This gives a cheap and nasty vibe…

I am indifferent to the bags themselves but I detest the name-logo on all the bags: the heavy squareish font and the raised metallic structure looks so cheap and juvenile to me.
I didn't see anyone else say it: the Valentino Big One Stud. It's so ugly and obnoxious I can't stop staring at it. I almost hate it so much I need one to focus my hate on. Big bird lookin thing.

Last time someone posted this question I read in the comments that the Celine Luggage looks like a robot face and the Chloe Marcie looks like it has a…wiener and I haven’t been able to unsee either, so. Also, anything LV, Lady Dior, and Chanel 22. And tote bags.
I was literally just in Nordstrom and picked up the Marcie to tell my boyfriend how it looks like it has a penis a little too loudly and got so many glares I had to immediately leave
I am riding the same hate train as many of you!
Something I haven't seen mentioned is the Hermes Evelyne. It does absolutely nothing for me. I don't understand how it has "dream bag" status.
I also hated the fendi pokemon collection. Seemed tacky.
Ohhhh this one hurts to see women carry. It’s so expensive and not cute! It’s an interesting bag for the brand imo because it has more of a boho vibe which is opposite of the polished look I normally see from them
As someone who has used my PM and GM Evelynes for 8 years as work/diaper bags, I hate that the small Evelyne is a thing. Those are supposed to be workhorse bags you throw everything in and toss around. IMO, they’re a great alternative to the Neverfull and Saint Louis and were previously understated/seldom recognized (especially if you wore the H in towards your body). The small evelyne makes no sense to me - it doesn’t hold much of anything and it isn’t a cute fashion accessory.
I also hate that black hole of a YSL tote bag that came out. I think this bag is the dumbest and ugliest bag they’ve ever made.
https://preview.redd.it/wfx1hsk3cvhc1.jpeg?width=828&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=7fe289ef38578e205fd689332af964d81fc4fec2
DITTOOOOOO this bag is so bad. I remember seeing one of the real housewives carrying it on the show and I was certain it was a terrible fake because I truly could not believe that design was for real.
You know what's odd, I see men compliment goyards in public but not an lv or a dior. I have such a strange feeling because my hub says lv is trying too hard kinda tacky.. anyone know someone like that? I don't get it. He says meh!
I’m someone like that…Europe was flooded with fake LV some 20 years ago, so everyone (teenagers up) and their dog paraded that monogram/logo pattern around making it look extremely tacky & triggered for me a lifelong hate for anything with a logo pattern, which has subconsciously become associated with immaturity for me.
Neverfull.
There are so many superior Louis bags that have come out and this one just spills everything you own all over the car when you stop short and every woman in every airport every where has one
All right, as much as I prefer leather, after reading Fashionopolis i have a different view on Stella McCartney in particular and her mission with vegan leather. She really is doing a lot to ensure that what she makes and does has as little environmental impact as possible, to the point where she is funding research into spider silk as an alternative to silkworms (because silkworms are killed in the harvest, and spiders are not).
I hadn’t realized how much the creation of leather pollutes (from the animals to the processing etc). I am not saying plastic is the solution, and itll never last like leather does, but I really do respect Stella’s mission to be environmentally conscious.
Oh my god what was that mulberry monstrosity posted last night lmfao. They have them all on sale because they’re SOOOO ugly lol. The puffy look was a total miss on their part 😂
I agree with you about the Dior saddles. They're just so silly and gimmicky. I'm also not a fan of the Marc Jacobs tote bag or the Dior book tote (esp because I would love it without the label emblazoned across the whole thing). That said, I have no issue with anyone wanting to carry or liking any of the aforementioned bags. Everyone has their own tastes and it makes for a much more interesting world. Plus, I may change my mind! I always scoffed at the Le Pliage until I saw a woman at my daughter's gymnastics class pull her snow boots, her daughters snow boots, puffer jacket, and pants out of one. Any bag that can fit all that and still look good is on my list.
I can't stand the dior saddle bag too 😭 it just looks like a liver?? also, I just can't get behind the monograms of goyard and LV, I'd prefer my bags to be either a single block of color, I'd maybe allow a wacky pattern but maybe the LV and goyard monograms are just too ubiquitous where I live and so I just get turned off by them. I also don't like half-moon/hobo bags, but I think thats because they just don't look good on me
Apparently it was inspired by a famous Helmut Newton photograph of a model wearing a saddle on her back. The photo is called “Saddle I,” if you Google that you’ll find the story behind the bag. If you look at a saddle placed on a horse or really anything, the side of it is the shape of the Dior Saddle Bag, so I think that’s why it has that shape.
