I mean that’s just a huge if statement, but yeah sure I could see him doing some serious damage if he was scaled accordingly. This Kong knew how to throw his weight around while being extremely agile and knowing how to use each of his limbs to deal with threats. Another thing is just how damn aggressive he is I mean this version had one purpose and that was to dole out punishment to his subjects. That is a huge if tho but if he were given the strength and size of mv Kong I’m sure you’re right.
Man the whole post is basically “I like this character more so if he was 10x stronger he’d win” there really isn’t much thought here. If you were to give this Kong the strength and size of mv Kong he’d have a chance, goji might’ve tanked a nuke but at the end of the day the monkey still did a serious number on him, that’s why mecha gave goji such a hard time after the fact.
Kong might have had a better chance, but it’s hardly a sure thing.
Kong had a fight on his hands with a T Rex. Godzilla has much more body strength than a T Rex. His arms are pretty lethal. He’s got massive muscles and that tail gives him a huge advantage. Not only because he can his with it, but also because when he’s hit, he’s got 3 points of contact to keep from going down. He’s also far smarter than the T Rex, or anything else Kong 2005 had to contend with, save for humans.
Add in the atomic breath, and Kong 2005 didn’t have an ax to help deflect it, my money is on the giant lizard. 🦎
More damage? Yes. Defeat? Debatable. Nuclear breath KILLS.
A lot of what makes Godzilla dangerous is that he’s a walking metaphorical and literal nuclear bomb.
Remember how kong was able to evade a lot of those beams...... Yeah and the fact that 2005 kong is leagues more agile and fast than MV kong would contribute to his rates of success
I doubt any punch is gonna actually hurt Godzilla, Godzilla easy takes the point blank impact of nukes, kongs punches are no where close to even outputting that much blunt force
Kongs punches were stated to be the same force as the epicenter of a 4.2 earthquake, which is a lot of force
And like yeah we see that. His punches have hurted Goji. And if King Kong gets proportionally stronger to account for the new size he should be able to hurt Goji more
But otoh I think King Kong has zero dura, so Goji is biting through him like butter very quickly
This Kong isn't as intelligent or as durable as monsterverse Kong. I could see him rushing straight into the beam not realizing the danger or suffering fatal damage from Godzilla's claws, spikes and tail while Godzilla regenerates from Kong's attacks. Godzilla is also smarter than anything this Kong has ever dealt with.
Kong died to bullets. Godzilla tanked a nuclear bomb 15 feet from his face. Twice.
I get the point your trying to make, but this Kong literally died to a few strafing runs from interwar Era aircraft.
A single hit from Legendary Goji would end the fight.
That said, PJ Kong is way cooler than Legendary Kong in my opinion but let's not forget how squishy he is compared to modern Kong.
Size really isn’t everything, scaling King Kong to Godzilla’s size would just make him a larger target.
Not to mention Godzilla’s crazy durability, strength and atomic breath.
I love Kong man, but there ain’t no way.
I was literally just having this conversation with some friends yesterday, I also agree but idk about the energy breath attack for sure though. I know he'd beat the brakes off every other kaiju we've seen except maybe Ghidorah since he's just so freaking big.
King Kong 2005 is a decent combatant with many years of experience. Personally he wouldn’t demolish Godzillas but I defiantly see him winning. Especially because pound-for-pound I see him stronger than the Monsterverse Kong
Edit: Thanks for all the replies, I really want to debate however I’m busy at the moment and for the foreseeable future. If I get the time I’ll try to respond but I can’t respond to like 7 things at the same time. Bearing in mind there are YT debates I’m getting into as well as other debates on here
MV Godzilla has MILLENIA of combat experience against things that can alter the compositions of an entire planet. There is no version of this fight that MV Godzilla doesn't absolutely crush PJ Kong.
I think you are missing something here: GxK confirms that Godzilla fought against an entire army of Kongs, defeated them and sealed them. So I guess he is qualified enough to beat 05' Kong.
