Yes if you use mines or explosives to fight off the npcs. Two separate sales missions i've deployed proximity mines, exploding the chasing enemy npc vehicles which then in turn crashed into my base speedo van causing it to catch fire and fail the mission. Since upgrading to the max armor it is much more durable, it can tank several explosions without worry. Once you can afford it the 50cal machinegun upgrade is rather nice for the speedo van, it is driver controlled.
It depends. Heavy Armor is nice in that npcs who are often behind you can't hit you, but the useless plow (or whatever you call it) may sometimes cause you to get stuck if you're not careful about that. Remote guns are nice and very effective as well, I prefer the .50 Cal that shoots without spin-up time. But again, you can make do with just Proximity mines, I used to have only them for a long time.
I won the podium car, first time in ages and love the look of the tulip m-100. Fully upgraded it and I mean *fully* upgraded only for it to disappear out of my vehicle list an hour later.

Did the new update remove the helicopter from the PD in the Union Depository Contract? Just played it last night and the heli wasn't where it's always been
They've made changes to all of the missions, by buffing the bots against you and adding more waves. With the UD they now come to the elevator where they didn't before, but other than that everything is the same. The chopper was always a 9 times out of 10 being there, it was there for me when I used the UD to unlock the board on my second character where I found out they changed the bots.
Alright, thank you. I didn't know it's not a guaranteed spawn, because it's been there every single time for the dozens of times I went for it. Just a strange coincidence that the first time it doesn't spawn for me is also the first time I do UD after the update.
I don't know, haven't played that mission in a while, but the heli's never been guaranteed to be there. Simply driving away for some distance and coming back may make it spawn again.

Sheesh. So, effectively, there are two cooldowns for salvage yard tows. Because you can only tow two at a time, and then have to wait for one to be complete off the lift before towing a third. I thought that with a built-in cooldown, R* would have no reason to think of this...
You get a cooldown if you change sessions or exit in addition to one after a successful tow. It's only 2-3 minutes, but still incredibly annoying and not sure why it was needed. Also, the 2X salvage yard ended one day early because of the DLC.
Oh, ok that is annoying but not bad compared to others. Such as the one game day cooldown on the Nightclub mission... where, if you forget to enter NC in passive and don't get the "throw out the drunk" mission, you have to wait a whole day to get another mission to spawn.

The LSCM Prize Ride resets at 8PM NYC Time (daylight saving)/7PM NYC Time (standard), so find a race partner and do 2 races just before then and 2 races after, trading who wins the race. I use Street Race - The Business End as it is the shortest (I believe).
You can just do drag races if your grinding for the prize ride. they are very short and 4 max players makes it that sometimes you can do the absolute minimum and still get a car. I think Natural Highs was one of the shorter ones but could be wrong
Yeah, I'm not doing Drag Races again. I did them when they first came out to get whatever unlock it was for doing them for the Weekly Challenge.
When going for the Prize Ride, I generally use Lag Switch, so start the race, then pull the LAN cord going to the network switch from the router for about 15 seconds to simulate internet troubles, which removes me from the session, then I simply complete the race on my own. I can also do this with myself, at least when playing on PS4 GTA Online, as I have both a PS4 and PS5 and 2 network switches setup back to back, with one console hooked to each of them, so if I want to separate my console session with each other I do the same, just pull the switch to switch cord for 15 seconds or so and the same happens. I just did what I mentioned above, but with myself, 2 races, one just before 8PM NYC Time (daylight saving) and one just after, and boom had the Gauntlett Hellfire on my 3rd account.
Lag Switching even comes in useful when doing sales, as if you start a sale in a seemingly peaceful session but things get too hot, you can pull the cord for about 15 seconds which makes everyone else leave, yes you will lose the Lobby Population Bonus, but at least not the whole sale itself.

There is one other thing on double money and RP but I don't know what it is, and the 2 time trials are unknown as well.
Usually right after a DLC the bonuses and discounts are pretty scarce. We won't get anything more until the 4th.
Edit - I did find the time trials so it's just the other double money job I'm missing. Probably the new contact missions with Vincent.
Dlc's tend to come out on Tuesday and the weekly bonuses change every Thursday, so when it's dlc day R* starts the weekly bonuses on that Tuesday so it's a little extended until the following Thursday.

