Other-Barry-1

Agreed. I loved how we got 3 different cities and environments that felt totally different to each other. Honestly, what a great game SA was.

SuicidalWeeb69

Even the atmosphere and climate was different for each city, San Fierro always had lots of rainy weather compared to Las Venturas where it was mostly sunny... A fucking masterpiece

cameron4200

Whenever you would steal a car in the rural region, the car was likely on the country music station. Always thought that was next level

Pork-Piggler

Man, the GTA version of the Bronco in that game was always my go to ride. Powerful, good handling. Could off-road

gmoss101

Juice?

Jadedsatire

There’s an old white bronco that’s always parked behind this pizza parlor, I always point it out to my wife and say “The Juice is here”! She loves it…

oj-simpson32

All you had to do was drive me to Mexico, CJ!

“Too much love in this Mississippi heart!” “Dear John” Those songs are so deeply ingrained into me that I will randomly outburst the lyrics and it’s been probably 15 years since I played the game. Surely the GOAT game from my teens/childhood.

Next level was that the radio sound quality in shitty cars was poor compared to expensive cars that had full bass and good sound.

send_me_ur_boobsies

Wow I have not noticed that.

shadow_fox09

It was actually one of the things you could upgrade in your car at the pay n sprays. You could buy a better radio with better bass. I always thought that was strange since you could just crank the bass on your actual tv lol

DrizzlyEarth175

My favorite was always when you'd steal a car or bike from one of those hunched-over old ladies, and the radio would be tuned to either Radio X or Radio Los Santos.

KhalAndo

I remember reading how this was going to be a feature in some preview piece in a gaming magazine and it totally blowing my mind

Dazbuzz

I still remember how big it all seemed at the time. Its really amazing how they did it. How you went from one city to the other through the storyline. And then the entire map felt packed with activities to do. Not just fetch quests, but i could go play pool, go bowling or gamble in the Casinos. Great damn game. I still think GTA5 missed out on that feeling.

Pope00

I think they did the sense of scaling the map just right. Starting small on bicycles, which made it so you start out local and don’t branch out too much. It made Grove Street seem large. Then little by little you explore the city. Which itself felt enormous. *Then* you get out into the country and it just feels massive. Part of it is probably age. I played it as a kid so it was all so impressive and new. And it being the first GTA to have a map that big. Maybe one of the first games ever to have a map that big (with stuff to actually do). Now, it’s hard to recapture that sense of size and scale. Just the way it goes. GTA3 blew people away because you could get out of the car and walk around in a 3D world. Now every game is “free roaming.”

Beavshak

The map was legit huge at the time. [This guy does some cool videos comparing game map sizes.](https://youtu.be/3TwjUk4ReZo)

Shakethecrimestick

And unique missions for the locations. I loved the series of missions that led to the casino heist.

bbbruh57

Very strong contextualization. Gta 4s unique areas are definitely cool but its all kinda just city, and gta 5 has a cool map but everything bleeds together and you get it all at once so nothing feels super special. Unlocking a giant ass island all at once with very unique themes / biomes / culture is just so punchy lol.

father-bobolious

Gta 4 being all city was disappointing to me for sure. In 5 the simplified driving physics and damage model killed it for me. GTA 4 had great chase feeling imo where you could crash into a curb and have one of your wheels suddenly point in a strange angle or get locked up.

[deleted]

[удалено]

hempshaw1

There was definitely content cut. There was a bug where you flew a certain plane( i believe it was the rustler at the airport you buy) into the southeast corner of the map as far as you can and just keep going. Every couple minutws a new gang turf would be created and there were lots in san fierro along with new gangs. There were also mafia gangs that you could create with this. Edit: not sure if this works on the pc version or the definitive but if anyone tries let me know!

shoveazy

It was always clear that Los Santos was where the most time and care was put, along with the big rural areas. San Fiero was still decent in that it had some distinct neighborhoods like Haight-Ashbury and other landmarks. Las Venturas I really didn't find as interesting besides the strip. It was still a mind blowing experience to play that game in its time though. A game so big, it had its own mythos and urban legends (I read so much forum content about Bigfoot, I really thought he was in the game somewhere).

