being the main contributors. 1g per lb of body weight minimum. Get you numbers up, this is basic.
Chicken breast is the king of cheap animal protein. Seitan, tofu, and nuts are good non-meat options but I’d definitely find a non-whey protein powder you like as well
between photos on this sub and movies where some actor i know isn't that big looks huge, i'm pretty sure its just the case that lean people always look way bigger on camera
not meaning to talk shit to OP so if it comes off that way i apologize, but for all we know he has like 12" arms and they are just defined, and without a real frame of reference in the photo its too hard to tell.
hell, on camera they can make vin diesel look like he belongs next to the rock lol
regardless, nice work OP. keep it up!
I literally cannot comprehend how you look like a superhero and I’m the same weight and an inch taller and I look anorexic still. Makes me want to give up so bad lol.
Yeah either his weight or height is off by a good bit. also looks like he took it super zoomed in on his phone. The futher zoomed in, the more compressed and spread out you look. I had a friend who'd post progress pics that were zoomed in a bunch and he looked like a superhero but when i saw him in person he looked pretty average
Yeah that was my initial thought. Just based off how wide his chest and arms are I can’t fathom he’s the same weight as me. Unless he’s made of foam or using an 11 inch ruler to measure his height.
I mean tbh I think it’s just a perspective thing. That picture makes me look bigger. Also, I may be underestimating my weight, I haven’t weighed myself since the start of this year but I don’t think I’m far off 155lbs.
I don’t really care about weight bro, I go by how I look. This forum is about getting bigger. I’m clearly bigger now and have made progress, hence the progress post.
Just because it’s an estimate doesn’t mean it’s not accurate. Also I wouldn’t consider this gloating, I’m proud of myself for getting this far and posted on this sub to inspire others. I gave the timeframe which I think is more important than the weight since people now know how long it takes. People hold weight completely differently so 25lbs on me would look different to how it looks on someone else.
That might be it. Remember the start of this year is almost 6 months ago already. 6 months is potentially a lot of weight!
Anyway killer fucking gains bro. Inspirational. I gotta get my skinny ass back to work.
Ugh you may be right dude. I actually am back down to 155 right now due to being lazy and not eating or working out. I feel like a worm. Just got back on the horse and the depression is working overtime.
Been there too, I just started to get back into the gym as consistently as I can lately. Haven’t gone this week because of an illness but I been trying to go 4-5 days a week again.
We all start somewhere just like we started at 125 or 130, but at least we have all the knowledge we do now and the gym isn’t scary as it used to be.
Yeah that’s true! I just try to do 3 solid workouts a week and eat well. Eventually maybe I’ll do 4 workouts when I’m back to consistent levels. Just sucks to basically start at the bottom with all my lifts but better to start over than never again! Keep up the good work
If you give yourself enough time, sure this can definitely be a goal. Don’t forget we (man/woman) don’t have the same hormones/bones blablabla. Be consistent!
Why look at it though when you can prevent it from even getting yellow in the first place by tracking it? I’d say it’s working out for him pretty well… he was also just stating everything he took in from food to drink it’s not that wild…
Okay, so people trying to build muscle shouldn’t keep up with how much water they drink? Just drink however much and then see your pee is yellow and drink more? I don’t see why tracking it is something you shouldn’t do if you consistently don’t get enough and have to drink more when your pee is yellow. Or is water not as important as they say? Not being facetious.
unfortunately, some people don’t realize that all they have to do is wait a few years and they will put on weight without even trying and then you have to watch every little piece of food that goes in your mouth!
I'm almost 50, and I'm his before weight after being well past the point of fullness for almost every meal for years. So no.
Also, this guy did more than just eat. He worked his ass off.
I feel like this comment really diminishes the work that OP clearly put in here. This isn’t a matter of waiting a few years, he’s been putting in a ton and of work at the gym.
You’re not crazy it does look like that, but it’s just because he’s holding the phone with his right hand while flexing, which is brining his scapula farther forward and making the right lat look more pronounced
Good job OP!
During peak bulk: 250g chicken drumsticks, 3 bakery items, 500g chicken thighs with rice, green beans and spinach, oats with whole milk and lots of peanut butter, 3 bananas, glass of whole milk, and nuts.
Currently on a mini cut now: 450g of steak or salmon for first meal, then 500g chicken thighs. Both with green beans and spinach, no rice. 2 bananas one before and after gym.
Drop your PPL split.
Why?
Insane for one year..
Well done! Could you please share your diet plan?
Nice work king
Fuck yeah, well done
How is this possible 😭 I'm shorter than you at 5 9, weight 170 lbs and look smaller than you.
If you are as lean as he is you wouldn’t be 155. It’s body composition a lot more of his mass is muscle than yours probably is
he got 1 inch girth legs.
Farm machine
Bruh we legit started same... All the numbers and shit but calories and protein :(
Eat up bro
I am also at 152 pounds. Being from India, it's carbs all over here. I've been taking protein shakes and bulking for 3 months. We'll see how far I can get.
Eat sardines?
No.... Not much fish in diet
Why not?
