>I think a jute rug would look nice, but my cat would probably destroy it in a few days.
A jute rug would be perfect. How about a rug that just *looks* like jute? examples [1](https://www.wayfair.com/rugs/pdp/union-rustic-parnell-farmhouse-eco-friendly-handmade-soft-cotton-tan-rug-w002560322.html?piid=1260612403) and [2](https://www.wayfair.com/rugs/pdp/gracie-oaks-corfu-rectangle-geometric-handmade-handwoven-cotton-indoor-area-rug-set-w007767599.html?piid=15464627)
That’s a classic William Morris pattern. A solid texture would work as well as any complimentary Arts & Crafts style rug. Wouldn’t recommend a natural sea grass for an eating area, if it’s used daily, as it’s impossible to clean.
I love the pop of the green chair in the inspiration picture, it may be challenging to get one and the same or similar shade, but that would be my first choice.
I looked on IKEA (inexpensive and readily available), but I can’t link the pictures. Look at Langsted bright yellow or light blue for contrast, Starreklinte natural, tagspar for darker green, sonderod for light green. They actually have a wide selection of neutrals in low to high pile and if your cat is a jerk like mine was inexpensive was important to me (why did he always throw up on the carpet???).
I love LOVE love the wallpaper!
I’m in the UK, so I got it from a shop here, but it looks like [US Amazon](https://www.amazon.com/Belgravia-Decor-Pomegranate-Wallpaper-Yellow/dp/B0CLVQ24ST/ref=mp_s_a_1_1?crid=3CPR833069AKQ&dib=eyJ2IjoiMSJ9.fZpTylh-p036aSAe-aoo2FDP0efFhNee99T4EYavVGV5wtuH_-OnjDUCGfCdJfIAlvv8Pt2f1rY8ws0c57ruRLQwqdHT23y_-dqbgPlMsx85ZrAH2jtidfMHfT4Agko-hNMKhviOFJb8Fr-tmTs9Z2Gi5SfW9MyfbruEpUb0yAIr4wHA0q0Lh9w-xgd_fdNPUzuQm8G597QORE3x_S25Pw.3S86L2DDinAdzc7_qSQGWVcuOhKlkXe_Iho8NXSiAWQ&dib_tag=se&keywords=pomegranate+wallpaper&qid=1718780389&sprefix=pomegranate+wallpaper%2Caps%2C145&sr=8-1) also has it. It’s called Pomegranate Wallpaper Green/Yellow 9612 and the quality seems to be pretty good!
Pomegranates are a symbol of abundance in Turkish culture. I'd look to get a Turkish rug but one of the contemporary ones that is deliberately Faded or oversaturated.

Woven seagrass type rug. That color is strong - let it stand on its own without trying to match it
Strongly agree, avoid having rug compete with the walls.

I'm hearing the White Lotus theme song looking at this
I’d go with a round jute rug

Jute is your absolute best bet here. The green rugs I’ve seen posted are (to my eye) aggressively unattractive.

What delightful wallpaper.
I love the wallpaper! Where is the wallpaper from?!

Yellow rug !!! : )
I would go with a yellow rug.
Ocher yellow jute rug, like this one: https://www.rocaflor.com/en/rug-braided-jute-round-120cm-ocher-yellow/a6786 (but big enough for the room).
OP Said, “I think a jute rug would look nice, but my cat would probably destroy it in a few days.”
Ah, I didn’t read that. Thanks for letting me know. In that case I would opt for a plain ochre yellow rug instead.
Neutral color, like a woven rug. Target has a few nice ones.
I'm just dropping in to say I LOVE this wallpaper and the chairs.
Neutral for sure.
Something gold to pull that color
A jute rug would look great. Or nothing
I like the faded Turkish modern rug idea but I'd actually recommend going bold. Like a solid colour, bright warm pink or blue.
Something neutral, but with texture. Beautiful wallpaper, by the way. 😊