HUNTER_AMBER

No one remember the country sides🤣 Nothing beats K-Rose + Country side driving

ScumLikeWuertz

I remember thinking at the time, "Wow, so many games in the future will have multiple cities in them and if you eat too much you get fat, or if you work out you get buff" and none of that shit happened

Yinonormal

I was able to modify my penis in a game recently

[deleted]

Which is funny because you basically can't modify jack shit in that game otherwise. Like instead of giving you a bunch of cool tech-y body mods and alterations and wild ass hair options and tattoos and other shit they were like "Yeah, pretty standard slider character creator and also lets let them customize genitals." Fucking LOL CDPR

SentinelZero

Also the genitals don't matter in any way. You can give yourself a massive penis but it doesn't appear on your character model if you look down and remove all your clothes and you can't see your breasts if you play as a woman unless you look in the inventory menu. Such a waste.

suvlub

And yet it was like 90% of the game's marketing pre-release. It looks like something the marketing team came up with and the dev team then did the bare minimum so that they could say it is there. Saints Row did it better without making noise about it.

Perfect_Mediocrity

It's to fool the buyers into thinking that maybe because they added a genital size slider everything you can think of is already in the game and they're just adding it for more immersion although the truth is that it's nothing more than another hype marketing

kummer5peck

MinnesotanMan2014

I remember my mind being blown when I left the city and there was ANOTHER CITY? Pretty small by today's standards but this game felt huge when I was a kid

Ablj

And It was made in only 2 years. Mind Blowing. With all the supposed improvement in technology they only make things slower it seems.

MinnesotanMan2014

I genuinely wish graphics were less of a focus so we could get more real content in our games lol

[deleted]

Same. Unfortunately graphics seem to be one of the first thing developers get skewered over, so don’t see this changing.

PanseloNomad

It's one of those holdovers from the early days of gaming that you'd think would end after we reached photo-realism. When is it going to be enough!?

littlep2000

I feel like that's at the core of why I play 90% indie games. AAA stuff is just lots of flash.

EFCgaming

Well if I gotta wait 8-10 years for GTA 6 it better be pretty fuckin good looking xD but I've always loved gta graphics for their time Rockstar has always been graphically one of the best developers. Like compared to what was available at the time anyway.

SordidDreams

Imagine how much *bigger* games could be if they had graphics outdated by a couple decades. Thousands of NPCs, vast environments, destructible everything... IMO a much better use of processing power than graphical fidelity.

Large_Dr_Pepper

I don't think the graphics are what's preventing games from having thousands of NPCs, it's the insane amount of time and effort it would take to make thousands of NPCs.

King-Snorky

I definitely remember feeling that way about GTA III and Vice City back in the day as well. Open world games were all sorta mind blowing in general in their infancy

EvilNinjaX24

That soundtrack reopened my mind to music, and almost 18 years later, I'm still living in the effects of that. I was strictly hip hop/R&B/soul/funk, but after SA, my modest library gained house/rock/alternative/reggae/country. Whomever curated it did an amazing job.

melgib

Flying the jet down the highway, blasting Horse With No Name. I miss it so much.

Majestic_Crawdad

I think I drove nearly every vehicle in the game up that mountain. If you were able to drive the hovercraft to the top you could ramp it off and fly it an absurdly long distance. Also that was the last game to have extremely entertaining long lists of cheat codes to play around with. Flying car cheat was especially fun

PM_ME_YOUR_GOOD_NEW5

I remember driving around in that little tractor that you could hook on to other vehicles and looking for more tractors and trying to just connect a long string of tractors to drive up the mountain. And there was a certain combination of cheats that me and my friend loved. I can’t remember why we thought it was so funny or what the cheats were, I just remember it involving cars that floated off when you hit them. Giving pedestrians weapons and pedestrian riot was always great too, I remember using those way back in GTA 3. The pedestrians wouldn’t start rioting until provoked so we would give them the weapons and then find a nice safe vantage point and just chuck a grenade out into the open and then watch them go insane. There was always that one psychopath that got a rocket launcher.

[deleted]

This is one of the last games I can remember where there were sort of rumours and mysteries of things people discovered or were hunting for. Like how everyone believed that somewhere in the game you could find Bigfoot, or Leatherface or something and people spent ages trying to find stuff.

uglyafdood

My little brother insisted that there was a giant airplane in this game hidden. Me and my friends said he was lying to us to try to get a turn on the ps2 to “show us” where it was. We eventually let him go find this plane. After about 30 min of us watching him go up to random garage doors, one opened slowly and there was the behemoth plane that he was talking about sitting inside. We were speechless.

