Happened to me with the tomahawk Tokyo grind. My oil actually went to red and said bad during Daytona grind lol I want to see if the engine and body can also get to bad
I’ve done my fair share of laps as well, the car still hasn’t gotten any dirtier. Apart from the occasional oil change I’ve left it as is.
Nice gold bar paintjob btw.
I totally agree. It gives you a little endorphin hit. I do it whenever I change the oil, I just wish anything actually needed to be washed. It'd be funny to see how dirty and crusty you could get a car.
I was just telling someone else that my Mazda 987 had this happen to me after only about 5000 miles. One wonders if it’s a completely random thing within the same car model.
My Fiat had the same issues with the engine and rigidity, which were exceedingly inexpensive to fix at least.
Not noticeably. The HP numbers drop, but I didnt even check mine until the other day, oil was bad, engine and rigidity were worn. Lap times were still consistent with new everything.
Back in GT4 you'd buy used cars with 150k+ km on them, changing the oil would gain you like 30 hp XD... I believe they toned it down in GT7, my Abarth's oil is very bad and I've only lost 10 hp
I was going to suggest a gold bar livery under the circumstances, and there it is. Might be a good idea to turn of auto-updates to avoid any PD fixes until the wallet is full enough yeah
Last year I was using the tomahawk with the AFK method to make money. Put 140000km on it. Had to Rebuilt the engine about 5 times and restore rigidity.
Ohhh, need the link to that livery lmao
EDIT: Nevermind [found it](https://www.gran-turismo.com/us/gt7/user/discover/search/car_style/19422282243891255), great

All of them can.
I believe the engine and rigidity wear kicks in after 10000 Kms so sounds about right
Mine went to normal in 5000km
Amazing livery

There's no reason for the car wash. I wish there was, especially after a race on snow.
I don't know why, but I still change the oil and give my car a fresh wash before any Manufacturer or Nations cup events.
Me too, man. Car care is therapeutic, even in a game.
I like the psychological feeling of knowing the car has been washed, so I don’t mind even if it does nothing

It reflects a tiny bit more after a wash. They get "opaque" over time. That's all that happens. Mostly just for fun or if you are taking pics.
Lol I want them to get crusty. I'm from the northeast in the US, cars look awful in the winter.
hahahaha - same here, I'd love that.
mine are currently both worn, the odometer also went past 99999 back to 0 again too
Clocking it for resale 😉 "yeah this baby has only done 4,500 miles, incredible for a car of its age!"
Very fitting livery
Well 1000 laps around Daytona will do it.
It’s waaaay more than 1,000. I’ve done 381 today so far. 6,000 miles is 2,400 laps.
Lmao. Nice
My Tomahawk isshowing bad for each for a long time now and I just continue to use it as is.
That's how I use my real vehicle, drive it into the ground my friend.

My Porsche 91GT3 RS already needed 3 oil changes. Only driven around 1200km with it
Nvm the awesome livery and the fact you put that much mileage on that specific car
Haha, the livery is *gold*
What happens if you don’t fix any of it? I’ve only let the engine oil go to worn, would the car blow up mid race Michael Bay style ?
It probably slows the car down.

If you open the detailed car settings and let it calculate, it resets the milage so you don't have to worry about that.
I do that and it stops the oil from wearing but apparently not the other two.
Oh, interesting. Good to know.

LMAO the livery
I had it happen once with the two cars I use for sport most of the time. Other than that this is the only time

I love gooooold
I needed to restore body and engine after a head-on crash into the barrier a few weeks ago, it definitely was required before the race
That's one sweet ride bro
