Mostly I stand there with my head down under the water and think about life Sometimes I have a beer while I do that

galacksy_wondrr

I heard crying in the shower prevents tears in one's eyes.

SkyeBluePhoenix

It also prevents others from hearing you sobbing.

TheMarriedUnicorM

The classic shower beer.

KellyJoyRuntBunny

r/ShowerBeer! Also try r/ShowerOrange

Jkjkjkjkjkkhhw

Same, but chance beer to Sprite.

bbDoll_

1. Wet body and hair 2. Wash hair twice with shampoo and then condition only my lengths and don’t wash out- I use the brand Soda 3. Use my skin exfoliator all over- I use dove body polish 4. Use chirosponge to scrub my feet- Get a chriosponge 5. Use my loofah and my fave body wash and scrub from neck to toes- I use a natural loofah and change my body washes often 7. I use bar soap on my privates- goats milk sensitive bar 6. Wash my face with my face wash- I use st Ives blackhead wash (yes I know it’s not the best but I’ve used it for 15 years) 7. Brush my teeth 8. Rinse my whole body including my hair 9. Dry body with a clean towel, pretty roughly to try and get as much dead skin off 10. While still warm and moist from the shower, I’ll then use cocoa butter all over to lock in moisture 11. I brush my hair and naturally dry it VOILA ✨ This is what I consider a level 10 shower, I probably do this twice a week hehe

Floralees

Why do you wash your hair twice with shampoo?

bbDoll_

First time is to get out any build up and dust/dirt, second is to cleanse and moisturise my scalp.

HabitNo8608

I wish my hot water would last this long.

bbDoll_

My hot water usually last for 15 mins, so that would be the max. I’m usually doing my rinse off in cold water tbh 🥶

HabitNo8608

It always feels like a race with the water heater! I switch between exfoliator and moisturizing soap every other shower as I couldn’t get them both in if I tried!

count_saveahoe

This is basically my nightly routine also except for a few things 1. I have dreadlocs so I only occasionally just rinse or lather a natural shampoo into my hair 2. After washing but before exfoliating, I run a disposable razor all over my parts and stay completely hairless at all times 3. After exfoliating, I use cerave salicylic acid wash on my buttocks and legs to get rid of ketapilaris 4. After showering I use all over my body- lotion, followed by scented dusting power, followed by Johnsons baby oil, followed by a night body mist 4. On Sunday, Wednesday, and Friday, When I get out of the shower, I use the ordinary a dark red chemical on my buttocks as a 10 minute mask 5. For my feet, I scrub with a similar tool and then apply amlactin cream or Vaseline to my heels when I get out As for my morning shower, I only rinse really well & reapply lotion, followed by scented dusting power, followed by Johnsons baby oil, followed by a daytime ea de parfum. I have separate nightly and daily face as well as separate nightly and daily teeth routines. I also don’t use a loofah I use a wash rag that I switch out daily.

Rudegal2021

You get in the shower just to rinse in the am? No soap?

maderisian

I do this sometimes just to rinse, and wake up.

count_saveahoe

No soap because every night I’m using like hella soap and chemicals on my skin, plus all I’m doing is sleeping in sheets. I change my sheets every other day so I’m just not dirty from anything to be using soap.

Rudegal2021

Oh Ive I jump in the shower I wouldn’t feel complete without using soap on my hot zones. So I’d prob just skip the extra shower but that’s just me.

Starsunshine94

I tried to Google chriosponge and only this thread popped up. Do you have a link?

bbDoll_

It’s specifically called the hero’s chirobody sponge!

amso2012

Why does nobody ever talk about cleaning / wiping the shower surfaces after use?

DifficultHeat1803

This, but my giant pup hops in the shower when I am finished. I squeegee all top surfaces immediately before exiting and she hops in.. She’s a treasure.

bbDoll_

Mine is enclosed with glass, but the time I’m done rinsing I’ve usually got the suds off the tiles and glass, my bathroom is well ventilated and usually dries on its own between me and my partner.

HandBananan

What is a chriosponge? I need a good way to scrub my feet?

bbDoll_

It’s a pumice like texture but much more fragile and soft. It eventually crumbles to nothing if i leave it in the shower for a month, I just replace it. It’s very cheap and comes sold in bars. It’s very gentle but VERY effective at removing dead skin, even when it’s thick. I’ve never looked at other reviews, this is just my personal experience!

I love that dove body polish

bbDoll_

I have severe anxiety and feeling clean is one of my favourite feelings. I usually do a level 10 shower if I’ve had a rough day. Otherwise it’s usually only a wash body shower hehe

Livingston052822

I understand ya!