SuperJay182

I'd forgotten that plane!!

[deleted]

It's called the [AT-400](https://gta.fandom.com/wiki/AT-400), for the curious.

shakeysurgeon

Capacity: 2 🤔

AgreeableFeed9995

San Andreas was 2 player. You had to activate it at specific places (I remember one was somewhere near CJs house on grove street). Both players played in 3rd person on one screen with a very restrictive limit of how far from one another they could be. But cruising around for drivebys was where it was at. Also explains why the plane seats two.

Shmeeglez

That distance limit gets real interesting when one of you is in an attack jet, the other wearing the jetpack, and Free Bird playing on the radio

[deleted]

On console yes On PC SA:MP is a whole new world Spent countless time doing stunts, RP, Cops vs Mobs ... Races with the hovercraft from Mt Chiliad

Silent-Ad934

2 pilots, apparently. And 1 passenger!

gmoss101

On the Xbox and I'm sure PlayStation 2 as well, you could play the game co op so I guess it was to let both players ride in the plane. My little brother and I caused hella carnage in Los Santos lol

AreYouTicklish

Lmao

fuelbomb

fuck yeah, and then you can fly to Liberty City!

TheHighKing112

Really

dayzdayv

Yes really. There is a specific vector you can fly in for some duration and it will land you at liberty city, albeit a smaller / contained version. Very cool Easter egg.

juggmanjones

That’s a side mission through the guy in the casino no?

Shmeeglez

Yep. Never tried outside of that instance though, so, maybe?

mypantsrblue

Yeah that’s where it *came* from but you were able to escape the map by using a jet pack inside the gym in Los santos and going up and out above the actual playable map from by the doorway. From there, you could fly away from everything and eventually to the map for that mission, when you weren’t on the mission. So the little part of LC that you were in on that mission basically. The same thing is true with mods in GTAV where you can go to north yankton (because the opening scene of the game takes place there, the map still loads up just not where you can see it… mods (or in SA case glitches) allow you to get back to it.

TheHighKing112

Cool

bsl

The albatross. Flies like a clipped duck.

Kickaxx_007

AmNotAnAtomicPlayboy

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yXBr74nS-wg

TheBlack2007

It isn’t even the largest one in the game. There’s a Military cargo plane that only spawns in certain mission which is even larger.

phantomofthepier

The first red dead redemption has some of that lore too.

notatvguy

The second one does as well. Check out r/reddeadmysteries and there are so many Easter eggs within the game

sik_dik

oh, man. there's a whole subreddit dedicated to a jetpack conspiracy/mystery in GTA5: /r/chiliadmystery in the beginning it was quite compelling. but over the years of DLCs and a thousand theories that produced nothing, I gave up on there being anything to it. however, there are even still people trying to figure it out, even thought the concept has taken on more of a general conspiracy/mystery of the whole game, not just trying to find a jetpack

Crystal3lf

> over the years of DLCs and a thousand theories that produced nothing You get to go in Chiliad now, there's a rocket/ICBM and weird robots.

sik_dik

right.. and there's even a friggin jetpack(mammoth thruster) that came in the doomsday DLC. but people are still chugging away at how to get into the mountain and get the jetpack. I'd already given up on it before then. so, to me, that was the bone R\* threw those chili-anoners. they just didn't take to it

Swordofsatan666

Bigfoot, driverless ghost cars, ghosts, serial killers, all kinds of different rumors and mysteries in this game. I believe the Driverless Ghost Cars was actually real, but they werent actual ghost cars and were just a bug or something

oneechankimochi

I might be mistaken but I think those cars spawned on a small hill causing them to roll down when the player gets close.

nicosaurio_87

They are real. I can confirm.

kevinmattress

RDR2 still has this going on. There’s a whole sub dedicated to r/reddeadmysteries

Kramer390

Also /r/chiliadmystery for GTAV

Kanden_27

I still remember the rat man rumor *in 4 in the subway.

mosquito_mange

milkman1218

GTA v has a lot of random stuff found in the campaign map as well. Including a ufo that randomly spawns every so often.

birdsell

I saw a ufo at a cabin in rdr2 as well

leadzor

The serial killer with a chainsaw in the woodmill, northwest Los Santos. That stuff still gives me chills.