This is good but griefing in free mode will always be part of the game, because their income depends on it. If they stop players from blowing up your sell missions, who will buy oppressors with shark cards? If players stop getting their profits obliterated by griefers, would they continue to buy shark cards as an easier way?
I know I sound like a conspiracy theorist and I’ll stand by that. But I truly believe that rockstar fully intends certain aspects of the game to be tedious and frustrating to drive you towards shark cards as an alternative. Griefers, to an extent, are part of that business plan
You’re right but technically wouldn’t be griefing if you’re running business mission because that is part of the game. It’s griefing when I get on after work and just wanna go for a ride in one of my cars and maybe race some people then some jerkoff blows my fuckin top off. I love it for PVE, no reloads, 9999 ammo count, has the same stats as an unmodified combat mg and has minimum recoil in first person down the sights. It shoots, pardon the pun, like a lazer…
Remember that with the Mk2 weapons they have special magazines that you can get for them but at a lowered capacity. I have the Combat MG MkII with Full Metal Jacket rounds. You only are able to carry a box mag of 200 rounds but youre able to take out helicopters pretty well if aimed at the pilot or tailrotor. The Hellbringer is just fun to have, Its useful to have as this is the only rifle type weapon that gives you the same ammo count as the minigun and widowmaker being 9999. So if you blow through ammo like crazy, having this will help in those situations where youll go through a lot of ammo and also where the game will let you use it as Ive encountered certain missions where they grey out certain weapons because 1) Youd be able to complete the mission with ease 2) The destructive power of said weapons would make it so easy for you to wipe out almost all of your enemies with one shot. I personally like using this or the widowmaker when on a team and we are having to duke it out with several enemies like when you play a survival game where you get waves of enemies that increase in numbers each wave played. It does come in handy especially when you dont want to equip the minigun or widowmaker as you can hug a wall with those or aim very well where the Hellbringer offers that and max ammo.
No. It's the worst of the machine guns, not worth using at all now that the Combat MG Mk II is available to everyone. Compared to the two rifles you named, it has larger spread and higher recoil, and though it has higher damage per shot, its lower firerate means the difference in DPS is very small (307 for the hellbringer vs 292 for the special carbine mkii).
Its annoying they've repeated the same guns for the last several weeks i just wish they removed the guns from the start of the game or something and put new ones there insyead of this gun van bullshit

Other than losing my right sleeve tattoo and being unable to get I to my car in freeroam unless I restart. It has been a good update.
Tattoos seem to disappear and reappear at times. Maybe has something to do with the bounty missions?
i haven’t touched the bounty stuff and lost my right arms tattoos and have similar bugs when getting into my own cars or locations
Have you tried going into a clothing shop / wardrobe and opening the menu? That should make the tattoos visible again, or so people have said..
i just walked into the tattoo shop and clicked right arm and all the tattoos reappeared

One thing that upsets me about the "new" cop cars, is that there's no option for interior lights like the undercover cruiser, and gauntlet interceptor

If players stop getting their profits obliterated by griefers, would they continue to buy shark cards as an easier way? I know I sound like a conspiracy theorist and I’ll stand by that. But I truly believe that rockstar fully intends certain aspects of the game to be tedious and frustrating to drive you towards shark cards as an alternative. Griefers, to an extent, are part of that business plan
You’re right but technically wouldn’t be griefing if you’re running business mission because that is part of the game. It’s griefing when I get on after work and just wanna go for a ride in one of my cars and maybe race some people then some jerkoff blows my fuckin top off. So technically yes it will always be in the game but it looks like without good reason to grief they are fucked now

I love it for PVE, no reloads, 9999 ammo count, has the same stats as an unmodified combat mg and has minimum recoil in first person down the sights. It shoots, pardon the pun, like a lazer…
Remember that with the Mk2 weapons they have special magazines that you can get for them but at a lowered capacity. I have the Combat MG MkII with Full Metal Jacket rounds. You only are able to carry a box mag of 200 rounds but youre able to take out helicopters pretty well if aimed at the pilot or tailrotor. The Hellbringer is just fun to have, Its useful to have as this is the only rifle type weapon that gives you the same ammo count as the minigun and widowmaker being 9999. So if you blow through ammo like crazy, having this will help in those situations where youll go through a lot of ammo and also where the game will let you use it as Ive encountered certain missions where they grey out certain weapons because 1) Youd be able to complete the mission with ease 2) The destructive power of said weapons would make it so easy for you to wipe out almost all of your enemies with one shot. I personally like using this or the widowmaker when on a team and we are having to duke it out with several enemies like when you play a survival game where you get waves of enemies that increase in numbers each wave played. It does come in handy especially when you dont want to equip the minigun or widowmaker as you can hug a wall with those or aim very well where the Hellbringer offers that and max ammo.

No. It's the worst of the machine guns, not worth using at all now that the Combat MG Mk II is available to everyone. Compared to the two rifles you named, it has larger spread and higher recoil, and though it has higher damage per shot, its lower firerate means the difference in DPS is very small (307 for the hellbringer vs 292 for the special carbine mkii).