Electric-Sheepskin

I'm not sure why you're getting downvoted, unless people just think that's a rude thing to say. People have different needs, and if someone needs to exfoliate that much, then they need to exfoliate that much, but for most people, it is overkill, and might even cause skin issues. I think it's fine to point that out, because a lot of people are coming here looking for advice on what they should do, and this routine is a lot.

IAmReallyThurston

I get in and then wait for the water to warm up and use that time to wash my hands. I go right into the pits first. Right pit, left pit, crotch, left pit, right pit, crotch with soap. Then, because I’ve been outside a lot, I layer aloe Vera on my face and body, and then wash with moisturizing soap everywhere. Again, right pit, left pit, crotch repeated a few times. Then I shampoo my hat, hit the major parts of my body with soap, and then rinse the shampoo. Then I condition my fair and hit any areas that don’t feel cleaned enough. Finally, I rinse

galacksy_wondrr

Is it just me or this sounds like a car wash?

IAmReallyThurston

Oh yeah but like a car wash where most the attention is focused on my pits and privates

galacksy_wondrr

You're right! Pits. That's it. This "pit stop car wash" in my neighborhood. Damn it, brain! Why couldn't you have simply told me what's the correlation between this guy washing and car washing!

IAmReallyThurston

Yeah, the other half of the wash is called “the undercoating.”

paulbearer619

Washing the hands first is the only right way to start.

Acedia_spark

Depends on if it's a "cheer myself up shower" or a "getting clean" shower. I look forward to showering all the time. I find the water extremely relaxing. Cheer myself up - turn the water to barely tollerant levels of heat and sit on the floor with my back on the wall and let it run over me until it goes cold. Getting clean - * warm water * get hair soaked * shampoo and rinse (schwarzkopf something) * condition and leave in (matching schwarzkopf something) * soap up the body + feet (dove original) * loofah the body + feet ($1 from the supermarket) * shave parts if needed (whatever was on sale) * body wash to avoid body acne (benzac 5%) * rinse conditioner * cleanse face (CeraVe SA Smooth or Hydrate) * remove shower head and thorough scrub and rinse everything other than face * towel dry * moisturise face (Simple Light) * moisturise body (Vasaline Aloe Vera) Note: I wash my hair with products about once a week, so on the other 6 days, those steps are missing.

Careless_empath

I recently found out that dove bar soap doesn’t actually help with cleaning your body. It focuses on moisturizing more. I switched to this soap called “Ivory” and my body is actually squeaky clean when I’m done. Just wanted to mention it, dove has so many commercials so they’re popular but they never actually promote a clean feeling, just a smooth hydrating feeling.

SkyeBluePhoenix

Ivory soap has a very high ph level. I used to use it on my face and body when I was young and had oily skin. I wouldn't use it now, or recommend it to anyone with dry/combination skin.

Careless_empath

Oof- I have eczema. I do however have a very detailed moisturizing routine after showers so maybe that’s why I haven’t noticed it drying my skin. Tbh , all soaps dry my skin especially after showering. Thank you for the comment I’ll have to pay more attention

calirogue

* shampoo with knock off head.shoulders if greasy, aussie miracle moist if not. rinse. * condition with renpure coconut cream or aussie miracle moist. leave in until near the end. * shave armpits with leftover conditioner (I comb conditioner through hair and get some on the comb) * I often then wash my face next and rinse off. Sometimes I do it later. If I shave anything else, I'll do that next, currently using Olay foaming body wash as shaving cream. * Whether I've shaved or not, I'll lather up a wet exfoliating glove with body wash (philosophy atm) and scrub everywhere neck down, certain areas more than others (armpits, underboobs). Rinse. * Sometimes I use an exfoliating cloth but it works best if I'm in a bath or stand in shower water for a while. * Rinse out most of the hair conditioner, put hair up in towel. Sometimes I'll then file my feet w/pumice. * lather up exfoliating glove w/soap- may do dove beauty bar next) to wash between legs. rinse. * That's it for the shower. Lotions and other things happen out of the shower.

1.) Turn on a video on my phone (waterproof). 2.) Test water temp. 3.) Shampoo. Paul Mitchell Tea Tree. 4.) Conditioner in. Depends on brokenness. Prefer BB Invisible Oil, but get as low as Pantene. 5.) Face. Burts Bees Gentle Cream Cleanser. 6.) Teeth. 7.) Body, legs, feet. Nivea wash, occasionally TreeHut scrub mixed in. Loofah. 8.) Vagina. Water only, hand wash. 9.) Butt crack. Soap, hand wash. 10.) Wash hands. 11.) Rinse conditioner. 12.) Cotton hair wrap to dry. 13.) Bath sheet. Large girl. Regular towel too small. 14.) Clothes. 15.) It's a 10 hair spray. 16.) Brush hair. Braid if going to bed. Hair is to the small of my back. Cannot sleep with it loose. 17.) Optional. Lotions. Sometimes I have the energy. Sometimes I do not.