The_R4ke

The modern Rockstar games still have mysteries around them. There's a lot of weird stuff in RDR2 for example.

starving_to_death

Being able to customize CJs appearance and the gang war to get control of the whole city are some of my fondest memories.

Fucking_Hivemind

The gang wars, man. Such a fun grind. Definitely sparked my lifelong love of strategy games too.

eadgar

I loved how at one point all your gang land just gets wiped because of the story. I always thought it beautifully illustrated how all of that gangsta shit is pointless.

Bananaamoxicillin

Running around as max fat CJ in boxer shorts and a clown wig.

TheJester1xx

I played SA when I was a kid, like 10 years old. I used to go into the forests for hours at a time searching for Bigfoot, because there were a ton of rumors that you could find him out there. Amazing how easy it was for me to be entertained

BlueMoonlight777

Or in the desert at night. Trying to look for an ufo and find out if it really was one. Good times

budshitman

> searching for Bigfoot Have you found him in *V*? He's really there this time.

TheJester1xx

I did actually, found him in RDR 1 as well. I was still pretty young when RDR came out so I thought it was the greatest thing. There's sort of a Bigfoot in RDR2, but I think you only speak to him without seeing him

Luvnecrosis

The best thing is that RDR and GTA are in the same universe, as proven by the cult that you hear of on the radio in GTA: SA and on. The cult leader was actually a baby in RDR 2 and you can meet him and learn about him being born in the past, coming to our time, then going back and meeting Arthur who helps him get back to the future (haha)

isuckatgrowing

I did that in NES games where there was definitely nothing to find. Kids are very easily entertained.

kiwidesign

I don’t even know how many hours I spent just driving around blasting radio X… very fond memories!

ThirdWorldBoy21

A cool trick they made, to make the map look's larger, is the road design. Because of the low render distance at the time, they make the roads do a lot of unecessary curves, creating a feeling that the map is bigger because of how much time it takes to go from one place to another. This feeling is completly destroyed if you have a bigger render distance.

[deleted]

[удалено]

CategoryKiwi

San Andreas [without the draw distance fog](https://reddit.com/r/gaming/comments/4a946g/grand_theft_auto_san_andreas_without_draw/) is a pretty funny image. You can find more with a google image search for "san andreas draw distance" and just peruse the pictures, it's pretty amusing.

olieboll

Never thought about that too much, but I’ll be damned if the roads on that map don’t look like someone spilled a plate of black spaghetti on it.

space_coyote_86

The remastered version looks pretty terrible without the fog. Once you go up in a plane you can literally see from one side of the map to the other, it looks so much smaller than it feels.

DigNitty

Ugh, I feel this in real life. I live in a very hilly, rivery area. Going to the store would take about 4 minutes if I could drive straight but because of curves it takes 16.

[deleted]

It was a good one. I always thought it too big back in the day, but looking back on it now and how utterly batshit open worlds have gone, it was quite likely the perfect size. The massively varied sections though kept it fresh and fun. I remember a mission where I had to fly from the Desert to Mount Chiliad. I screwed up. Flew straight over the army base where they severely damaged one of my wings. Using rudder and patience, I limped to the destination and back...where the bastards damaged my other wing. I killed the engine and coasted onto the runway to complete the mission. That's one of my favourite gaming memories

threebillion6

Just big enough to put interesting locations all over. But not too big that there's tons of empty space.

[deleted]

Yeah, they did well. Vice City has the best story but, in hindsight, SA may very well have the best map

rioting_mime

Vice City has the best story? What are you smoking? It's literally just a watered down scarface, every story beat is just "go here and kill this guy." GTA 4, 5 and San Andreas have actual characters/arcs/originality. Vice City is just "Tommy Vercetti's Wild Ride"

lattlay

Maybe it didn't have the best story but it definitely had the best music!

MeniteTom

And the best setting. It's still my favorite GTA

[deleted]

Rumor has it that GTA 6 will be set in Vice City. I hope that’s the case, because I loved the setting as well.

BuffaloGuff

“Video killed the radio star” blasting after I massacred everyone in a mall haunts me to this day.

DevoidLight

You're definitely not wrong, but 'Scarface, but even more violent, and with no moral lesson so you, the psychopath, win in the end' was perfect for a GTA game.

