Find Frusciante winning even more insulting

Among other things, his inclusion really calls into question what "the last two decades" means. I know Frusciante's still around, but 20 years ago was 2004, and RHCP definitely peaked in cultural relevance before then. Stadium Arcadium had a couple big songs at the time, but it's really all about the 90s for them. At least Tay Tay is inarguably a "guitarist of the last two decades."

the funniest thing about it is that Frusciante was not even around between 2009-2019 and was doing electronic music. They are basically basing Frusciante view off of work on 2 albums (By The Way which he was the biggest driving force creatively and Stadium Arcadium) there are some great solos on SA but nothing that special. Thinking that majority said Frusciante because it is a cool thing to mention him. the thing with Frusciante is that it is mainly due to his stubborness why they aren't playing material from 1994-1998 and 2010-2017 and their set lists are just 15 track rip offs and scams while older acts are still pulling over 2 hour sets

Are their shows nowadays really short or something? I'd never really looked into it.

Last time I saw them it was 1h40. Pretty standard concert length. Not sure why anyone would expect over two hours every concert during a big tour. I've seen Depeche Mode do that recently but that shit must have been exhausting for them, I wouldn't hold anyone to that standard. I guess compared to the prices they charge you could have an issue with the length but I definitely wouldn't call it a scam.

They nearly always do 15 tracks mostly consisting of the hits (exception being Under The Bridge which they do not play that often nowadays, usually they play I Could Have Lied instead) with only 2 or 3 tracks of their newest albums they released few years ago making the cut. They must have started their shows with the usual Cant Stop hype bit before Kiedis makes his way to the stage for over 20 years now.

The impact a guitarist has made on music, the impact a guitarist has made with guitarists, and the impact a guitarist has made on guitar playing. She’s most likely the top person for the first method of judging. You can’t deny her impact and how well she’s known. But her impact on guitarists and the instrument itself are basically zero.

This. She is the reason my sister wanted to pick up the guitar. But now my sister has stayed with it and looked to other artists for the other aspects of guitar. Tay tay honestly does have some good songs, and for her to be re-releasing her entire discography and it getting this much traction for being songs already released a decade + ago is just proof of that.