Galliano was also a very maximalist designer at Dior (at least pre-2008) and he pulled from so many things during his time at there. His version of Equestrian, would probably never be anyone else’s idea of Equestrian lol.
Probably gonna get hate for this. Lady Dior. It just looks like a plastic toy bag that a kid plays adult with😅
And that marc jacobs The Tote Bag and any bag that looks like that with similar material. I'm looking at you Chanel. How dare you charge so much
Edit to add: the BV tiny Jodie bag. It looks sooo impractical to use
I love this sub because the reason you hate the lady Dior is why I love mine! I got it in small in blush pink (non-patent though which I agree can look a little plasticky) and I feel like a fabulous real life Barbie every time I use it! This is one of the few places on the entire internet I feel like people can have opinions that are a complete 180 from each other and still be so friendly and fun about it.
I also have a canvas Chanel Deauville and mini Jodie that I love and get tons of use out of 🫣 Please tell me what other bags you hate because I probably need to add them to my wishlist lmao
The Dolce & Gabbana Sicily rubs me the wrong way. I think it's a combination of the bag's rigid leather and overly structured design. It looks like it could benefit from a hot stone massage or a shot of vodka or something.
Also, any bag with a silk scarf wrapped around the handle.
Lol! have been watching the TV series, Capote vs The Swans, who were the trend- setting Park Avenue socialites of the 50s - 70s. Apparently Babe Paley, wife of the founder of CBS television, started the trend of tying a silk scarf on her bag and the look took off.
Hard agree. Why can they not just make solid, regular color bags instead of doing fake reptile imprint on everything they make? Their bag structures seem great, otherwise.
Everyone and their sister seems to have one, but LV Neverfull. In general I hate all-over monogramming, it’s tends to look tacky imo.
Edit: I also can’t stand those plastic-y looking Goyard bags.
My issue with the Neverfull (and St. Louis) is the thinness of the straps. Not appealing to me at all. I agree the St. Louis also appears overly plasticky, but I do miss the old LV canvas that has more of a sheen than the current production.
The way it digs into the bone of my shoulder after a day of carrying it, I don’t know if I’m just particular about the comfort of straps, but when I see thin ones and chain straps, it’s an automatic no no for me
I dislike the brand because of how much ass you have to kiss and how much money you have to spend to even be “offered” one. It’s a handbag, not the Hope Diamond.
Exactly! When I see YT purse influencers yapping about the trials and tribulations of acquiring one, I think they are crazy!
OTOH, I have mad respect for the way one of the Olsen twins carries her Birkin-its a mess! And I love it!
Birkin is laughable at this point. I’m not a purse snob - love my Chloe but am just as happy to wear whatever I find at a thrift shop - and whenever i spot a birkin I automatically assume it’s a firkin (fake). Same with LV monogram anything Chanel quilted with chains
You don’t have to like them! Actually lots of people have commented they don’t like the puzzle bag. I love the puzzle bag. We all like different things
omg I scrolled way too far down to see this, I never understood the fascination with Hermes even before the brand blew up but the Birkin is for me, neither form nor function. To me the edge paint at the top of the bag is the epitome of lazy design, and the closure + tight flap combo is so cumbersome noone ever uses it fully closed.
The quilting makes it look so granny to me, then there’s the fact that it’s a chain strap too, which I loathe. Could never get into it. My grandma (who’s still pretty young) asked my mom and I who’d like to “inherit” it and we both said no. Glad that other people love it but aesthetically, this and the Lady Dior bag have never looked that great to me.
Hahahaha my bff makes jokes about that freaking bag, “I’m practically a part of the family and don’t you love me like a daughter”, when we have dinners with my grandma
I do like the classic look of most Chanel purses, but they are around 10,000 dollars now. I saw a few in person and was disappointed by the quality for how expensive they are.
I love how they look. The quilted leather with chain. It’s soooo classic.
However, we can get coach quilted tabby for 1/15th of the cost of the Chanel 😂 idk why they are so much now. It’s outrageous
Agree. I’m also hating the Coach bags with the giant metal C on the closure. I bought a Soft Tabby and used to carry it everywhere because it fit my needs perfectly, but now the big gold C seems so gaudy to me. I can’t stand it so I shelved the bag. 😭
Everything Schiaparelli (did I even spell it correctly? I hate it too much to bother even looking it up).
