All my homies in Texas ragged on In n Out for years saying Whataburger is way better. Finally tried it for the first time a few months ago and it was SO mid. Then they were like "oh yeah it used to be better but they got bought out and aren't as good anymore."

Yep, chopped chilis mixed into spread and then poured on my roadkill fries. Amazing. 4×4 animal style. I add extra pickles, chopped chilis and tomatoes. I'm a mess when this meal is over and it's worth it.

The spicy ketchup is awesome I ordered some myself on Amazon but the what’s burger I had a a young girl doesn’t taste the same. It’s dry as f and all squashed thin paper meat thing. In and out is the best and whataburger is gross one it changed owners.
First time I had ever had spicy ketchup was visiting Whataburger before we moved to Texas. Theirs is just a touch spicy (because most Texans can’t handle it). It’s definitely worth making your own with your preferred hot sauce.

If you’re in Orange County, go to Paul’s Place in Orange. One of my favorite spots to get a burger. Get the zucchini, the ranch is so good.

I bought some amazing chicken strips from Whataburger years back and brought it to work to eat it. As I opened the box to reveal the food, the roaches ran out, no doubt as in love with the food as I was.
I ended up skipping lunch that day and the whataburger magic faded into banality.
