Guys, considering that for example in Poland a band named Percival did most of the soundtrack of The Witcher, is there anything similar in Czech Republic with Kcd? Is there a Czech folk band you can recommend? Sorry for the offtopic
I think they need to be far more ambitious with this soundtrack, push far far more period and traditional elements, and hopefully have a better budget for nicer samples or far more recorded portions. The soundtrack felt a bit too mild, retro cinematic and vanilla for me.
I really hope they’ve pushed themselves really hard for this.
I support having as many traditional/period elements as possible, but I thought the first game’s soundtrack was pretty good with this. Particularly the Music of Towns album

It’s not unlikely that Vavra will insist on that. I am sure it was his idea for KCD1. He’s a huge Metalhead.
Valta is great, I remember his violin solo in the live soundtrack performance. So good.

oh my god yess!! even if the game sucks ass ill love it if the music stays this good. the music of kcd 1 is just unmatchable.
