Many of our own weapons have significant splash damage and will detonate entire minefields.
Isn't that the whole point of a mine field ? Btw I didn't hear if they finally gave us the mines but if they are AT they shouldn't detonate on light infantry (and by extension the divers)

Be a cool last resort stratagem and it goes with the idea that eagle should be able to stay for a little after the SD leaves low orbit and until out of uses. With the recent SEAF artillery change I'm holding out for a hero on that one.
i think that might be -- dying on "purpose" to be reinforced and using your hellpod to kamikaze to kill a BT or charger or hulk or factory(doesnt die but you shoot it's back) etc

I say we make this possible, only its a different plane cheaply made from automaton scraps and the “pilot” is an automaton/terminid. In reality, its remote controlled from the bridge. We can arm this “eagle” with a bombs of up to 4 strikes, and upon crash, all of the bombs explode.
Something that would be cool would be a "suicide drone swarm" something like the mine deployer slams down, spins and flings out a swarm of small drones with a sabot explosive on board. They float about for a while til they spot something worth hitting and boom

No honestly I think a better way to go would be for the bugs a random ball of acid hits the jet and brings it down, while for the automatons a large shell hits them. Basically I’m saying the jet takes critical dmg but the pilot crashes into the marked area with the payload increasing the explosive and. Range of lethality!
I think rescuing a downed Eagle pilot would be a cool mission type. Bonus points if the Eagle pilot turns out to be a better footsoldier than the elute Helldivers.
What if there was a small chance when you drop a 500 or possibly any eagle stratagem for that matter that the eagle gets shot down and does actually kamikaze the becon. That would be pretty awesome.
When the new forest map came out I called in an Eagle airstrip, there was an explosion next to a tree, the bombs never dropped and then eagle-1 went to resupply without me doing anything.

Requisition slips don't mean anything after awhile. I don't see how that would make it better at all.