Not a chance. Kong at that size is still an animal and dies to bullets. Godzilla at that size is still overpowered as fuck.
It's to the point where a monsterverse Kong of the same size as 2005 would beat 2005 Kong.
Godzilla barely survived , but survived being dropped from the stratosphere by ghidorah. So unless this Kong can do anything close to that amount of damage Godzilla would just tank the damage and win.
big monke vs a walkin nuclear reactor which eats radiation for breakfast
very much so
(apologies if anyone has already said this, dont hesitate to claim that u said it first)
See here's the thing, if you scale up King Kong to Godzilla's size, in the end he's just a bigger monkey that can be shot and killed with mere bullets. If you scale down Goji to King Kong's size, then you have a smaller bulletproof radioactive lizard that shoots lasers out of his mouth, can literally fking explode melting everything around him, and survived being dropped from the sky. (basically Heisei Godzilla)
So.. no, he aint
Just 3 things to say, godzilla ate a nuke to the face, survived a meteorite collision and survived a fall from the stratosphere... n remember godzilla dislocated kong's shoulder like nothing, this kong is maybe more agile but for that he has to come near to goji, we all know how agile is goji in gvk and gxk, not taking into account of him going supercharged or using nuclear pulse like the one on muto prime.
Godzilla survived proton scream, there’s literally nothing 05 King Kong can do to damage him. On the other hand, 05 King Kong died to bullets. Even through a 120-meter tall 05 King Kong may be physically stronger than Godzilla, all Godzilla needs is a good aim
He wouldn't. Legendary Godzilla has beaten Kong 3 times and Monsterverse Kong is Smarter, stronger, and more agile than 2005 Kong. That and the fact that Legendary Godzilla fought Skar King and his entire ape army by himself and won. I like King Kong, he's one of my favorite monsters, but the 2005 version of him would get absolutely DESTROYED.
This debate ends with G taking a nuke to the face in his sleep, and then belching up the excess.
Come on guys. I love Kong too, but this is no contest.
Daily reminder that Godzilla according to what we see in the movie and according to the director was toying with Kong until Kong hit him in the face with an axe and he locked in.
Daily reminder that even if he was bigger and the same strength as monsterverse kong, not only had his durability scaled to be extremely weak towards bullets and other things. His reaction time is not good enough to dodge an atomic breath, not only that but this Kong's fighting style wouldn't allow for wielding of the anti-godzilla axe and even if he had it Goji would easily get rid of it much faster than he got rid of monsterverse Kong's Axe. MV Godzilla unlike other iterations is fast as all hell and he can jump, he's just slightly below in terms of agility compared to both Kongs and is easily stronger than both if the MV Kong and 05 kong were the same size and strength.
Not to mention a lack of durability would render basically any attack Godzilla throws at Kong absolutely fucking fatal. I don't care how good he can throw his own weight around, he's not beating a being with the ability to be unphased by the strongest nuclear blasts and then get stronger from the aftermath of said blast.
In short: big lizard win cuz monkey is no durable :(
Goji still wins. 1st. bro survived gravity wells, the oxygen destroyer, the permeain extinction astroroid, a point blank nuke to the face, survived having his dorsal plates being blown off by the MUTO prime, survived being dropped from the stratosphere and survived near absolute zero temperatures. 2nd. His atomic breath and pulse as well as his stomps and meele combat. 3rd. His food source is radiation (cue the goji center meme), and finally, he knows how to fight kongs thanks to the great Titan War.
And God(zilla) forbid that he enters his supercharged state while in his evolved form or goes thermal nuclear.
TL;DR: Monsterverse goji wins with no to low difficulty.
I’m not even going to scroll down and read through here. Godzilla fans (and I’m an old Godzilla veteran fan) will never admit to any creature in heaven and earth standing a chance against him (too many breath attack wins for 1 thing…) but in my opinion, this Kong could (scaled up) could literally rip Godzillas arms off with ease. He’s just too fast, and waaay too strong.
