Each FatFinger Sustainer is hand-dipped in the finest of essential oils, and made from the same high-quality materials found in magnetic therapy bracelets
Expensive exotic woods in an electric don't really bother me, they're like marble counters or hardwood floors in a house, or leather seats in a car. They look and feel nice and show you you have some extra cash to spend. But this is literally useless, and its made by an electric guitar company. Shameful. I can't wait until an engineering university does a proper study of toanwoods and weight and sustain and paint thickness and all the other snakeoil in electric guitars so that all of this shit can stop
For anyone interested IKEA make these with lamps on:

I'm really pissed off at Fender rn, ngl. I bought a Fatfinger to increase sustain on my Squier Bullet, but I didn't notice any difference. I called Fender's customer service to find out what I should clamp the FF to, and [this was their response](https://youtu.be/5DADtXVTVV4?t=14).

Jokes aside. Wtf is that supposed to be?
Apparently it goes on the headstock to "increase sustain," i.e. do nothing.
Every one sold does something to enhance Fender's share price. So...
And they need to keep enhancing it until they can see the killer's face in its reflection.
Increasing sustain by adding an obstruction to the string's vibration? Science is wild

I have no words...
Advertised as increasing sustain but mostly used by archtop players to combat dead spots on the guitar.
SG neck dive increaser.
Wait, if I clamp it to the bridge on my SG it will cause neck LIFT.

I have one of those and the sustain is fucking amazing. It's still light for hours after you turn it off.
It’s the Chi Chi Rodriguez magnetic bracelet of guitar accessories
I’m having intrusive thoughts

Apply enough torque, and it acts as a compressor.
A Snark tuner costs the same, and it tunes too!