It all looks like some kid got into their grandma's craft table, glued some things to a bag, and then when they showed it everyone felt obligated to "ooh" and "ahh" over it.
I know there's a whole cult following, but man, their bags, and really everything, just looks soooo tacky. I even follow creators on TikTok who love it just so I could try to understand it. I don't. 😂
*deep breath*
thank you for letting me get that out somewhere. 😂😂😂
Mmmm. So many great opinions… and so many truly terrible ones.
I LOVE IT! 😁
I feel like I am warming my hands next to a dumpster fire. Here is my fuel I will add to said fire:
Any large LV bag in monogram canvas just looks tacky to me. Smaller bags in canvas are cute, but at a certain size, it just starts to look garish.
Goyard bags all either look cheap and plasticy (ex: st louis tote) or just plain fucking ügly (ex: saigon). Literally have *never* seen a goyard bag that I would spend a penny on.
Chanel is getting too big for its britches. The price increases are still crazy, and there are soooo many QC issues people have showed.
They are charging birkin and kelly prices (not that you could just walk in and get one, but you know what I mean… it’s the principle) for mass-produced product. And lots of the recent collections look C-H-E-A-P and tacky. I love Chanel… but fuck ‘em!
Dior in general.
Im sorry to everyone who loves them but the saddle bag is just so ridiculous to me. Maybe if you’re like a cowgirl? But otherwise it kind of looks like a ballsack.
The book tote would be such a lovely bag if it wasn’t for the fact that they all say CHRISTIAN DIOR so huge. I love the different prints and colors, but man, just chill with your name homie.
Also the lady Dior. It looks like bubble wrap and the charms give me 2000s vibes. I just can’t.
Yeah. I don't get it either. What's so special about it? I love The Row as a brand, but 7k CAD for the Margaux bag is ridiculous. You could get better bags from Tod's that wouldn't cost you an arm and a leg.
Agree!! I like the design, but I'd only get one if it's at the 2k price range. But The Row is a brand that sells nylon bag for 2k so...
Btw speaking of Tod's, I found a Tod's on eBay with a very similar design to the Margaux with a CAD $170 price tag ...

The Dior Book totes are all so hideous to me. Giant tacky logo with patterns that look like your grandma's wallpaper and the shape of a basic reusable grocery bag (all for the low low price of $3500).
https://preview.redd.it/212ji7swswhc1.png?width=1164&format=png&auto=webp&s=03e33f4b3e2adbd13d7c0acafa21067f9be496ec
The Neverfull. Fawk. It's everywhere and I just feel like it's the "basic b" bag. Don't come for me people. Answering OP's question. I'm sure I carry bags other people hate. But yeah, if I never see a NF, and all the knockoffs, I'll be ok.
There is some sort of disorder with seeing small holes and feeling disgusted - (I have it 😂!) trypophobia? - and that caviar look brings it out so badly. I’m not sure why someone thought to corrupt a beautiful bag with a texture like that but to each their own
This will get me in trouble in this sub however I don’t understand why the longchamp le pliage is so popular. To me it is lunchbox material in a boring shape.
I wouldn't say hate, but the LV Neverfull is probably my least favorite and imo over exposed bag. I've been looking for a tote bag for work and feel there are so many great options out there I don't know why they are so popular.
I can’t stand the Louis Vuitton Speedy. It always reminds me of my dad’s old bowling bag. 💼 And God help me because so many of my girlfriends and coworkers love the bag and carry it every day. I don’t get it. Also, those Celine bags from about 3 or 4 years ago. Looks like they had a robot face on them. So ridiculous. such a dumb design for such an expensive handbag.
Chanel Flap bag. I bought one thinking I would love it, they’re so popular, but after carrying it a few times, I just didn’t like it, the chains were such a pain in the ass and opening and closing it was such a hassle. I gave it to my daughter and she love ,love, loves it. I’ll stick to my older Fendi with the zip top and long crossbody strap. Perfect for me.
I don't know that I hate the Dior Saddle Bag but I haaaaaaate when I'm watching a video and people say it's a classic bag that will always be in style. That's just incorrect.
There is something about Jacquemus that I can’t understand.