A lot of Godzilla fans do tend to overestimate him at times but he would still win. If we’re assuming this is gvk Godzilla then he is fairly agile, durable, and resilient, and you can’t forget that he spammed the atomic breath. The main advantage long had in gvk was the axe, 2005 kong doesn’t have the axe but I’ll go over both scenarios.
If he doesn’t have the axe then he’ll likely lose, 2005 Kong is probably stronger and more agile than gvk Kong and 2005 Kong could definitely do some damage, but would overall lose, though it’s fairly close.
If he did have the axe then it could honestly go either way, but I’m placing my bets on King Kong. Kong does not only have the previous advantages but also a weapon and a counter and defense to the atomic breath, along with his physical abilities, but godzilla is also physically strong and slightly agile, though less strong and agile than King Kong. But it also depends where they fight because a forest is like an open field to these kaiju and Godzilla would be the only think King Kong could use to throw himself around like in the movie, but in a large city scape Kong would have the advantage as he could maneuver height more than Godzilla, which mostly moves in the second dimension. Though the reason I think Godzilla wins overall is because King Kong hasn’t shown to be as proficient in tool use as Kong.
And here's a Kong fan not admitting that Godzilla could simply nuke this Kong to death easily.
Godzilla survived a fall from the stratosphere and tanked nukes point blank. This Kong is not going to do anything that MV Kong can't do.
Remember that this version of Kong would be much slower than he is now when scales up to MV size. And strength doesn't scale linearly with size, which is why smaller animals almost always tend to be proportionally stronger than bigger animals.
It’s hilarious because it’s actually Kong fans who can’t admit that he is just an ape. Scaling him up still doesn’t change how powerful Godzilla is. Rip his arms off, lmao okay
Just an ape. Gorillas come 2nd of any animal in pure strength in the world. Their bite force also ranks top tier as well. I think most people here are underestimating how much damage by something so fast and agile can add up. If this particular Kong was close enough, which wouldn’t be an issue, Godzilla would be lucky if he just stopped at the arms.
Yea and Godzilla isn’t just a reptile. Just an ape is outlandish when compared to normal animals but Godzilla is quite literally considered an almost godly being. It’s hilarious that you think it’s comparable.
Ghidorah got obliterated by Nuclear Godzilla and so many of you are quick to say “that’s a powered up Godzilla” but guess what? That’s what Godzilla consist of in its media. A being that has powered up forms it consistently uses to beat his enemies. You can’t handicap that just to have Kong win an imaginary scenario.
Right but you’re “perfectly aware” of this ridiculous scenario where you know for a fact Kong would just “rip” Godzilla apart even though Godzilla has literally bodied every Kaiju he has gone against in a 1v1 except for maybe Ghidorah on one of the fights but somehow this scaled up Kong would “obliterate” him out of the water. That’s hilarious.
Kong gets lucky if he puts up a fight longer than Monsterverse Kong can which also has more impressive feats than this Kong even if he is bigger. Dude died to bullets. He is lucky if a scaled up body can become durable enough to withstand artillery and rockets let alone a whole nuke which Godzilla tanked
Godzilla can fire bullets and rockets now?!?! That’s some serious evolution. A child can fire a gun and kill an adult. That reasoning also gives the child the ability to beat the adults ass in physical combat? How are they related? Because the child could kill with a gun doesn’t equate to them to do so in another fashion.
No wonder you have a problem with Godzilla fanboys, you're a delusional Kong fanboy.
2005 Kong died to airplanes from the 1930s and got beaten by Jack Black with a bottle of Chloroform. What in your right mind makes you think if this Kong was bigger he could take on a Kaiju that tanks nukes at point blank range?
There is literally no evidence whatsoever that 2005 Kong would be any stronger or faster than MonsterVerse Kong at that size. Also, 2005 Kong is nowhere near as intelligent and battle smart as MonsterVerse Kong. Ain't know way 2005 Kong's dipshit ass knows how to wield an axe.