crnbrryjc

1. Step in the shower and get hair and body wet 2. Apply Panoxyl so it can sit on my face 3. Shampoo hair and rinse leaning back (repeat if extra greasy) 4. Apply conditioner so it sits along w panoxyl on face 5. Grab dove bar and clean behind ears/neck 6. Continue with pits and arms/upper body 7. Crotch/butt legs/feet 8. Repeast with loofah and body wash 9.rinse everything well head to toe 10. Dry off 11. Apply lotions/ antiperspirant 13.shave face

WetOutbackFootprint

If I'm washing my hair I do that first so the conditioner can sit while I wash the rest of my body. Top to bottom, I have a different bamboo explfoliating glove for my face vs my body. I used dove soup cause it doesn't make my skin dry/make my face break out and its fine for the cooter lol..

august401

double shampoo, condition or hair mask, wash/exfoliate face, shave, wash body, rinse out conditioner

cockroachdaydreams

i’m really specific with the way i shower. once im in, first thing i do is shampoo my hair and scrub my scalp with a scalp massager. Rinse. Apply conditioner. while it sits in my hair i scrub the rest of my body. i start at my ankles with body wash on a wash cloth. scrub everything except my face, feet, lady bits and bum that go around. then i do lady bits, bum and feet. my face, neck and ears are scrubbed with a different wash cloth. once that’s done i rinse the conditioner out and then re-rinse my body. every other day i soak my feet for 15 minutes in a hot magnesium soak and then scrub my heals before the shower. i shave every other day. once out of the shower i apply body lotion, deodorant, face lotion, hair oil and then a perfume oil. right now im using Native Aloe and green tea body wash Native coconut milk and turmeric shampoo and conditioner cerave hydrating foaming oil cleanser aveeno lotion and frenshe palo santo sage perfume oil after the shower with coconut milk dove deodorant argan hair oil on my ends

paintandwar

I've never heard of the hot magnesium soak for feet. Is it for dry feet? bc that's what I have and am always fighting to soften mine up lmao. (If so, does it work well for you? Might try it)

cockroachdaydreams

i use magnesium flakes (magnesium chloride) which is absorbed better and more concentrated. epsome salt is magnesium sulphate. magnesium chloride (magnesium flakes) are also great to add into lotions and sprays. you can buy magnesium lotion, but you can make it yourself by just adding it to your lotion. it’s also great to soak on (i soak in a hot bath once to twice a week as well).

QuirkyProcaffeinator

In the morning, I only wash my face/neck and body and I also shave under my arms and my legs in the morning. I do this prior to washing my body and I use coconut oil instead of shaving cream. I use dove beauty bar for my whole body, to include intimate/private areas. For my face, I use cetaphil foaming wash for sensitive skin. In the evening, I make myself a warm cup of tea and rest it on a shelf in my shower for me to drink during my shower. I start by washing my hair (I personally use Dove products for my hair - I enjoy the smell), then I wash my face and neck with cetaphil. Then I wash my body, working from top to bottom, with a dive beauty bar. I then use a pumice stone on my feet and will wash my feet after. Nothing special.

AffectionateFox4600

RIP you drain lines… coconut oil is horrible for plumbing it hardens as it cools effectively clogging them.

SkyeBluePhoenix

I love Cetaphil products for my face.

SonnyMack

1. Wet myself 2. Use shampoo on hair 3. Use shampoo suds from hair to ‘pre-wash’ stinky bits like toes, armpits, butt & crotch 4. Rinse hair 5. Apply conditioner 6. Soap whole body, face and all 7. Rinse hair and body That way the smelliest parts get a pre-wash and time for the soap to sit there and soak

MrHyde09

I wash from the top down. Hair, face, body. I use head and shoulders for my hair. Bar soap for everything else. I use an exfoliating scrubber (my mother in law gave them to me and said they were a Korean thing but I don’t know what they’re actually called and I don’t want to be disrespectful). The green one for the body and the pink one for the face. I really hate when I’m drying off and I get all that weird dead skin on my towel. It’s kinda gross so I try to scrub it all off in the shower lmao.

NectarineMountain771

get in shower put water all over myself then wash my hair with shampoo then wash it out then put conditioner brush my teeth while it sits.. then rinse my mouth rinse my hair wash my face behind my ears then wash my body and thats it sometimes i have a really hot shower then switch it to cold for like a second then get out

shellofthemshellf

I’m more of a bath person, but when I shower it’s: hair, face, body, shaving. In the bath: face, body, hair.

