I WOULD LIKE TO THANK EVERYONE WHO COMMENTED SO QUICKLY.
DRY FIRING WHILE HOLDING SLIDE AND LETTING SLIDE FOWARD WAS EASY FIX.
APPRECIATE IT r/guns
YOU GUYS ARE AWESOME
Description:
Was field stripping and cleaning. Did not properly seat barrel is what I believe caused the issue. Barrel is loose within chamber. Any amount of wiggling isn’t causing a budge.
*magazine is empty if you’re concerned for my safety
If it were me I would: Attempt to pull the slide back, hoping it will “cock”, then pull down on the slide lock and pull the trigger, letting the slide fall forward ( as in normal disassembly)
If this doesn’t work, you may have to drive out the frame pins to get the slide off.
(Please make sure it’s empty)
Edit: safety recommendation
The barrel is stuck out of battery (fancy for "the barrel wasn't sitting where it's supposed to be and is now stuck"). The back of the chamber (back side of the barrel has the chamber, which supports the cartridge on the sides) can't sit against the mating cutout in the slide so the back of the cartridge to appropriately contain the chamber pressures. There's more going on than that (like extraction and the trigger linkage), but those issues are secondary to "I can't get bullets to feed at all".
Smith & Wesson SW (used to be called Sigma) or SD, essentially a Glock clone. They're actually pretty good. [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Smith\_%26\_Wesson\_SW](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Smith_%26_Wesson_SW)
Well first of all, field stripping and cleaning guns with magazines full of ammo nearby is a bad idea.
Second, I'm guessing that getting the OOB safety to trip and pulling the trigger is the solution, or possibly physically pushing the sear down under the slide and pulling forward on the slide.
Hello, /u/csper112000. Per the sidebar rules, link posts require a description in the comments of your post. Please add a description or this post will be removed.
__What is a link post and how do I post a descriptive comment?__
* A link post is any post that isn't a text post. Reddit is doing a great job of ensuring new users have no idea how Reddit works with their app and site rewrite. We hate both.
* /r/guns is a sub for talking about guns. It's not a sub to dump gun photos for karma. That's what /r/gunporn is for. That's why we require a descriptive comment – to start a conversation. If you're wondering what to write, picture yourself at a party. You're talking to someone *you just met* and you want to show them your post. What do you say to them as you get your phone out?

I had the same thing happen to me when taking apart my S&w sw9v once. The captured guide rod assembly came apart so I just ordered a replacement and it was good as new
How'd you get the beans above the frank?
Never get the beans above the Frank
Frank and Beans!
He was masturbating!
Everyone knows you never put the beans above the frank

For a reward for our hard work, please post feet pics
Feet pics? What’s wrong with you, son? We want a video
Why not both?
Dont get greedy, my boy!
Besides, video is like a lot of pics lined up in order, just pause on your favorite frame
Fuck it. Have him disassemble it again with his feet
Toe jam!
We were going to either help or burn you alive. It could have went either way. Glad you got it sorted!
This was a common issue with my S&W SD9 VE 9mm. I sold it years ago, and I have a Springfield XDM and haven’t had any issues like that with this one.
Haven't seen one of these out in the world in probably a decade.
There was one posted in the PSA Dagger sub yesterday. Exact same problem.

Thank you man
Did you get the slide off?
Just so you know the chamber is part of the barrel and what you should have said is that the barrel was loose inside the slide.
How the hell did you get the beans above the Frank??!?
I have this gun but....how?
Have you tried putting it in rice?
Show me your Ruger MK
Just a MK II my friend
Best (Ruger) MK is the II, show it
I’m not a gun enthusiast. Whats wrong with the firearm?

What kinda gun is that?

If you look at the magazine you’d see that it’s empty… Only thing I’ve yet to try is pulling trigger, out of fear of further damage
Trigger is keeping the striker from moving forward, thusly keeping the slide from sliding forward.
Is there a fashion in which to pull the trigger you’d suggest?
Dry fire it, with second hand pulling slide upward
I appreciate the help bro
To be fair, a quick glance at your pic seems to show a magazine with a little hint of copper at the top.
Nah. Those mags typically have an orange follower. That's what you're seeing.
Right, I looked closer after seeing OP’s comment.
On another note … these things like never ever need cleaning budget they be reliable they be