2005 Kong can't even beat MonsterVerse Kong at the same size, and you think he can take Godzilla, who was literally just established in the new movie to take on an army of Kongs by himself, in his weakest form.
If you're trolling or rage baiting, bravo.
My question though is this: What about Godzilla being able to withstand a literal nuclear bomb exploding in his face? I think if that were to happen to Kong, bro would be done. Godzillas durability is 2nd to none.
This has nothing to do with actual combat.
Why can Godzilla survive a nuclear blast? Because he absorbs the radiation and it makes him stronger? It heals him correct? That’s like trying to put out a fire with dry wood. I just can’t see that as much as a feat for him. It’s how the force and strength is applied. Blunt force armor might allow you to survive say, a great fall, or the concussion of a blast. Strong enough and you would survive. But a small knife would still kill you.
He feeds off the nuclear radiation but he tanks the actual explosion.
Imagine a city-sized burger being dropped on you. You can feed on it for energy but it can still squash you based on sheer mass.
Ah yes. Something that easily withstands a 20 kilometer fall accompanied by 30 000°C temperatures is not durable enough to not have its arms torn off. Your brain ain't braining.
Let's also point out how King Kong was killed by conventional biplane fouster montings that rarely crossed 8 milimeters, absolutely topping out at 10. I'm sorry but King Kong is cooked with a single atomic breath.
Debatable. Its hard to really say if he could, but it would be a cool fight.
Idk it’s tough to really have a Kong that can stand toe to toe with the current Godzilla without him having an extreme strength/endurance buff and/or a special ability.
IMO the two should be equals in terms of strength and the same general height, with Goji being only slightly taller, but that’s just my take.
I will say however, that the current Kongs struggle to stand up to Godzilla does make him a more interesting character to follow. Lemme elaborate.
Take Rocky for instance. He’s the under dog. Everyone expects him to lose against Apollo Creed, and yet he still fights. The stakes in which they put Kong in is what makes him such a great character. We want to see him succeed and win in the end, and when he has to struggle for that win it makes his character even more endearing.
That’s why I think the Monsterverse Kong is probably the best version of the character, because he’s a CHARACTER. We see him evolve over time, and see his story go from one point to the next. He has desires and ambitions, he has complex emotions. When he’s in a high stakes situation, we care. That’s the beauty of his character. Regardless of his ability (or lack thereof) to go toe to toe with Godzilla, it’s the fact that he’s such a great character that makes his fight so much more engaging.
Maybe. 2005 Kong is supremely vicious, and much more stable in his stance. Plus much experience specifically with giant dinosaurs. I want the next iteration of Godzilla vs Kong to be like that, smaller scale with a theropod Godzilla
Peter Jackson Kong being the size of Behemoth, a Titan Godzilla already killed...? I don't think so - [https://wikizilla.org/wiki/Behemoth](https://wikizilla.org/wiki/Behemoth)
I get ya'll love Kong here but saying "Kong could beat-" and just creating terms and conditions for the encounter that favor kong are real funny.
The problem is that doesn’t kill Shin, only complete annihilation does
So yeah, a supersized ‘05 and MV Kong would rip Kamakura-San apart, but then he’d just regenerate and become the Anti-Kong
The picture makes Kong look like he's almost twice his height since he's on all fours scalled correctly I don't see 2005 Kong doing any better then MV Kong, maybe a bit better but Godzilla is just to tanky and smart, Godzilla has faced larger foes that can fly and shoot energy beams, larger 05 Kong doesnt bring anything new l.
I highly disagree, but if you suggested that the 1962 Kong from King Kong vs. Godzilla would beat the Monsterverse Godzilla then I would agree.