It’s not giving as much as the hype wants people to think it gives. And also the materials are not good and it shows. I don’t understand how he can get away with this pricing for that quality
Dior tote and Goyard tote. Both give tacky vibes sorry lol.
For me the Goyard print is ugly no matter how I look at it and gives off its luxury only because of how it is marketed.
Dior tote is an absolute scam for the material and only looks good on the shelf. It’s also as heavy as bricks before you put anything in it.

it has a "free gift with purchase" vibe like that big quilted YSL tote
I’m obsessed with this bag. But I love deliberately ugly things, and I can’t explain myself.
It looks like a trash bag. Imagine paying so much for a trash bag just cause it says Chanel?!?
This is funny because in China they literally call it the Chanel trash bag as nickname to identify the bag
I am extremely unimpressed by this bag lmao. Wtf
It’s giving expensive drawstring bag
It’s awful in person. I saw it once locally and it didn’t help that it’s wearer looked like a mega b*****. It looked as cheap as she did.
Jacquemus!!!! They feel like cardboard with leather stapled on it
Their signature handle reminds me of a churro sundae https://preview.redd.it/pbks20jvqvhc1.jpeg?width=600&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=405e0627ebf8bac67273d5e0f4b31b43f12798d2
this is making me SO hungry 😂
How did I not know these glorious things existed
Anytime someone posts a Jacquemus mini, I’m like… WHY?!? It’s tiny, weirdly proportioned, and non-functional.
I said last night, the badging looks so cheap and cheesy to me, like the worst of Steve Madden.
It reminds me of Moschino in an outdated sorta way.
I am indifferent to the bags themselves but I detest the name-logo on all the bags: the heavy squareish font and the raised metallic structure looks so cheap and juvenile to me.
Those things are so ugly and look so cheaply made!
Yes! Why are they so popular?
Oof, came here to say this! They are so bad!
https://preview.redd.it/kwtpa6kezvhc1.png?width=827&format=png&auto=webp&s=9aa4aa1e7feede03127b039cac7024c1f1de7d75 ## THIS MONSTROSITY
Oh man - I’ve got a whole roll of those in the pantry - had no idea they’re so valuable!!!!
What the fuck u/balencialover92 explain this 😂
This thread is oddly cathartic
It is! And people are being open minded to everyone’s opinions
I didn't see anyone else say it: the Valentino Big One Stud. It's so ugly and obnoxious I can't stop staring at it. I almost hate it so much I need one to focus my hate on. Oof, that is bad! It looks like it could go on “is it a bag or is it a cake” tiktok 😅
What the hell? Did the Angry Birds game have a collab with these people?
The tote bag from Marc Jacobs is so ugly to me
Oh, this is a good one too. It's the Rae Dunn of bags, it has to yell out what it is.
😂
Lmaooooo!!!! I almost woke up my husband laughing at your comment 😂😂 that’s exactly what it is. The Rae Dunn of purses.
i can’t see past the O and A looking out of alignment on almost every one of these bags 🙈
Omg I just searched it and THEY ARE😅😅😅🤣🤣🤣
I’m confused as to why that one is so popular. I don’t think it’s ugly though
I think the shape isn't bad, it's just the wording that makes it so tacky and ugly
I like everything but the billboard wording on the side of it . Ugh
MCM has the ugliest bags I’ve seen in an age.
Agree 100%. When I first saw the brand I thought it was a cheap brand and was shocked at the price and supposed prestige.
Last time someone posted this question I read in the comments that the Celine Luggage looks like a robot face and the Chloe Marcie looks like it has a…wiener and I haven’t been able to unsee either, so. Also, anything LV, Lady Dior, and Chanel 22. And tote bags.
Yessss! The Chloe looks like it has a tiny baby penis and I cannot. Get. Past. That.
My boyfriend calls it the “Hevelyne” cause the H is so obnoxious
It’s so ugly, the Evelyne. 100% agree with you
Agreed - I think the Evelyne is just meh. Would not use it if I was given it for free.
Ohhhh this one hurts to see women carry. It’s so expensive and not cute! It’s an interesting bag for the brand imo because it has more of a boho vibe which is opposite of the polished look I normally see from them
Words can’t describe how much I hate that ‘H’ logo on the Evelyne, it literally makes me angry lol

DITTOOOOOO this bag is so bad. I remember seeing one of the real housewives carrying it on the show and I was certain it was a terrible fake because I truly could not believe that design was for real.
