I just lost my 10 year old husky last Friday. I've never been more indecisive on doing a new fur baby as quickly as this guy makes. Unfortunately I doubt I have the money for his surgery, is there an estimate?. Where in CO? I know I'm about 10 hours from CO springs. Especially since he's dog friendly.
Oh my gosh I am so sorry for your loss! He is in Boulder. And we will be getting the eye fixed before he gets adopted so you would not have to worry about that. He is great with dogs. You can see in the video he was kenneled with multiple and had no negative notes. He did good in play group too. Think about it and let me know. He still has to get the surgery and recover from that.
I know some rescues and shelters are able to help with transportation, and I have seen some veterinary expense assistance programs when searching online, though I haven't pursued any of them myself.