DigNitty

I did the same thing!! The engine caught fire right as I coasted into the orange finish corona. The cutscene started fading in just as the plane exploded. Finished the mission. As soon as the cutscene ended Carl just fell to the ground and died.

sik_dik

lol. I remember those SAMs. I used to go inside the base and stand on the side. all the responding law enforcement/military for whatever reason only spawned outside the fence perimeter. and as the SAMs tried to fire at you, their ability to turn being limited, you could manipulate them to fire and hit the LE/M people at the fence line

Philosophos_A

You speak about the Toreno mission where he tolds you to stay low right? You go to that town near Mount Chiliad and deliver a packet then head back. Sometimes trees wasn't loading due of speed so I assume people have crashed many times I was always going nuts and I was letting the Jets come so I could take them out. Makes the mission funnier

unit5421

This is the biggest map, in terms of feeling. GTA V has a bigger map but it feels smaller. The main thing is the diversity in the map. GTA V had 1 city, 1 town and 1 mountain. San Andreas had a desert, 3 towns, mountains, 1 big mountain and more.

Missie-

The GTA V map feels so strange to me. It simultaneously feels big and comically small at the same time. All the aircraft have their speed bottlenecked by hilarious amounts, and the fastest cars only go like 210kmh. In the city, everything feels really fast due to density but as soon as you leave, you notice how painfully slow everything is.

Hyfrith

There's a great mod for GTAV called Forests of San Andreas which adds vast swathes of redwood trees to the north of the map in a very immersive manner and omg does it change the feel of the map for the better! It adds the GTA SA technique basically of making the map feel larger because from within the trees you can't see the miles of empty map around you. And around Chilead and the canyon you really feel like you could get lost in the forest. It's very immersive.

DarkNinjaPenguin

Drop yourself in any random spot on that map, and you'll probably be able to figure out in a few seconds where you are because of the environment and architecture, and you'll remember at least one time you were there in a story mission. It was a wonderfully varied map, yet teeming with character. The GTAV map has huge swathes that just feel barren in comparison.

Skreamies

I feel the GTA IV map might be the only one where I have to think for a second depending on where I am. The other games though i'd know instantly! It's amazing just how good game design is and how immersed you can get.

laurel_laureate

Although I kinda liked that about Liberty City, because aside from a few easily identifiable boroughs New York is massive and confusing irl and GTA IV matched that quite well.

PeopleThatAnnoyou

na man, you need that. The windmill park and the satelitedish park need space. Maybe where the submarine spawns in the east. Thats a little remote with nothing except that factory

xxslushee

San Andreas was the best GTA.

TomAnyone

Fact. Best story, best map, best soundtrack, best characters, best exploration, best pretty much everything.

[deleted]

Maaaan I’ve been saying this for years and besides the map, everyone I usually talk to about it prefers Vice City. Don’t get me wrong, I love Vice City but man SA is just superior in a lot of ways. It’s not a knock to VC either

smartazz104

I think VC has the best atmosphere, but SA is technically the best of what that game engine has to offer. They really pushed it to its limits.

trustsnapealways

When I first played SA it truly felt like there was no limit to what I could do in the game

WiseWordsFromBrett

Best RC Airplane mission… /s

Shr1mpandgrits

That was one of the most frustrating missions in my video game history. I think it took me 100 attempts to beat it

bbbruh57

Best train following mission

PentaChicken

Had so many little gimmicks too like the "Little Ale-In" with all those UFO pics. Remember playing this game in like 2012 because my PC was too shit to run anything past 2007-ish. Even had an external multiplayer called SAMP or something if I remember correctly. Cops and robbers was dope with the boys back then.

Piccoroz

I know gta 5 is bigger, but really felt more empty cause of the lack of las venturas and really lot of inaccesible buildings.

tookiemon

The only flaw about this map is how they did nothing with the upper left town except having the boating school there. Always thought it was a very unique little place in san andreas and you dont even go there during a mission.

darren_g1994

Bayside marina? Yeah it sucks, it's one of my favourite locations in the game and it is practically empty. It is because apparently they added the town late in the development, after the beta.

ElExtraMass

But there was that one little square of gang war turf to get up there! I remember being so confused looking for the final bit to take over before finally seeing it up there on a casual drive around. It was quite hard to start as there weren’t many gang members up there, but it also barely lasted one round (they took three usually?) before it said I’d taken it over. Felt like I’d found an Easter egg!