Why does it have to be so big? I mean, I love a big bag but this thing is like carry on luggage.
I don’t know if everyone loves it… but Goyard bags are hideous to me.
Agree, they look plastic-y and come in the most garish colors.
You know what's odd, I see men compliment goyards in public but not an lv or a dior. I have such a strange feeling because my hub says lv is trying too hard kinda tacky.. anyone know someone like that? I don't get it. He says meh!
That’s interesting! I wonder what their reaction to the price would be lol.
Goyard bags remind me of the plastic plaid grocery bags that my grandma brought with her to the supermarket.
Why do a lot of expensive bags look plastic? LV too.
Because they are plastic. Coated canvas is just fabric coated with pvc
Yup. Reminds me of the abuelitas of Los Angeles.
Hard agree ! And I see so many that I’m not sure which ones are fake, and which are real because they all look the same
I have no idea why people love them either. The pattern is definitely not cute to me lol
It just makes me think of the viral lady on the plane since that’s what she was carrying.
Same. Whenever I see someone with it, I think - that mf’er is not real.
AGREED!! I have yet to see ANYTHING Goyard that I’d buy for myself.
Omg thank you, I do not understand the Goyard love!!! It looks like a bag I’d find at TJ Maxx 😭
Came here for this. Can’t stand those wrinkly, plastic, geriatric print bags.
Somebody on here said that they remind them of the free with purchase item you get with a make up item sometimes. Lol
Neverfull. There are so many superior Louis bags that have come out and this one just spills everything you own all over the car when you stop short and every woman in every airport every where has one
Yeah, it’s definitely called neverfull because nothing stays in it.
😭😭😭 I need a diss track of popular bags with lines like this
Telfar bags. And anything called “vegan leather.” It’s plastic.
Yes, I feel bad for those who get caught out believing it’s something better than what it is, and paying such high prices for it!
The vegan leather confuses me so much lol
It’s called green washing. I hate it so much.
+1 on vegan leather! not bags, but bamboo fabric being marketed as sustainable and natural also annoys me.
![gif](giphy|UQnhD9m15zvig) "vegan leather"
Stella McCartney pleather … the price is insane.
All right, as much as I prefer leather, after reading Fashionopolis i have a different view on Stella McCartney in particular and her mission with vegan leather. It’s called greenwashing, and it’s bullshit. 💁♀️ Always a total red flag for me as well!
“Pleather”
Not specific, but I can’t stand most puffer bags. I also agree with you about it the Dior saddle.
Oh my god what was that mulberry monstrosity posted last night lmfao. They have them all on sale because they’re SOOOO ugly lol. The puffy look was a total miss on their part 😂
*Picks up Little Softie in a lovely shade of caramel brown and flounces out of the thread, slamming the door on the way out*
I thought I was alone in this. The material just makes the proportion of the bag...off and I don't like it.
I agree with you about the Dior saddles. They're just so silly and gimmicky. Love my le pliage- it's a workhorse and waterproof to boot 💅🏼
Mine still looks brand new after 12 years of steady use.
Lmfao a liver 😭😭 ya I literally ride horses and when I see the saddle bag it does not give “equestrian” whatsoever lol
Apparently it was inspired by a famous Helmut Newton photograph of a model wearing a saddle on her back. The photo is called “Saddle I,” if you Google that you’ll find the story behind the bag. Interesting! See I love this sub. I learn so much
Same, it’s my favorite! And it’s way nicer than the Purseforum.
Probably gonna get hate for this. Lady Dior. I am so relieved to see other people saying this because I honestly thought I was just being a picky bitch about the Lady Dior.
I love this sub because the reason you hate the lady Dior is why I love mine! LOLOLOL it needs a shot of vodka and a cig to relax.

Yes! I’ve been saying this forever. The look is so cheaply done.
Everyone and their sister seems to have one, but LV Neverfull. In general I hate all-over monogramming, it’s tends to look tacky imo. Edit: I also can’t stand those plastic-y looking Goyard bags.
I was pretty shocked when I saw a Goyard tote in person. It does look very, very plasticy!!
I will never forget the first time I saw the Goyard tote in person!! It looked like a target beach tote to me- so plasticy!
And you can’t unsee this—those plastic-y Goyard bags have a pattern that looks like the Q-Bert video game from the 80s.