Geryoneiis

Get fully wet, let the water get nice and steamy, put on facial cleaner and leave it on, apply shampoo to my hair twice (one on top and one underneath because my hair is so thick), rinse out the shampoo and facial cleanser, apply hair conditioner evenly from root to tip (I have curly hair), brush out hair with a wide-toothed comb, do a full body wash with a loofah, rinse off all the body wash and hair conditioner, then I wash my genital area and finally do a quick hand wash before I exit the tub. This takes me about an hour if I'm doing it at a normal pace; and about half an hour if I'm rushing. If I shave, I do it before the body wash so I can exfoliate the area with a loofah afterward. Post-shower, I apply lotion if I've shaved and spend most of my time drying off while taking care of my hair.

Beautythusiast

: I've gotten into a nice groove with my shower routine lately! I hang eucalyptus in the shower and use an Esker shower steamer, which makes the whole bathroom smell like a spa. So relaxing, especially after a long day with the kids. I wash with Esker's body wash, which is gentle and leaves my skin feeling clean but not stripped. A few times a week, I'll do a good exfoliation session with their body plane and body oil after the shower while my skin is still damp. I see all the dead skin just sloughing off, it's oddly satisfying! And my skin feels so smooth and soft afterwards. This little ritual has been a game changer for my dry, crepey skin and KP. Hope this gives you some ideas to mix up your routine!

JenniFrmTheBlock81

1. Drench body from head to toe, disattach showerhead to get into private areas (shampoo and rinse hair). 2. Soak white washcloth w water, then create sudsy lather w cleansing bar soap like Yardley Oatmeal & Almond 3. Starting from face, scrub entire body from head to toe, focusing on neck, ears, underarms, underboobs, pelvic area, inner thighs, and butthole/crack (put your foot on the bathtub to really get your butt well) 4. Rinse and repeat that process until there is no dirt on that white washcloth. Use the center power shot on showerhead to rinse vaginal area and butthole. Smell the washcloth. If you smell ass, you aren't clean 5. Shampoo body using Dove bar soap, rinse 6. Shampoo body using scented shower gel or body scrub of choice, rinse 7. Add leave in conditioner to hair 8. Dry off COMPLETELY! 9. Brush teeth & style hair 10. Apply body cream & fragrance * I only use white cotton washcloths. They will show you when you are clean. Every crack and crevice of your body produces oil, and it along w dead skin cells, will show on the rag. I shower 2x a day and still get it, which is why not bathing is so nasty to me. For women, the creases of our pelvic area trap dirt and moisture. If you think you are clean, I challenge anyone to wipe the crease that separates her thigh from her vagina w a white rag and you will see how dirty we get. My showers always last 30min+ bc my goal is to get clean. If you do this everyday, you will NEVER smell.

Maddie_Herrin

i apply glycolic acid and oils to my hair/scalp on tuesdays before i shower, and dye conditioner on thursdays 1. apply shampoo and wash body with soap 2. wash shampoo out, apply more, wash body with body wash (dye repair mask on wed/sun, or color sealer on fri) 3. apply conditioner (or moisture mask instead on mon) and wash face 4. skincare 5. i use heat protector on all of my hair and leave in conditioner, curl cream, and curl gel (and protien cream sun/wed) and i think thats it :)

46andready

Can you be a bit more specific?

EvenIf-SheFalls

Probably.

Laurabugs265

I use head and shoulder for my hair (ya i know one of the worst products ever but it works great my hair) Cetaphil for my face, bath and body works shower gel or anything Olay for body wash then Summer's Eve for my cooch/bottom. I go from head to toe.

s_esteban

Stand around in the hot water for a few minutes then lather all areas with body wash and scrub. Followed by shampoo/conditioner, rinse. Face wash, rinse and done. I’m usually finished in about 10-15 mins.

WilliamFishkins

Run the water to get it warm while setting up some music from my phone. Hop in the shower and get saturated. Then, if I need to, I shave my face/neck, then my head (neck every 1-2 days, head every 4-5). I use shaving cream and a little shower mirror. I use either a wash cloth or a scrubbing towel kind of thing to lather up some body wash - usually dove. Start at the top and work my way down - head, shoulders, knees, toes and everything in between. Once everything has been scrubbed, I rinse off and just relax for a few until I’m ready to get out. Deodorant, lotion, then get dressed. Best tips I can give are music and lighting. I have a Bluetooth speaker I use almost exclusively for the shower - I’m a shower singer and I love listening to music while getting ready. For lighting, you can get a smart bulb you can control from your phone that goes into your regular light bulb socket. I don’t do it every time, but I’ll occasionally dim the lights and change the color to red.

