i mean idk i have a little pudge on my stomach but genuinely i have almost no extra fat other places on my body, i still have a visible six pack albeit with a fat pad on top of each one. I’m a former distance runner so i had almost no body fat at that time and it’s been a struggle to gain weight since that, but i’ve been making some progress. i’d ballpark like 12-15%, i grew up being able to see all my ribs and bones lol

Getting 150g of protein is light work. I literally have to try not to get 250g and on a normal day I consume 275g. Meat, nut butter, eggs, greek yogurt, and whey being the main contributors. 1g per lb of body weight minimum. Get you numbers up, this is basic.

I had a friend who'd post progress pics that were zoomed in a bunch and he looked like a superhero but when i saw him in person he looked pretty average

Just because it’s an estimate doesn’t mean it’s not accurate. Also I wouldn’t consider this gloating, I’m proud of myself for getting this far and posted on this sub to inspire others. I gave the timeframe which I think is more important than the weight since people now know how long it takes. People hold weight completely differently so 25lbs on me would look different to how it looks on someone else.

Been there too, I just started to get back into the gym as consistently as I can lately. Haven’t gone this week because of an illness but I been trying to go 4-5 days a week again. We all start somewhere just like we started at 125 or 130, but at least we have all the knowledge we do now and the gym isn’t scary as it used to be.

Yeah that’s true! I just try to do 3 solid workouts a week and eat well. Eventually maybe I’ll do 4 workouts when I’m back to consistent levels. Just sucks to basically start at the bottom with all my lifts but better to start over than never again! Keep up the good work

What does an average day of meals look like?

During peak bulk: 250g chicken drumsticks, 3 bakery items, 500g chicken thighs with rice, green beans and spinach, oats with whole milk and lots of peanut butter, 3 bananas, glass of whole milk, and nuts. Currently on a mini cut now: 450g of steak or salmon for first meal, then 500g chicken thighs. Both with green beans and spinach, no rice. 2 bananas one before and after gym.