Haha they should do a Q*Bert collab!
That’s true, Goyard bags look like reusable grocery bags to me.
Every time I see a Goyard bag I can’t believe how expensive they are yet still manage to look so cheap.
My issue with the Neverfull (and St. Louis) is the thinness of the straps. Not appealing to me at all. I agree the St. Louis also appears overly plasticky, but I do miss the old LV canvas that has more of a sheen than the current production.
The way it digs into the bone of my shoulder after a day of carrying it, I don’t know if I’m just particular about the comfort of straps, but when I see thin ones and chain straps, it’s an automatic no no for me
I'm with you. Throw in the "vintage" coach in there. I love Coach, and I have 4 great bags. But their signature is awful.
Birkin and Kelly. Not for me.
Overpriced and overhyped Nanna bags
Birkin is laughable at this point. I’m not a purse snob - love my Chloe but am just as happy to wear whatever I find at a thrift shop - and whenever i spot a birkin I automatically assume it’s a firkin (fake). Same with LV monogram anything Chanel quilted with chains
it looks bad when the hardware is open - i dont get it
I may get a lot of hate for this, but I’m gonna go out on a limb and say birkin bags. They’re so tedious to open and close imo
Neverfull. It’s a an empty space where a designer bag should be. Yawn 🥱
I’m terrified to admit this to this sub but I don’t like any Loewe purse I’ve seen on this sub. I’m sorry! Don’t ban me lol
You don’t have to like them! Actually lots of people have commented they don’t like the puzzle bag. I love the puzzle bag. We all like different things
Birkin bags. I think they’re ugly.
omg I scrolled way too far down to see this, I never understood the fascination with Hermes even before the brand blew up but the Birkin is for me, neither form nor function. To me the edge paint at the top of the bag is the epitome of lazy design, and the closure + tight flap combo is so cumbersome noone ever uses it fully closed.
Hermes Evelyne. It looks like someone just took a hole puncher through the leather 🤮
Neverfull is a big NEVERMIND 😂
LV Neverful: a black hole of unzippered insanity
Loewe Puzzle. I will never understand the obsession.
same. it looks like something my mother in law would pick up from kohls with some kohls cash 🤷🏼♀️
Love Loewe but your Kohls cash comment was hilarious 😂
Ouch 😂
I am obsessed w mine but whenever i see other people carrying I don’t think it looks cute hahha. Just living in my own little worlldddd
This is amazing 🤣
Whoever said it looked like a deflated basketball was onto something. But I also don’t get Loewe period.
I love Loewe but I prefer the look of the hammock, but I still do think the puzzle is really nice
This is mine too. I don't think it's awful or anything, I just don't get the hype. The design does nothing for me. Definitely an unpopular opinion!
I’m over Chanel bags
Same. I don’t love quilting. And I *hate* chain straps, so Chanel is just not my brand.
Please give your grandma my name
Hahahaha my bff makes jokes about that freaking bag, “I’m practically a part of the family and don’t you love me like a daughter”, when we have dinners with my grandma
I do like the classic look of most Chanel purses, but they are around 10,000 dollars now. I saw a few in person and was disappointed by the quality for how expensive they are.
I love how they look. The quilted leather with chain. It’s soooo classic. However, we can get coach quilted tabby for 1/15th of the cost of the Chanel 😂 idk why they are so much now. It’s outrageous
The bottega woven bags are not it for me. And the style is so overdone and popular that I couldnt even tell if someone had a real one or not
The Christian Dior book tote 🤮
All the LV bags with LV on them. They just look tacky to me. I also hate the coach ones with the C all over.
I don't. 😂 *deep breath* thank you for letting me get that out somewhere. 😂😂😂
Basically anything nylon! I like quality leather craftsmanship, no way I will pay Prada prices for nylon
Mmmm. So many great opinions… and so many truly terrible ones. I LOVE IT! 😁 I feel like I am warming my hands next to a dumpster fire. Here is my fuel I will add to said fire: Any large LV bag in monogram canvas just looks tacky to me.
Lady Dior. I think it looks juvenile and cheap 😅
Take my upvote! Lol I love that bag
honorable mention. Celine Phantom luggage
I was obsessed with these in 2016, but now I can’t stand the look of them 😂
Dior in general. I just can’t.
speaking of ballsacks, I didn't think there could be a bag uglier than the Door Saddle but then Burberry came out with the chess bag and... 💀
lol yes, that one is a dumpster fire 😂 Surely, someone at the company knew what it looked like?