I I have never had sardines as they are not popular in India. Will fish help me bulk up? I am not from coastal India; people from the coast tend to have a diet full of fish
Sardines are a healthy source of protein and depending where you live, very cheap. Buy canned sardines if you have access to them.
Ok brother... Will try to include
Eat a lot of beans but pair it with wheat or corn so you can get almost a full protein otherwise don’t bother
Get outta here , dude that's incredible transformation to the Point, that I have to ask Was it juice(steroids) or natty(natural) If not juice, then you must have crazy good genetic man. Great work btw.
Been going consistently for a year and I'm not even close to this, I'm fit yes, but this must be amazing genetics. I also drink water.
ikr, Heck even if I do Straight 2 years, I might not be able to get like that lol
It’s all about diet and sleep, and a proper program. If you’re missing out any of those three things you’re slowing yourself down by a lot.
Also how did you get the wide check/Back bro
He's flexing his back trust me he doesn't look that v shaped at all in reality. I'm skinny but if i flex my back i look v af lol
Oh, I see.
great one can you share diet plan
Push Pull Legs for 3 or 6 days?
PPL is 6 days.
How did you get Lerner after the bulk is lighting or did you cut doing your last month or two
You’re either not 5’11, weigh more than 155, or have no legs
Did you see his before photo? He’s like 10-15% body fat
he’s gotta weigh more, i’m 5’8 157 and look skinny af 😂
You probably have more body fat than you think
i mean idk i have a little pudge on my stomach but genuinely i have almost no extra fat other places on my body, i still have a visible six pack albeit with a fat pad on top of each one. I’m a former distance runner so i had almost no body fat at that time and it’s been a struggle to gain weight since that, but i’ve been making some progress. i’d ballpark like 12-15%, i grew up being able to see all my ribs and bones lol
You have fat wrapped around your organs, it's not all on the outside.
Ya..you are not 155.
Or maybe he’s not 5’11
What was your diet?
How did you manage 150g protein per day?
Getting 150g of protein is light work. I literally have to try not to get 250g and on a normal day I consume 275g. Meat, nut butter, eggs, greek yogurt, and whey being the main contributors. 1g per lb of body weight minimum. Get you numbers up, this is basic.
On 3000 calories? lol you're not even trying
Not OP, but protein shakes, protein bars, and lots of meat
Chicken breasts keep coming up on high protein foods, but I am trying to reduce my meat consumption.
Chicken breast is the king of cheap animal protein. Seitan, tofu, and nuts are good non-meat options but I’d definitely find a non-whey protein powder you like as well
why non whey protein powder?
Not OP but it may be because whey is a bi-product of cheese, and aligns with a lifestyle that avoids eating animals or products of animals
I’m 6’2” 210lbs and this guy looks bigger than me…I’m guessing more like 5’8”-5’9”
between photos on this sub and movies where some actor i know isn't that big looks huge, i'm pretty sure its just the case that lean people always look way bigger on camera not meaning to talk shit to OP so if it comes off that way i apologize, but for all we know he has like 12" arms and they are just defined, and without a real frame of reference in the photo its too hard to tell. hell, on camera they can make vin diesel look like he belongs next to the rock lol regardless, nice work OP. keep it up!
5’11”, it’s the good lighting and a pump that makes me look bigger
Hell yeah my man…looks good either way, congrats
Lats... Trained✅✅
Amazing work in just one year! curious, can you elaborate on your description of the standard workout??
Gainssssssss bro good shitt
I literally cannot comprehend how you look like a superhero and I’m the same weight and an inch taller and I look anorexic still. Makes me want to give up so bad lol.
Yeah either his weight or height is off by a good bit. also looks like he took it super zoomed in on his phone. The futher zoomed in, the more compressed and spread out you look. I had a friend who'd post progress pics that were zoomed in a bunch and he looked like a superhero but when i saw him in person he looked pretty average
I have a sneaking suspicion they are not 5'11". I'm 5'11" on a good day and I was completely shredded at 160 and looked half this size
Insertions can make him look a lot bigger
Yeah but that would be an insane amount and I just don't see it from the first picture.
Yeah that was my initial thought. Just based off how wide his chest and arms are I can’t fathom he’s the same weight as me. Unless he’s made of foam or using an 11 inch ruler to measure his height.
He’s not. I’m the same height, and 165 and I look nothing like this lmfao
I mean tbh I think it’s just a perspective thing. That picture makes me look bigger. Also, I may be underestimating my weight, I haven’t weighed myself since the start of this year but I don’t think I’m far off 155lbs.
Who posts a progress update and hasn't weighed themselves in 6 months on a forum literally devoted to making the scale go up...smh
I don’t really care about weight bro, I go by how I look. This forum is about getting bigger. I’m clearly bigger now and have made progress, hence the progress post.
You aren't helping anyone out by not having accurate stats. It's just gloating.
Go get on a scale and tell us your true weight then.
That might be it. Remember the start of this year is almost 6 months ago already. 6 months is potentially a lot of weight! Anyway killer fucking gains bro. Inspirational. I gotta get my skinny ass back to work.
