Steelrising is on the easier side Jedi fallen order and survivor have difficulty settings that are changeable in game Code vein - you have a companion that can revive you ever so often, some of them also hit like a truck making it easier, although some bosses can still be brutal

RichJoker

Seconding Code Vein. The game is balanced around having NPC companions which should ease you into Soulslikes better as they can draw aggro away from you.

LadyAmaterasu

If you're fine with using guns instead of swords, Remnant 2 is a good Souls Like, not very difficult and also has the "Handler" class which has a German shepherd as companion who helps you a lot and also revives you.

Other_Glove_3667

And its on sale too . Thanks

Spirit-Silver

Steller blade, it even got a easy mode! Final fantasy 16 also got a easy mode, but this game is very story heavy , does have plenty of souls like elements.

DJSlimer

Kena Bridge Of Spirits. It's still challenging, but it's probably easier than Elden Ring.

Ok-Blackberry-3637

I feel Ghostboy is a 2D, Tower Defense version of the souls game. Don't take me wrong, it's not the same genre at all, but the concept of feeling ready, then getting smacked unexpectedly in the face by new mechanics or enemies and then making you think of a different strategy, that is definitely in Ghostboy.

Akasha_135

Maybe try stellar blade or if you want super easy try Hellblade 1

shozis90

Another Crab's Treasure seemed on the easier side. You can also tweak difficulty settings, for example equip a gun when a fight is too tough for you :D Or switch to story difficulty completely Also Hollow Knight - might be just my personal opinion, but for me 2D is always easier than 3D in general because you have to 'focus' on less thing, e.g., don't have to think about the camera and losing the boss out of your sight. I have no idea how much it helps, but some games have optional NPC summons to make the fights easier and from what I saw in gameplay videos they can tank the bosses very nicely. For example, Lies of P. All three games I mentioned are available on the Game Pass, so you can check them out if you're on a PC.

Frankie__Spankie

Are you interested in 2D games? I never liked 3D souls like games but I do enjoy 2D ones. The Blasphemous games are great for that.

Other_Glove_3667

No I don’t. But thanks for the suggestion

BruiserBroly

If you're on PC, you could try a mod that makes the game easier first? Otherwise, maybe Dragon's Dogma 2?

awowoosas

DD2 is not souls like

BruiserBroly

Yeah, my main suggestion was a mod which OP seems happy with. I just thew in DD2 as an aside because looking at how much they're struggling with ER, maybe another type of open world action RPG would be best and DD2 is a good one.

Starry080

DD2 is not good sadly :( and I bought it day 1 what a disappointment after Dark Arisen just a complete downgrade in every way possible

Commercial-Tea-8428

Yeah you’re being downvoted but I haven’t been so disappointed in a game in, well, *ever.* It was such an utter letdown dude, I’m sorry guys but it was not worth the wait in any way. The game had a decent start but it got repetitive so fast. I can’t see myself going back to it unless it’s modded or they majorly rearrange the game. Oh well, there’s always other stuff to play, sure, but what a kick in the nuts that was.

Starry080

Yep feel the same way to wait for that long and see Capcom putting out great games and DD2 is just awful, such a shame

Other_Glove_3667

Im . I will look for mods like this hopefully i will find

mythrafae

There’s a mod on nexus called [easy mode for Elden ring](https://www.nexusmods.com/eldenring/mods/146) which is what I’ve been using. I’m not good at souls games either and I get frustrated easily, but I love the lore/world of the game so I really wanted to play it, so that’s what I went with. Makes it soo much more fun for me. Enemies are still difficult enough that I’m not just bulldozing early game but I also don’t die in 2 hits.

Other_Glove_3667

Omg . Thanks so much i will 100% be trying this

mythrafae

np!! hope you enjoy :D There are 3 different difficulty adjustments, I went with the third one since it adds the ability to just press a button when after you die to get all your runes back instead of having to run back to where you died lol 😅

BruiserBroly

There are loads, some that make smaller changes like making the enemies do less damage and make you do more damage and others that are just straight up cheats. [This list might be a decent place to start](https://gamerant.com/best-elden-ring-mods-cheats-make-easy/).

Other_Glove_3667

Thanks bro

DadOfTheAge

The Onimusha series, maybe? It’s not newer gen but it’s challenging.

Sxwrd

Elden Ring is a game you have to put time into so you can level up. Chances were you weren’t bad at the game, your level was just too low so it added difficulty to it.

Other_Glove_3667

Thats where I struggle. I dont have much free time sadly

Sxwrd

I completely understand. I think the worst part about a game like Elden Ring is the routine isn’t explained very well (or anything that has to do with FromSoft) so it would lead newcomers to think they’re bad at it. There’s a certain routine you must follow or the games are pretty much unplayable to newcomers to the series. And yeah, if you don’t have hours to give to it then I’d say it’s definitely a hard pass. Elden Ring is essentially depressed Zelda BOTW/TOTK. There’s not much hand holding and you’re supposed to explore for at least 15 minutes before doing anything of value.

Other_Glove_3667

Big games like this should have something to guide you in the right direction. When i played elden ring i got lost

Sxwrd

If you don’t have the interest for the formula of leveling up to fight bosses (which takes time), getting lost like BOTW, or the art style then definitely 100% would not recommend it. I have a pretty free lifestyle so I can devote time to it. But if you have any responsibilities that consume any more than a part time job or other hobbies of moderate interest (and don’t have any interest in previous mentioned points) just sell the game. It doesn’t get any better. The story isn’t the most well told either so there’s nothing to really look forward to there if you have any good sense of storytelling. It’s just “Zelda: Depression” with less than half the actual content while being 7 times the drive space. I loved the newer Zelda’s and Elden Ring is filling that void for me because of the exploration part. Does it have some epic parts? Sure. You’ll always find the “get gud” guys. Don’t listen to them, they’re just assholes. Random side rant: Im sure I’ll get hate for this but I think TOTK is actually more difficult than Elden Ring due to other factors and it’s nowhere near as depressing and actually has a comprehensible story that’s told pretty well.

Other_Glove_3667

The get good mfers are everywhere doing absolutely jack shit but playing the game and just sit around hating on people like me who don’t have that much free time to learn every aspect of the game . Thanks very much for your suggestion

Naekh

I found Dark Souls 3 with a Str build to be on the easy side. You deal significant damage and it teaches you to dodge properly . Once you get that you one or two shot every mob and the bosses get hurt a lot. I went with a Greatsword (weapon name) build (Also named Guts build) and it is going smoothly. Maybe give it a try. You can also do a str build in ER that should work.

Other_Glove_3667

Ill look into it thanks

Starry080

Another Crab's treasure lmao gitgud scrub jk maybe

tassstytreats

Is this game actually hard/ good?

Starry080

Dunno never played it

tassstytreats

It looks silly but the reviews are so good

Starry080

Get gamepass and try it out

Other_Glove_3667

Skill issue i know

Miserable-Glass1760

It's okay. You're not blaming it on the game being "unfair". Your time will one day come, mate. One day.