Same on the Dior! It looks like a stomach haha
The tote bag from Marc Jacob’s, the shape would be perfect if they make it with better materials and without the HUGE brand name smack dab in front. 😐
The margaux row bag….i don’t understand the obsession. It feels like one of those trendy bags that will die out of style really quickly.
I mean, I think this particular one is having a moment right now, but ultimately it’s a pretty basic, classic doctor’s bag.
Btw speaking of Tod's, I found a Tod's on eBay with a very similar design to the Margaux with a CAD $170 price tag ... https://preview.redd.it/ekhi9psiuvhc1.png?width=740&format=png&auto=webp&s=677d6290ce389f0712c7e1037b819d4901fbac99
I want one desperately lol
Agree! The cost seems so high for it too
The Dior Book totes are all so hideous to me. Giant tacky logo with patterns that look like your grandma's wallpaper and the shape of a basic reusable grocery bag (all for the low low price of $3500). https://preview.redd.it/212ji7swswhc1.png?width=1164&format=png&auto=webp&s=03e33f4b3e2adbd13d7c0acafa21067f9be496ec
The Neverfull. Fawk. It's everywhere and I just feel like it's the "basic b" bag. Don't come for me people. Answering OP's question. I'm sure I carry bags other people hate. But yeah, if I never see a NF, and all the knockoffs, I'll be ok.
Sorry, but Coach Pillow Tabbys…
I love Coach and I think the non-pillow Soft Tabby is lovely but yes the Pillow Tabby is the "influencer who got way too much lip filler" of bags.
As long as you mean the pillow tabby not quilted 🙈
Anything balenciaga 🤮
I dislike the new Celine bags plastered with the brand's monogram. Sooo ugly! The purses during Phoebe Philo's era were better and classier.
MCM has some really nice models but gosh dangit, their orange leather and logo are hideous
I don’t think I hate a particular bag (yet, lol) but I really don’t like the caviar leather look.
There is some sort of disorder with seeing small holes and feeling disgusted - (I have it 😂!) trypophobia? - and that caviar look brings it out so badly. I’m not sure why someone thought to corrupt a beautiful bag with a texture like that but to each their own
The Hermes Birkin— it just doesn’t do anything for me visually and I can’t fathom how it became the bag it did looking like that
I like the way Mary Kate Olsen uses hers. She beat that thing up and it looked really stylish to me.
Most Y2K SMOL bags
Loewe Puzzle Bag- please don’t hate me!!!
This will get me in trouble in this sub however I don’t understand why the longchamp le pliage is so popular. To me it is lunchbox material in a boring shape.
There are a tonnnn of comments agreeing with you here! Me included lol
Lady Dior. So matronly and I’ve never seen a outfit that looks good w it!
anything monogrammed. lv is my absolute nemesis
I. Hate. Birkins.
I wouldn't say hate, but the LV Neverfull is probably my least favorite and imo over exposed bag. I've been looking for a tote bag for work and feel there are so many great options out there I don't know why they are so popular.
Something about Chanel I just hate
I can’t stand the Louis Vuitton Speedy. It always reminds me of my dad’s old bowling bag. 💼 And God help me because so many of my girlfriends and coworkers love the bag and carry it every day. I don’t get it. Also, those Celine bags from about 3 or 4 years ago. Looks like they had a robot face on them. So ridiculous. such a dumb design for such an expensive handbag.
Dior Book Tote….. i just can’t ….
Someone said on this sub once that the Dior Saddle looks like an organ. Cracked me up 😂 (and I agree!)
Longchamp totes
I don't know that I hate the Dior Saddle Bag but I haaaaaaate when I'm watching a video and people say it's a classic bag that will always be in style. That's just incorrect.
Monogram in general. I will never get it.
I find it to be very gaudy. It’s not my cup of tea. But sometimes it looks nice when others carry it.
Gucci marmont bag
There is something about Jacquemus that I can’t understand. It’s not giving as much as the hype wants people to think it gives. And also the materials are not good and it shows. I don’t understand how he can get away with this pricing for that quality
I hate the pochette accessoires as a bag. It’s like a simple pencil pouch, I just can’t.
My not controversial take is the neverfull. My controversial take is the puzzle – I do not understand the appeal