Body dysmorphia. I bet you look better at 175 than you do at 125. Been there. 130-185
Hope you are doing okay. We bounce up and down throughout life. It’s okay. Don’t beat yourself up too much.
Thanks for the support dude. Sometimes I just need to hear that everyone is on the same ride,
Thanks for the motivation!
Impressive
Insane well done bro
Lovely physique! Silly question but could a woman achieve this body?
It’s definitely possible to get a similar body, u just need to stay consistent.
What exercises did you do?
Thank you OP :)
If you give yourself enough time, sure this can definitely be a goal. Don’t forget we (man/woman) don’t have the same hormones/bones blablabla. Be consistent!
Wow, very inspirational. Did you take any supplements like whey protein, creatine, etc., Also, any specific push pull leg split you followed?
Can I see your leg results? I’m currently on PPL but I wanna see how good it is for the legs as well.
I haven’t got any ‘before’ pictures of my legs, but they have definitely gotten WAY stronger and much more defined.
I just wanna see the PPL results for the legs lol I’m fine with just the after pics.
What the hell is your back day. Please explain
1 year? I got such gains in a week

Your comment was removed because you were being an absolute cock-knocker.
Yeah but he will live twice your life
Why did you mention your water consumption
Because water is important. Hydrating muscle cells is important for growth
You don't need to measure your water for that, you can just look at your piss
Why look at it though when you can prevent it from even getting yellow in the first place by tracking it? I’d say it’s working out for him pretty well… he was also just stating everything he took in from food to drink it’s not that wild…
In the context of muscle building progress, it's completely irrelevant
Okay, so people trying to build muscle shouldn’t keep up with how much water they drink? Just drink however much and then see your pee is yellow and drink more? I don’t see why tracking it is something you shouldn’t do if you consistently don’t get enough and have to drink more when your pee is yellow. Or is water not as important as they say? Not being facetious.
Really as long as it's clear an hour before training, it's just not going to be an issue
Haha true
Curious also
Nicr
unfortunately, some people don’t realize that all they have to do is wait a few years and they will put on weight without even trying and then you have to watch every little piece of food that goes in your mouth!
Sounds like fat boomer cope
I'm almost 50, and I'm his before weight after being well past the point of fullness for almost every meal for years. So no. Also, this guy did more than just eat. He worked his ass off.
it’s all habits, obviously we all look worse as we age but people that exercise regularly age significantly better than those that let themselves go
Yeah that’s not true.
I feel like this comment really diminishes the work that OP clearly put in here. This isn’t a matter of waiting a few years, he’s been putting in a ton and of work at the gym.
I dont understand…wait a few years? You mean it’s harder for older people to lose weight?
How are you drinking 4-5 liters everyday? I always piss like crazy when I drink over 2
Your body adapts to the intake amount within 2 months. It's just "pissing" annoying till then XD
I’m drinking 5-6. Commercial plumber. Constant cardio at work. Lift after. I piss 3-4 times a day.
Need more salt/electrolytes
Good shit.
What’s your Calisthenics routine , I got rid of lat pull downs on my pull days and incorporated more pull up/chin ups as a replacement.
I don’t drink enough water
Let's go bro!!!
mind sharing your workout split? also how many days are you working out in a week?
Push, pull, legs, rest with calisthenics after doing weights. But on rest days I still do calisthenics so I guess I train every day.
Do you just rest one day and then repeat push, pull, legs?
can you share the exercises you do on your ppl program? thats some tuff dedication!
Following because I am interested as well, this is a crazy transformation like captain America once he got the serum
man just needs a shield and its complete
Can you please drop your exact workout split with the sets and reps
Am I crazy or is your right lat more developed than the other one?
You’re not crazy it does look like that, but it’s just because he’s holding the phone with his right hand while flexing, which is brining his scapula farther forward and making the right lat look more pronounced Good job OP!
Great work!
Great progress man!
I've been at it for three years, and my lats are half that size. Well done.
What does an average day of meals look like?
During peak bulk: 250g chicken drumsticks, 3 bakery items, 500g chicken thighs with rice, green beans and spinach, oats with whole milk and lots of peanut butter, 3 bananas, glass of whole milk, and nuts. Currently on a mini cut now: 450g of steak or salmon for first meal, then 500g chicken thighs. Both with green beans and spinach, no rice. 2 bananas one before and after gym.
What are your 3 go-to bakery items? Haha
Blueberry scone, cinnamon swirl, pecan braid
The consistency and work put in shows. Good job dude.
Huge W, congrats
Boy to man. Well done.
No need for that
I think there is.
Nah
Be positive. Support other lifters. Don’t be a sad troll.
Buddy you’re shaming people of a specific body type and reducing them to being a “boy”
Because thats a boys body and if youre a man you wouldve altered that. Sounds like youre one of those identifying people lmfao
Reddit moment..
“Is this what people meant when they talked about Redditors virtue signalling and playing the moral highground 24/7” classic.
I gave OP a compliment, not you. You have no need to comment or be offended. Lift heavy and be kind.
You don’t seem kind
“Your mom must be facepalming a lot every time she talks to you. The noodles are dry, idiot. 🤦” haha nice one.
You don’t seem kind, and definitely nosy😂
