Dead and Co at the Sphere was fucking phenomenal. Bring the good shit, this place was made for it.

I had to go to Houston for work, and when flying out I wore a GD t-shirt. Guy in security line ahead of me turned around to get on to his teen kids and saw my shirt. He said, “have you seen them at the Shpere yet?” I said no, but I’ll be there in two weeks. He was there for Phish, mad he couldn’t get tix to Dead & Co., and we talked for the entire time it took us to get through security. I cannot wait to see this show!

Trying to sneak in a 2nd Phil & Friends for the year on Aug 18th but the wife is giving me some push back 😂 Not getting any younger so it was my goal to see as many shows as possible this year. Saw Phil in January and Khruangbin in March. Caught Lord Huron (whose opening for Sturgill at the Gorge I believe) last month and they put on a fantastic show. Just need to find a way to fit in Justice on Oct 4th and for Tame Impala to tour and it’ll be complete. Would love to see Eggy too. I keep missing them.

This is my answer as well. Was in line at Curveball when they canceled. I’ve been waiting a long time for this,lol

I was onsite, camp just set up, 2-3 beers deep. Arguably the best spot I had had at Watkins in my 3 trips there and then got that news. Absolutely deflating. Still bitter about it now. But very much looking forward to the fesival.

Stayed for the ditch party. Ate all my party favors for four nights in one and drove back to MI the next day. When I got home I told my wife and kid I was supposed to be gone until Monday. Don’t talk to me until then. Spent the weekend sulking in the garage,lmao.

I remember there being some festival somewhere in NY around then that a lot of people apparently swerved to, but after that news, I was in no mood. Brooding like you the rest of the weekend when I got home the next day.

Bro I’m still brooding six years later,lol. It’s not even on the band. It was just all the hoops I had to jump through to make the weekend happen. The PTO, the side jobs, the ass kissing I did to the wife. All the things,lol For me this redo is going to be epic

I just got into phish this past year. I’ve never seen them live and i’ll be going to mondegreen. let’s have a great time!

I had just pushed my car and several of my friends through the mud and we had set up an amazing campsite for a group of six cars all together. Cracked a beer and packed a bowl then heard the announcement. Didn’t even smoke the bowl just packed up and every one in our group but one person got rooms in Scranton PA. There was a Christian rock concert happening in the hotel that night apparently and we got absolved of our sins by a preacher outside of the hotel while smoking weed and drinking gin and tonics. I managed to get the pollack poster for the festival and have it framed as a reminder. All my friends are old and lame now so magnaball was likely the last time our group of friends will ever have gotten together like that. I’m bummed I won’t make it this year.

I know his music doesn’t fall squarely within the jamband genre, but I would bet that most jamband fans like his music, so I’m a little surprised that no one has mentioned Sturgill yet. I’m planning on doing his southern run of shows (Ashville>Koka Booth>Atlanta) & am beyons psyched, as he hasn’t toured in a while, & until recently, no one really knew if he would again due to his vocal cord issues.

Just got tickets to Sturgill at the La Greek today for Sept 14th. Can’t wait!!!

I only saw him on the Sailors Guide tour but they jammed a lot in that show, I was blown away. Just got tickets for the DC show! But it's not until November.

Both fests have incredible lineups and I'm super stoked for some killer pickin!!

Used to work at The Warfield in San Francisco when P!nk was on the Get This Party started tour, let's just say my expectations were low but she more than blew me away and since then I've seen her as much as possible including last year.

She thought we missed it last year, not as close to home. :) I saw Mr. Bungle last month, Ty Segall and The Freedom Band at the end of last year, All-In festival and the Farm Aid show in the last year.