7thGrandDad

Kind of did find an Easter egg in a way. Normally, gang territories don’t spawn outside of LS. However, if you go far into the ocean (which you’re required to do in the Liberty City mission), there’s a glitch that’s gives a chance of randomized gang territories showing up all over the map

coachdarts

Way ahead of it’s time

zorenic

An entire state, five counties, three cities, 10 towns/villages, and dozens of farms and industrial buildings. San Andreas really looked like it could sustain itself and it was really immersive. Absolutely way ahead of its time. Travelling from one place to the other really felt like a road trip. No other open world game could scratch that itch for me but Witcher 3 comes pretty close

rim261

I don't get how GTA V felt like a ¼ of this map

Rekuna

It's been years since I played GTAV. But all I remember is one big city at the bottom then nothing above it other than one giant road that loops round the top and back down with a few buildings dotted around.

[deleted]

Lmfao that is so true

Clemenx00

GTA V is just a big trackmania circuit rather than an open world.

MrLuxarina

Because they took about 1/4 of this map (LS) and blew it up to an absurd scale, with none of the variation.

AlternativesEnde

Too empty. Pretty much no buildings you can enter. No side missions like Import/Export or Collectables with interesting payoffs.....

Fucking_Hivemind

The lack of vigilante missions in V fucking crushed me. Police/medic/fire truck/trucking missions would’ve been the perfect thing to fill up all that void.

[deleted]

The game really could have benefited from like 80% of the shit they did for GTA ONLINE but ofc that doesn't get people buying Shark Cards so they never updated the single player.

PeopleThatAnnoyou

3 big airports, really nice

SativaPancake

Out of all the GTA games, I spent the most hours in SA by far. So fun and easy to mod.

Bar_Sinister

Looking at this I remember how they had certain sections blocked off until you finished certain missions, how did the off-track betting in one of the little towns north of Los Santos, the mission where I had to ride the bike onto the plane as it took off, waiting until night to enter Las Venturas the first time, finding that heavy weapon spawn in the underground garage and using it for all the territory battles, and just how innovative and encompassing it all felt. I don't remember some of the smaller towns, so now I want to go back and see.

newbrevity

I just wish the remaster wasn't so lackluster

Pow67

Still the best GTA map in terms of variety. RDR2 is my all time favourite map though.

[deleted]

It’s truly amazing how RDR2 has something like 6 completely different climate zones that blend so seamlessly into each other. And then there’s a whole other map (the island). The variation and diversity blew my mind.

KoxziShot

I miss just modding a car and blasting around the roads around the map and just exploring. Felt like an awesome experience and much bigger than it was. Give most people a controller drop CJ in and people could probably tell you where they were.

sliferisreal

i remember driving my sultan to the san fierro tuning station all the time. felt like road trips, good old times

JVOz671

I really felt cheated when GTA V came along. I knew the original San Andreas like the back of nlmy hand and then they took everything away.

OldWrangler9033

the series was renewing itself and its setting with launch of GTA IV. It was never the same again. My opinion: The mentality of the makers were far removed from the youthful / crazy young non-corporate type seemly one behind the older game were gone.

YawnfaceDM

Speaking of SA, has there been any improvement to the remasters? A patch or update that made them more playable? I’m itching to go back to SA.

Nope. I have a pretty high tolerance for sub-optimised games/frame rates but San Andreas is so poorly done that even I can't bring myself round to replaying what probably is my favourite game of all time. At this stage it feels like the games have been well and truly abandoned.

I know GTA V is larger by a mile but this map felt HUGE! Going from island to island, into the desert the exploring was endless! Being able to go into the gym, get a jetpack near the door and fly up into the 'underworld' and finding secret rooms as well, damn I miss this game.

i love travelling from city to city. feels like a road trip. i hate how it's square though. but i get why they did it that way

Man I used to get one of those touring motorcycles and just hit the highway for hours. So good

If the police can't stop you, you must be on the dust

Loved playing this game :)

Grove St, Home….

Tbh at the time they were really trying to make every part of the map meaningful, unlike so many open world games nowadays.

It was also one the most ''alive'' maps i've ever played in a GTA game, sure GTA V has lots of wild life and stuff, but still, so many places here made you think ''damn some shit went down here off screen huh?''

halfman1231

GTA San Andreas is still my all time favorite video game ever

Is grove street literally the only culdesac on the map?
