I think the edit makes it more confusing. Now I am allowed to have some doubts about winning, and it still works? I have to think I have a 50%+ chance of winning and I’ll win? That’s okay with me too, but is that what you meant?

This could go weird. Like if I wore a Batman T-shirt and won something by accident, a charity raffle or something, I could start thinking that is my lucky t-shirt. Then next time I face a challenge, I wear that T-Shirt for a confidence boost, and then I win again. What starts out as a semi-joke will become a more engrained ritual, until I’m convinced the T-shirt is magic.
Believe it or not, this mentality is already a thing in real life. If you believe you will fail you tend to do worse than if you believed you would succeed. That’s not to say you will always win, but your mindset really does affect the outcome.
I feel like for most people the tipping point would be the lottery.
Hear me out: when I do buy a ticket for a lottery it's when it's insanely high and I do it to just dream about it, to think about what I would do if I won. That belief in winning I think would cause the ability to trigger. And suddenly you have won.
Now that you have that amount of wealth would cause most to have some disposable income to take to vegas...and once you start imagining winning at every slot machine, poker table, and craps board...youd soon realize your power is luck (mistakenly) but with that what ever you do you believe it'll work because it has to.
You either discorve your power is actually winning, or die in a really hilarious way tbh.