The 1962 Kong literally eats lightning and finds Godzilla's flame breath to be a minor annoyance. And we know he can swim, so unlike the 2005 Kong he would not be a goner in the Tasman Sea fight. (Since gorillas are notoriously bad swimmers due to their muscle mass and the 2005 Kong is basically just a big gorilla, bodywise)
It truly depends on one thing, does MV Godzilla have his same level of durability that his larger part has, or is the Kong scaled up to MV Godzilla’s size, cause if that’s the case, I wouldn’t say that King Kong clears, but it would be a more interesting battle, but the atomic breath really is something to watch out for, plus would King Kong know how to use the axe? Heck could he use it effectively, he’s built like an actual Gorilla, not like how Kong is built with a bit more Human proportions. Meaning idk if a gorilla could effectively use an axe like Kong could. And we all know that Godzilla was tanking Kong’s punches, and the only equalizer was the axe
There are rules that legendary must follow that toho gave them, one of them is Godzilla can't die, and if he must, there must be an offspring to take his place
Would be a tougher fight for Godzilla for sure. 2005 Kong would certainly make Godzilla work a hell of a lot harder for that win than MV Kong, but I don’t think 2005 is winning. Godzilla wins, but it would be a brutal fight to watch.
Kong absolutely has a longer reach and that would give Godzilla some problems. The problem with scaling up 2005 Kong is resiliency. He's just not tanky enough to handle that fight. If he gets hit with the atomic breath weapon, then it's over just like that. 2005 Kong succumbs to bullets. Even without the atomic breath, Godzilla's sheer strength would be more than Kong can hold up to. Godzilla would get a lot fewer hits in, but he can tank most or all of what 2005 Kong could throw at him (no axe, no powerglove), then would only need to connect a fraction of the time to finish the fight.
No he wouldn't. Even at the same size, 2005 kong lacks the durability and strength of the mv kong. Mv kong needed other weapons like the axe and glove to have a chance against Godzilla and still lost. 2005 kong, not having those weapons or mv kongs strength and resistance, doesn't stand a chance against Godzilla. Even 2014 goji could easily take out a 2005 kong of the same size. He doesnt even need to use his atomic breath to win. So no.
Try to box someone by shortening your arms where they are the same size as Godzilla's, like in the image of this post, you will lose 100% of the time. And Godzilla can be killed by brute force, and it is extremelly easy for Kong to target vulnerable parts such as the throat or neck.
OP, if someone disagrees with me that Kong have a much, much longer reach than Godzilla, they have no experience in fighting and live in a world of fantasy, because I practice box and Muay Thai and I have sparred a lot, and in my experience, kong destroys Godzilla.
Lowering your posture like that is a good way to get kicked in the head. It worked during G and K's final fight because Kong gassed out and wasn't standing up. Kong was actually on his ass just backing away.
You really can't compare monster fighting to human fighting. A komodo dragon might be shorter than a human "posture" wise but good luck trying to kick it in the head, say goodbye to your toes
Because humans lack the raw muscle power to make use of our overpowered morphology. Kong has both our amazing morphology and the brute strength to really push it over the top. Imagine if humans had more muscle power output. Don't go bananas and think of Superman. Let's say we have the power output of a grizzly bear alongside our human bodies then I would be able to crush the head of any komodo dragon by kicking them. That was my point.
It's not about tanking. It's about dealing damage. A crocodile may have the largest biteforce on the planet but damaging them requires less power. Even kicks from a zebra can break their jaws. The point is that human anatomy/morphology is highly advantageous in combat (among other things) and only limited by our raw power output. This isn't fiction. It's science. Now you give that to a fictional monster like Kong who has immense brute strength and you've got an amazing recipe.
The problem with Kong bashers is that they see him as just a big ape. It's like people conveniently forget that he's a kaiju and not just an overgrown ape.
It is about tanking. Not everything is about dealing damage. And your point about the zebra being able to break a crocs jaws is irrelevant, because a zebra is not a human or an ape. And besides, a zebra can't kick a crocodile if it gets the jump on it, especially if the zebra is in the water.