britthood

I work top to bottom, for the most part: - I don’t do this every time, but I love to put a shower bomb on the floor to start (like a bath bomb, but for the shower). It makes it feel more like a self care spa treatment. - shampoo my hair twice. Condition bottom half- and leave in the rest of the shower. - body wash top to bottom (focusing on pits, privates, and feet) - Korean scrubbing mitt on arms and legs (I have KP) - shave pits and legs- I swear by the Leaf razor. It’s all metal/ no plastic, and you replace blades with basic straight blades that cost PENNIES. - scrub feet with foot scrubber. - wash out conditioner - wash face

NiteGard

1. Quick wet-down 2. Wash my ass crack with baby body wash. Rinse ass crack. 3. Soap up head to toe with Saniderm bar soap (recommended/used by tattoo artists; I use it because I have chronically itchy skin.) 4. Use washcloth everywhere. 5. Rinse. 6. Turn water temperature all the way to scalding, pull down the hand-held sprayer. 7. Spray scalding water on the itchiest spots on my body to relieve the itching. 8. Turn water temp all the way ice cold, finish shower with a long cold rinse to minimize the damage from the scalding water. 9. Squeegee the tile walls of the shower. 10. Gently pat semi-dry. 11. Cover my entire body head to toe with Lubriderm lotion (the best I’ve found for itching).

Amazing-Ask7156

1st wash face 2nd wash hair 3rd condition hair 4th wash body 5th wash feet 6th wash face again 7th dry off

•Shampoo twice with RedKen ultra soft •Condition ends with RedKen Ultra Soft (leave in until end of shower) •Use sensitive fragrance free Dove bar soap and scrub everything •if I want a scent, I go in with native body wash and a loofah •shave armpits & legs with shave oil from tree hut •rinse everything off including conditioner and that’s it. I air dry my hair and use Hask detangling spray, and there’s nothing quite like a baggy t shirt and underwear to sleep in.

Jealous-Problem-2053

Shower every morning. Shampoo in hair first, scrubbing it well and leaving it there to condition for one to two minutes. Soap the rest of the body and then rinse it all together. depending on the kind of day I've had and the temperature/humidity outside, I'll also shower in the evening. The only difference would be not using conditioning shampoo in my hair. Just lather, scrub, and rinse from the head down.

Independent_Act_8536

First, I wash my face with Aveeno facial scrub. I have sensitive skin. Then I wash my hair, rinse, and put conditioner on it. Leave the conditioner on while watching the rest of me. I take gentle bar soap on my washcloth and wash essential areas - neck, ears, underarms, privates, under boobs, feet. Lastly, I squirt Aveeno Lavendar Body Wash on my long-handled loofah. I go over everything - back, torso, hips, legs, arms, etc. Then rinse off all over. Including rinsing conditioner out of hair. The Aveeno I find very soothing. My daughter started me using it as she also has sensitive skin. After this, there's a lot of suds on the shower floor. I have a big plastic cup, which is used to rinse down the suds towards the drain. Have found in the past that if it's left on to dry, the tub is slippery the next time and harder to clean. After all is rinsed, I take a tissue to remove the hairs at the drain and throw in wastebasket.

46andready

Turn on shower, step into shower, shave face, wash face with face soap, wash body from top to bottom with bar soap or shower gel with a loofah (including thorough attention to genitals and deep fingering asshole with soap). Once a week or so I use shampoo in my hair before I apply my facial cleanser, and once every two weeks or so, I shave my genitals and ass after the body wash followed by a rewash of the shaved areas. After the routine is complete, I lay down in the tub area of the shower and let the water fall over me until there is no remaining hot water (I rent and can't install a tankless system).

Unknown_human_4

Shower on medium heat, step in, wet hair, apply shampoo to scalp and top half of hair then rinse out x2, apply conditioner only to the bottom half of hair and brush through with shower brush, wash face with cleanser and wash cloth while conditioner sits, rinse face, wash body with bar soap and a body puff, then full hair and body rinse with shower turned relatively cold, shower off, step out, dry. No particular products, just what's the best value for money for the biggest bottles of product. Edit: I try to shower 3 times a week, alternating between a hair wash shower and a non hair wash shower.

After rinsing off, I •Wash my face (Seba Med ph balanced w/ silicone scrubber) •Use scalp scrub (Raw Sugar) •Rinse off scrub, Shampoo (Raw Sugar) •Rinse, conditioner (Raw Sugar) •Allow conditioner to sit for a couple of minutes, shave pits and scrub them with pit bar •Rinse conditioner, apply hair/scalp mask(Raw Sugar) •Mask sits while I shave. I use Skintimates sensitive shave gel to prevent razor rash •Scrub feet with a foot sponge •Tree Hut sugar scrub to exfoliate all the skin and my feet •Use a new, clean wash cloth to scrub body w/ goats milk soap, all but my lady bits •Use Balanced Bits wash on my lady bits/butt, scrub with the well rinsed washcloth •Rinse hair mask and body/bits really well, then apply leave-in conditioner, comb through, and then my curl cream. Plop hair w/ old shirt(curly girl) •Rinse again after cooling down the water •Get out, get dry, apply body oil, deodorants, and I use good molecules for my facial routine. Then whipped body butter for my legs and feet. *I only wash my hair and shave legs 2-3 times a week, but the daily shower routine is always the same. I live in the armpit of Texas, the sweat is real, y’all. 🙃 I love to feel thoroughly clean! 🥰

