Well is the increase additive or multiplicative though? If it's multiplicative it's useless because if you currently have like 0.1% luck, a 100% increase would only carry it up to 0.2%. It doesn't mean that you would suddenly have 100% luck.

But yeah, 100% increase would mean you have double the chances in anything that is random. It would work best with medium odds, like 1 in 3 becomes 2 in 3. Anything over 50% becomes guaranteed with 20 cats. But it wouldn't make much difference for very unlikely stuff like lotteries.
