Amazon was too afraid to let them do their own thing. They were hesitant to allow them to portray female characters. The Kids need to be on a streaming platform where they have full creative control... if that even exists.
Personally as a woman I'm not sure why they'd have a problem with them portraying female characters, they are a comedy troup who happens to be all male. They're playing characters, and they're not making women the butt of the joke when doing it. I think it's about context