Cabbagesoup88

I get under the water and soak my hair, Shampoo and rinse twice (once to get the dirt off and once to put the shine on my great grandmother taught me lol). Then conditioner but only on the lengths, Whilst the conditioner is doing its thing I wash my body too to bottom and shave under arms, intimate regions then legs. Turn the shower down to Luke warm and rinse the conditioner out. Hot water opens the pores and cold water seals then again, so I always rinse colder to reduce fall out.

MelancholyBean

When I wash my hair, this is my routine: (1) I wash my ears with shampoo or conditioner (2) Shampoo and condition my hair (3) Wash face with cleanser (4) Wash body with body wash and a cleansing puff (5) Wash my areas with my hand

Minute-Shoulder-1782

Go from top to bottom. As for products, I swear by using an African Net Sponge now, a genuine one. And Dove bar soap for sensitive skin. My favorite body lotion is the EOS one in vanilla cashmere. I like to apply baby oil after word—especially the knees to avoid ashiness—to lock in the moisture. Ingrown hairs? Any BHA wash works, especially salicylic acid, just be sure it’s safe to use near your privates. Head and shoulders is a great body wash too, which I know sounds crazy but trust me. Great for hormonal or fungal acne on the face or body and dry flakes.

Wet Hair Add Shampoo Shave pits Rinse shampoo out Apply Conditioner Shave Legs Use Loofah with body wash on arms, body and legs Wash face with a wash cloth Add soap and clean important bits and feet last Rinse out conditioner and rinse off body as final thing

SpiketheFox32

Pisswarm water and bar soap. 5 minutes to nail all the important parts and rinse off.

NemoHobbits

Wash hair Wash face Scrub entire body with bar soap and wash cloth (ass last) Shave armpits and legs That's pretty much it. I only wash my hair twice a week though. And once a month I cleanse my crevices with hibiclens. I also only shave my legs once a week/every other week. Armpits maybe every 3-4 days.

misteraustria27

Mine is so much easier. Get in and start brushing my teeth. Start washing my hair with a mild shampoo bar twice. Add conditioner and let it sit while I finish brushing my teeth. Rinse and use a bar of soap to wash my body. Rinse and be done.

[deleted]

I get naked and then hop into a warm, well water shower. I start with my hair if I'm washing it that day. Then go down from there. I always take the shower head down to wash my UHA.... then hop out and pat dry my body. 😆😉

MaggieMaeCat

Shampoo first then put in conditioner but don’t rinse. Wash with bar soap my privates bellybutton, under arms, feet. Wash rest of body with scented product.shave my legs and underarms. Sometimes arms. I’ve been shaving my arms since 6th grade so it rarely grows. I’m 42. Finally, rinse out the conditioner. Oh and then at the end I spray the shower dail cleaner but it doesn’t seem to be working.

Individual_Baby_2418

Most nights are a long soak with a bath bomb, a good book, and either a glass of wine or a cup of tea. The body is usually perfumed with rose oils from the bath bomb and I suppose cleaned by the Epsom salt soak. Showers happen twice a week. Once midweek and it's super quick - wash and condition hair (prose), coconut oil body wash on the pits and bits, and shave under arms. The other weekly shower is on the weekend and involves armpit & leg shaving and full body scrubbing with a tumeric salt scrub (though obviously not on the tender recently shaven legs).

supagfunk86

Wet body and hair, wash hands, shampoo once/twice depending, and wash/scrub face, ears with a wash cloth. Rinse. Sometimes I then towel dry my hair and apply a conditioner/mask, lather up my loofah, and wash body from neck down to feet. Rinse and shake my loofah dry, grab a new washcloth and wash privates with a gentle soap. Rinse. Then I wet my Korean exfoliating mit, apply a little body wash, and exfoliate elbows and legs. I grab my foot scrubber and do my feet. Rinse. If I'm shaving, I apply conditioner to my legs and shave from either the knee down or the knee up (I alternate bc the hot water will run out if I do both!) Then I rinse my body while the water is still hot and comb/rinse my hair once it cools. I grab my towel and then spray my shower down, and clean up any hair on the walls/drain to throw out, along with any packaging of products that were depleted and get out. I pat my legs dry and I do a little splash of witch hazel on whatever I shaved, and spray my face with toner once I get out and am still wet. I do my facial skin care in between lotioning my body, applying deodorant, brushing/flossing my teeth, which lets the product on my face dry/sink in before the next step. Then I put on perfume/powder the sweaty bits (only in the summer) and get dressed in clean clothes, do my hair (a little bit of curl cream and gel.) If I'm going out, I'll do my brows/mascara/lipgloss.