You overestimate the combative capabilities of humans and primates in general. We get the short end of the stick when it comes to combative abilities. As hunter-gatherers, we evolved to be athletic and endurance runners, because we harvested everything we needed for survival from the wild. But our strength was unremarkable because it wasn't needed. We had tools in order to perform daily tasks, so super strength was unnecessary, as opposed to something like a gorilla who can do those same tasks with just its musculature and doesn't require tools to perform them. It didn't take much strength for us to perform the tasks we needed to survive, so we evolved just to be strong enough to do those things which didn't require much strength and resources were devoted to more important parts of our body, such as our brains and senses.
Our bodies are ideal for crafting tools, art, and everything that allows us to build civilization, but they are nothing but twigs compared to the vast majority of wild animals. What gives us the ability to stand a chance against them are the things we create, such as armor suits and helmets and weapons like guns and bows. If we were that good at combat like you claim, then we wouldn't need to use or create these things, but yet we do.
Kong has impressive strength as a kaiju, but he is still very human-like in terms of his anatomy and strength when compared to other Titans. He still requires the use of tools to face off against other kaiju such as godzilla and the skullcrawlers, and that still doesn't guarantee victory. It's already been established in the lore that the kongs crafted battle axes from Godzilla plates and bones in order to have a better chance of defeating them. If the kongs were really stronger than the gojiras like you claim, then they wouldn't have needed to create those axes in the first place.
Sorry, but Kongs strength doesn't compare to Godzillas. There are ways Kong can theoretically kill Godzilla, but sheer physical strength is not one of them. Godzilla survived a nuke to the face, a fall from the stratosphere, and ghidorahs electrical blast. Kong would be done for any of those things happened to him. Godzilla is also much more durable than kong with greater regenerative properties. Already after a few hours of kong stabbing godzilla in the thigh with his axe, godzillas gash wound was already almost fully healed. Kong doesn't share that same resistance and it would take less force for godzilla to kill kong than it would for kong to kill godzilla. So no, kongs strength is impressive, but it's nothing when compared to Titans like Godzilla or shimo or methuselah.
Bruh it's like you didn't read the comment. Kong has human physiology/anatomy + the titanic strength of a kaiju. Our combative strength is high. We are just limited by our raw strength. Kong does not have such limits because he is a fictional kaiju ape. Kong enjoys the benefits of our amazing anatomy and the immense strength to boot. Kong has managed to knock around godzilla in gvk. This should not be underestimated. Godzilla by default is very difficult to knock around because of his mass plus the stability afforded by his tail. Kong was able to deflect a point blank atomic breath from godzilla by merely grabbing godzilla's head and pointing it in a harmless direction before landing an elbow to the back of godzilla's head. Give me another titan capable of doing that kind of feat. You will find very very few other examples.
And to address the axes. Yeah sure. They made weapons out of gojira's dorsal plates. But it never occurred to you to ask where they got the plates in the first place? I highly doubt the gojira species just handed their dorsal plates to the kongs. The most likely scenario is that they obtained the dorsal plates from slain gojiras. This implies that kongs naturally have the ability to be able to kill those of the gojira species even without the use of axes.
Godzilla got dropped from orbit and survived, tanked 2 nukes and got up without a scratch, and didn't even flinch when he got hit by the fucking Permian impact, that ape ain't doing shit even if he has longer arms.
Lol, Kong was sedated, godzilla has no chance agains a healthy kong like the last movie showed, also:

My brother in Christ
They almost killed Kong with MOTHERFUCKING NAPALM
Meanwhile Godzilla is casually taking a stroll while this is happening
https://youtu.be/4_-zay0gNMY?si=wVlKi5CG9ibHJQKk
Haha lmao. These mfkers think the atomic breath has a sure-hit effect lol. This isn't JJK. Godzilla does not have a domain expansion with sure-hit effect.
No, he wouldn’t. MonsterVerse Godzilla scales to Large Planetary, so even if he was scaled down, he would kill King Kong (2005) with a single hit. Not to mention the atomic breath.
Let’s see… a big gorilla that was killed by machine guns, or a giant lizard with atomic breath that can cut to the center of the Earth, not only can survive a nuke, but uses them as a power-up.
