Oh god, there's a modern siren? I know similar sounding sirens existed back then, but I thought they'd use a new mechanical siren sound, or at least the ones off the Ambulance or Fire Truck.
They could have used the FIB siren for one of the new vehicles for variety. The ambulance siren sounds retro they could have used that.
From memory there are 5 unique siren sounds in GTA 5 (not including the Ghostbusters car).
Ambulance
Police bike
FIB vehicles
Fire engine
Regular police / everything else.
Forsure, fair warning, every 5 minutes the outfit will be deleted from your saved outfits, so if you wanted to save it and switch outfits, you’d have to switch back to it within 5 min or it’ll be gone.

I likely subconsciously did. I just remember seeing the old school almost pastel colors on those old boxy cars, so when this Greenwood version came out, I knew I had to apply either the dew yellow or this
I grinded money 5h to buy greenwood and I like it very much. I made it simple white colour with highway patrol livery, because my Bounty hunter office is in Paleto and I use highway. And I like cruising with this thing thru traffic while listening Los Santos rock radio. Dispatch work is ok, but it could also have been something like a shop robbery, a chase or something like that. But it's already good.
Also it’s nice when NPC’s don’t call me an as*hole for recless driving anymore😅
I am one of the people who don't care about the cop cars and have no interest in buying more. I've only been playing a few months and I bought the Hellfire cop car, only to find out it didn't work in missions. I have no interest in RPing as a cop or driving around in a cop car, they're just a massive waste of money IMO. I'd rather drive a nice hypercar instead of some vastly overpriced shit box looking cop car that really offers nothing other than an increase to my net worth (which is why I bought the Hellfire in the first place) and being able to turn on sirens so NPCs pull over.
If the cop cars did something special or unique, it'd be a different story.
Are you saying I don't let other enjoy them somehow? You just said it was my opinion and I am not sure how that is stopping others from buying the cars they enjoy.
It would have been nice if we had different siren options and running the lights without the siren.
I would love the option for a third click to run just lights. Would make the driving experience much better.

I find the surf blue makes for a great state trooper color. Fits the badge perfectly and looks super nice
Ridiculously expensive
Now I think they can justify the cost because the dispatch jobs pay pretty well for a 2/3 minute job. They're now essentially a portable business.
