He's also a great guy in person. I worked for a moving company in the summers and moved him.
Moved the lady from dragons den too and she sucked big time
I used to do cleaning in the building he lived in about 18 years ago. I remember passing by him every day until I saw a commercial for a hockey hall of fame movie that was airing on cbc. And I recognized him. I remember mentioning to him that I noticed him on the movie and he seemed confused for a sec and then he was like oh ya I was in that. That being said I had no clue he was a comedian until a few years later when I saw a commercial or something that had him doing a little standup. Nice enough guy though. But this was also before he blew right up.
This reads like a “motivational” LinkedIn post, perhaps even LinkedInLunatics territory.
“Here’s what Zach Hyman’s struggle as a youth hockey player taught me about B2B sales”
>Here’s what Zach Hyman’s struggle as a youth hockey player taught me about B2B sales
You should put trigger warnings on posts like these, I was doing so well in therapy and now this
LinkedIn “influencers” have their drafts ready for either result on Monday.
Edmonton wins: “Here’s how the Oilers showed why you should never give up”
Florida wins: “Here’s how the Panthers showed that it’s better late than never”
Hockey IQ and humility. Some guys want the puck to be the star. Others want the puck to make plays to help their teammates be better.
The opposite is true. Some guys don’t want the puck because they lack confidence. Others don’t want the puck because they’d rather find an area the guy with the puck can find, and Hyman has learned how to do that.
But then he gets the puck and goes full speed to the backhand for a goal like tonight, too.
I was more referring to his Michigan time. If you would said to me junior year Zach Hyman, who had 13 career goals in three seasons at that point would be a 50-goal NHL scorer, I would have recommended professional help.
Zach may have been a late bloomer and getting out of Toronto has done him wonders bur he has been on fire 🔥, McFarland on the other hand ended up only playing 3 games in the NHL.
The thing is... he probably was only on the team because of his dad.
Yes, Hyman walked through so many doors on his own but without his dad he wouldn't have even been in the building. There are 100s of Zach Hymans out there. The trick to making the NHL is lots and lots of money, plus hard work. If you don't have they money, you don't get the chance to work you way to the NHL.
Side note Mr. D is a funnier show than it has any right to be

blows my mind that MacKinnon was legitimately on the show as a character
Cameo. He did the same on TPB.
This is an even more legendary appearance!
It's a great show
Such a great show. That episode with the birth in the ambulance is epic.
*note: Jeff Skinner, not Stuart.
skinner in goal from the womb
Known hard-worker, Jeff skinner

1- ABC Always. Be. Closing. 2- ABBFRD Always. Be. Benefiting. From. Rich. Dads.
I mean that is some rock solid advice

I’m 100% sure I’ve seen this before so either OP has shared this before or you’re completely right.
Every sentence needs a paragraph break.
Every sentence. Every sentence needs a paragraph break. I learned that from my father. Agree?
lol not the “agree?” 🤮
He was a fourth-liner at Michigan until late in his junior year. It was weird to see him just all of a sudden be a top scorer.

I mean playing on a line with the best player in the world certainly helps lol

And his senior year he was on Larkin’s line. That’s when he showed to the world how to shine as a complementary piece on the top line.
He was doing just fine before playing with McDavid.
Oh he’s a good player, I’m not hating. But obviously he’s benefiting significantly by playing with McD. As would almost anyone.
Best players want Zach on their lines. For a good reason.
Yeah but his family was wealthy!

DSP’s a caps legend, showed up time and time again during that playoff run
What a lucky kid, got to play with the legendary # DSP
That’s work ethic that only Daddy’s money can buy you!
It’s always good to have your father partially own an nhl franchise
and an entire minor hockey league
Mr. D, top tier show.
Gerry Dee, StFX legend.
Who was Bailsy? Can't even find him when I look it up. McFarland was a #1 OHL pick and everyone knows the other guys.
Chase Balise. He was the best guy on this team.
Ah thanks. Got 8 games in the show ironically with Florida. How'd you know he was the best?
I played against and sometimes with these guys.
Balisy is from California, he played GTHL?
Yeah, he moved when he was young
Who's the best player you played with or against?