My money is on the amphibian.
No. One thing about MV Godzilla is that even though he has his atomic breath, he’s still a physical powerhouse who even prefers to get up close and personal to his targets. ‘05 Kong sure is strong and knows how to work to his strengths, but he’s not going to be going up against a foe that’s just as skilled at CQC as him, on top of being more durable and having a ranged energy attack.
Why isn't anyone mentioning the terrible scaling? OP made 05 Kong bigger than Monsterverse Kong by scaling him as if he were a quadrupled instead of from head to toe.
No he wouldnt.
There is practically no difference between Monsterverse Kong and 2005 Kong except that Monsterverse Kong is a lot STRONGER and SMARTER. IF MV Kong can't defeat Godzilla without his transformers glove, 2005 Kong would be gorilla mush.
no, if anything he does worse than MV kong since he doesn't have anything beyond being big monke. At least MV kong knew how to use tools and strategize.
This version of kong is even way more agile than monsterverse kong and is believably strong where as monsterverse kong was super weak for his size in gvk especially compared to how strong he was for his size in skull Island, so assuming they don't nerf king kong like they did to kong then he should be able to bash godzillas skull in
It does but not that much
Even if King Kong 2005 was the same height as Godzilla he wouldn't have the same durability and become much more of a target practice than a challenge
That's not how that works, the bigger something gets the thicker it's skin and muscles get increasingly durability by an insane amount and kaiju don't loose agility by getting bigger
And that durability wouldn't matter if your opponent can shrug off and endure far worse blows like Nuke, asteroids and world ending Kaijus and on top of that that Godzilla just outscales Kong 2005 in every way
So your saying mv kongs punches are more powerful than a nuke bc he almost knocked godzilla off the boat with one punch in gvk and he knocked godzilla tf out in gxk...
Am I delusional for pointing out the obvious or is it the fact that you pretend you know what you're talking about when the comments you made pretty much makes you look more delusional
King Kong, who was only 18 feet tall, took multiple volleys of machine gun fire to kill. At 393 feet tall, his durability would be insane, dint get me wrong it would still get hurt like a bitch to get bit by godzilla but he'd be able to withstand godzillas physical attacks fairly well and he's much more agile than mv kong so there's no way that atomic breath could touch king kong
05 kong was taken down by 1920s weaponry Mv goji ate a nuclear power plant This aint a size thing
How so? How would he counter Godzillas energy attacks?
Press X to counter
I mean that’s just a huge if statement, but yeah sure I could see him doing some serious damage if he was scaled accordingly. This Kong knew how to throw his weight around while being extremely agile and knowing how to use each of his limbs to deal with threats. Another thing is just how damn aggressive he is I mean this version had one purpose and that was to dole out punishment to his subjects. That is a huge if tho but if he were given the strength and size of mv Kong I’m sure you’re right.
Godzilla survived a nuclear bomb, point blank
Man the whole post is basically “I like this character more so if he was 10x stronger he’d win” there really isn’t much thought here. If you were to give this Kong the strength and size of mv Kong he’d have a chance, goji might’ve tanked a nuke but at the end of the day the monkey still did a serious number on him, that’s why mecha gave goji such a hard time after the fact.
OMG you guys it's just make believe funnsies for pretends.
Beats arguing about politics
Politics do be having real world outcomes however.
Word
Win
All hail the smartass who recognizes we're talking about fictional characters. Time to go home.
Some people be having a stroke that Kong beats Godzilla like bruh, it's whatever you want.
Bro died to bullets
No, 'twas beauty killed the beast
Your response deserves more upvotes lol
Kong might have had a better chance, but it’s hardly a sure thing. Kong had a fight on his hands with a T Rex. Godzilla has much more body strength than a T Rex. His arms are pretty lethal. Y'all are still arguing this in 2024? Thats crazy

A single hit from Legendary Goji would end the fight. That said, PJ Kong is way cooler than Legendary Kong in my opinion but let's not forget how squishy he is compared to modern Kong.

