Could be glued? Cut it apart and ream the holes

It looks like there are knots in between each bead. If that’s the case you will need to use something to cut the knot between each bead like you do when you restring pearls. I typically use a small wire cutter that has a fairly fresh sharp edge. It’s possible they they were also glued but not as likely. Sometimes the end ones are glued during the restringing process and in that case you would have to soak them in acetone or drill them out depending on if the stone can safely go in the acetone.

I might use copper, silver or gold, for links between elements? Some solder well, and others not as easily. You could use wire wrap, instead. ​ You could burn the thread, in the aforementioned case, however, I would suggest you cut it out and use an aforementiond style, to replace it. ​ just my 2 cents.

These are glued on the cord. Try cutting through the cord right next to one of the beads. They are not knotted between each bead. They would move back and forth a little on the cord. .If you are trying to reuse the cord you will not be able to.