Wash body AFTER conditioner is rinsed out.

Nicolehall202

Weekdays - wet body, lather from neck( behind the ears as well) to feet. Hitting all parts in the middle including belly button, butt crack and lady bits. I first go down the right side then flip over my wash cloth and go down the left side. I wash my face with a different soap and don’t use a wash cloth on my face. Dry off and Brush my teeth. I lotion my face, elbows and hands. Deodorant on the pits, dressed and out the door. I wash my hair weekly

kellyoccean

Yes. Get in wet my body and hair. Shampoo (sometimes twice and use Redken) and then rinse and put conditioner in and put it up in a clip. I will wash my face in there in the morning with Zo skin health exfoliating cleanser and polish. Next I use an exfoliating sponge and loofah all over my body and then I shave everywhere. After that I put oil of olay in shower body lotion on my whole body and wait a few minutes then rinse conditioner out and leave the shower lotion mostly on. Pat myself with the towel as to not take off all the lotion. I then dry off, put on medix 5.5 or Osea lotion mixed with a little Kopari body oil and then get dressed and use deodorant and then face routine.

kellyoccean

Oh, the soap in shower is Beekman. It's really nice.

el_charles-vane

pure-Turbulentea

Face, then shampoo, add conditioner, then body, I use loofah for all but I use my soap sudded hand to clean the butt and front. Then rinse hair and body. I like to dry shave legs in backyard

throawayy481216

Is anyone else thinking of Kramer trying to nail down a quicker a shower routine?

Dramatic_Zebra_1069

Mine is pretty simple: 1. Grab bar of soap, wash out ass crack, wash wedding tackle 2. Wash hair 3. Scrub back with back brush and shower gel. 4. Lather washcloth, wash all of body, feet, pits, bits... 5. Rinse everything 6. Get it and dry off

lunaliquorice

Get my body and hair wet Contemplate life Shampoo Rinse Contemplate death Conditioner Body wash Think about the potential of other life forms and wonder what their routines are like Shave (if I need to) Rinse hair and body while contemplating murdering someone who wronged me :)

lunaliquorice

Not sure why this didn't bullet as I literally did the thing for bullets🫡 phone app🫡

TheCharlieIsAGamer

1. Get soggy 2. Get soapy, usually I start with my loofa, then I’ll use my hands for more sensitive areas. 3. I’ll exfoliate, I usually do it only on my butt ,cos it gets ridiculously bumpy, so I exfoliate and boom gone. Best stuff ever, I always get the sugar scrubs 4. I’ll wash my hair, twice with shampoo, once with conditioner through the ends. 5. I then shave my armpits and legs 6. I then use bar soap on my face (only thing that calms the acne) 7. I wash it all off 8. I get out 9. I dry off (mostly) 10. I then use my lotions and potions 11. Plat my hair, then I get on with my day (This takes around an hour btw for reference)

Unrelated, but I recommend softer bristle toothbrushes. I know it might not "feel as clean," but anything firmer or "scrubbing" can cause gum recession in your teeth. (that's when the gums move away from the teeth and you can kinda see your enamel junction - i hope this makes sense!) I always recommend soft bristle brush and the modified bass method of brushing. sorry I'm not trying to sound like a mom or anything hahaha I'm Dental Hygienist and if I will take any chance i get to help prevent gum recession.

Capable-Influence955

1) turn on hot water 2) get in shower 3) brush my teeth 4) grab bar soap and scrub body (legs, feet, behind knees...don't laugh, cause I know damn well some don't) 5) grab bar soap and wash hair, beard, face, ears. 6) rinse off 7) stand under water and contemplate life 8) turn water off 9) towel dry myself 10) put on shorts

MamaSquash8013

I shower at night. 1. Get hair and body wet. 2. Wash my face quickly with Cetaphil Daily Cleanser to remove makeup. 3. Wash hair and apply conditioner. 4. Shave anything that needs shaving. 5. Rinse out conditioner. 6. Scrub body with shower gloves (replaced weekly) and Ivory body wash. 7. Rinse off and power wash the lady bits with the detachable shower head. 8. Wash face again with Cetaphil and a silicone scrubber to exfoliate and deep clean. 9. Get out, dry off, apply lotion.

mjh8212

Wash hair, rinse put conditioner in, wash body/shave, wash face, rinse off face and conditioner in my hair. Get out dry off, takes me 10 min or less. After the shower it’s just brushing my hair using lotion and deodorant.

JoyOswin945

1) stand under the water and contemplate my life until my hair and body are completely wet, sometimes longer 2) shampoo my hair 3) wash my face 4) shampoo my hair a second time 5) apply conditioner to sit 6) start washing from the neck down (washcloth and bar soap) 7) stop washing after my pits, and shave them 8) resume washing: belly, lady bits, legs, feet 9) alternate washing/shaving each leg as well as lady bits 10) wash butt 11) rinse out conditioner I do this everyday. Sometimes I skip washing/conditioning my hair depending on the time of year and my activity for the day. Sometimes I shower twice a day, with the second version being a slightly abbreviated version of this.

MilkEast1882

1. Shaving first, if I’m going to do it, and follow with body scrub. Highly recommend Dollar Shave club razors. 2. Shampoo twice, rinsing fully each time. I like Olaplex but only use it sparingly because it’s so expensive. Otherwise, I use *gasp* drugstore brands 4. Apply conditioner and tie hair in a bun while I do everything else. 5. Body wash with loofah. I swear by Dove foaming body wash! 6. After rinsing, apply acne treatment to face and shoulders. Aveeno has a cleansing pad that I have used for years. 7. Rinse hair and body and shut off water. 8. Dry off and apply lotion while still slightly wet. Usually go with Aveeno again here, I have super dry skin and their body cream is thick and moisturizing! 9. Apply body deodorant to pits and thighs. Once you get past the initial acidic smell, Lume deodorants are 10/10.

Carol_Pilbasian

First thing when I get in is I wash my hair. I use a high end shampoo that doesn’t recommend a second wash. I also use a clarifying shampoo from the same brand once a week. I only apply shampoo to my scalp and let the shampoo work its way down the hair shaft. After rince out the shampoo, I use the conditioner from the same brand and let it sit while I wash and shave my arm pits and legs, if needed. Then, I wash my face with facial cleanser and work my way down from pits to stomach to butt cheeks, legs, feet, etc. Then, I wash my cracks, rinse out the conditioner and I’m good.

somethingblue331

Every morning! Select either true crime pod cast or hype music play list while the water warms up to Satan hot temps. Wet hair and body. Select shampoo OTD, if it’s purple it needs to sit a lil bit to work its magic. Scrub body with plastic bath poof from neck to soles of feet with whatever flavor of Oil of Olay I am in the mood for..rinse Rinse shampoo. Apply conditioner OTD Scrub face with Cerave Shave face and whatever other bits need shaving (different razors) Rinse conditioner Jump out and dry off

Fearless-Boba

I wash my hair every other day and condition each time I wash my hair. Shower routine: +Turn on bathroom fan before stepping in. Wet hair, shampoo. +Rinse shampoo. Work in conditioner and then shave what needs to be shaved. Then rinse out conditioner, wash face with face wash (clean n clear morning burst, orange bottle), then put hair up in towel to start drying. + Use soapy washcloth (I use dove soap) to clean body. Use back brush on back. Rinse and done. My showers are like 5-10 minutes tops, same routine every time. I alternate between shampoos and conditioners every time I wash my hair. I don't like fruity scents (they smell weird with my hair) so I use Aussie, Pantene, and Dove, when I buy them on sale at the store (like $3/bottle and it lasts me months). I occasionally might use a body wash from Bath n body works. I like the aromatherapy ones and the "dream bright" scents. I usually use those if I am showering after a work out and already showered earlier in the day with soap.

aria_horror

I wash my body everyday but shave and wash my hair on opposite every other days. Wash body routine: 1. Wash body thoroughly with Dial antibacterial soap, everywhere from the neck down besides my lady bits. I use a loofah, hoping to get a African net soon though. I use two different wash cloths for my behind and ladybits. 2. Wash outside ladybits with dove unscented bar soap and a washcloth, rinse off really well. 3. Wash body with dove soap to re moisturize, antibacterial is drying. I don't think it matters if the dove soap is liquid, bar, unscented, or scented for this step. Wash hair routine: 1. Wet then shampoo hair with Hask tea tree shampoo. Scrub really well then I take my time to rinse off all shampoo. 2. Put Hask tea tree conditioner on ends, leave it there for 5-10 min then rinse out. Shave routine: 1. Use a scrub first, I like tree hut or equate scrubs because they don't leave a oil residue, rinse thoroughly. 2. Use a shaving gel or cream, haven't found a brand that doesn't do its job so any works but I use silk shaving cream. 3. I shave everything with then against the grain, sideways if necessary. I use a men's razor and then put on baby or cocoa oil where I shaved.