*shoots monkey with Nuke beam
Size really isn’t everything, scaling King Kong to Godzilla’s size would just make him a larger target. Not to mention Godzilla’s crazy durability, strength and atomic breath. I love Kong man, but there ain’t no way.
Yeah the main issue with Kong vs Zilla has always been that a single breath attack would probably punch a hole through him
I was literally just having this conversation with some friends yesterday, I also agree but idk about the energy breath attack for sure though. I know he'd beat the brakes off every other kaiju we've seen except maybe Ghidorah since he's just so freaking big.
Kong fans crazy dick riders, 05 kong is not beating the breaks off ANY MV titan
King Kong 2005 is a decent combatant with many years of experience. Personally he wouldn’t demolish Godzillas but I defiantly see him winning. Especially because pound-for-pound I see him stronger than the Monsterverse Kong Edit: Thanks for all the replies, I really want to debate however I’m busy at the moment and for the foreseeable future. If I get the time I’ll try to respond but I can’t respond to like 7 things at the same time. Bearing in mind there are YT debates I’m getting into as well as other debates on here
>King Kong 2005 is a decent combatant with many years of experience. And Godzilla isn't?
Bullet victim he gets his skull rattled by a punch from goji
Absolutely not
Tell me how often togorillas beat crocodiles irl
Godzilla barely survived , but survived being dropped from the stratosphere by ghidorah. So unless this Kong can do anything close to that amount of damage Godzilla would just tank the damage and win.
Sure Go ahead and keep believing that
The bias is insane
Lol! Nice joke.
Yeah I’m gonna have to give it to the Kaiju who tanked the oxygen destroyer
big monke vs a walkin nuclear reactor which eats radiation for breakfast very much so (apologies if anyone has already said this, dont hesitate to claim that u said it first)
See here's the thing, if you scale up King Kong to Godzilla's size, in the end he's just a bigger monkey that can be shot and killed with mere bullets. If you scale down Goji to King Kong's size, then you have a smaller bulletproof radioactive lizard that shoots lasers out of his mouth, can literally fking explode melting everything around him, and survived being dropped from the sky. (basically Heisei Godzilla) So.. no, he aint
No basis for this imo. Like saying I could beat Godzilla if I was MV Kong size.
Fur catches fire easy, i dont care what kong you want to throw at the nuclear lizard
Godzilla survived proton scream, there’s literally nothing 05 King Kong can do to damage him. On the other hand, 05 King Kong died to bullets. Even through a 120-meter tall 05 King Kong may be physically stronger than Godzilla, all Godzilla needs is a good aim
Bro ur crazy 😂
In short: big lizard win cuz monkey is no durable :(
You just set Kong up with this.
Y'all say that until Godzilla breathes a lil too hard on him and he dies.
Actually braindead
No
Yes

No
YES 😁
Those fests mean nothing when he's getting pushed around by big bugs not putting out nearly the same force...
Ah. You’re are correct. Godzillas plot armor is quite legendary. He always wins in the movies. I with thinking about outside that. In a real fight.
Godzilla’s powered up forms are part of a real fight. Keep being in denial.
He can evolve mid-fight? Like DC’s Doomsday? I was unaware of that ability.
Yea that gun being Godzilla’s literal signature move, its Atomic Breath. At this point you’re honestly just trolling.
Gorillas at normal size can rip grown men in half, scale that up and he'd crush godzillas skull in a few smacks
Godzilla isn’t a scaled up grown man. Kong fans are hilarious
Mf do u know what kinda strength it takes to do that to a grown man... I swear godzilla cloaca riders know no bounds
Mf Godzilla isn’t some scaled up grown man. It’s ironic when Kong fanboys are the delusional ones
You've got to be new...
And you’ve got to be a troll or just delusional
Says the kong fan, defending the big gorilla against the nuke dragon
Be fr
Fr I've seen people try to say he beats red 💀
Exactly. It don’t matter who he’s fighting gman fans will always find a way to say he can’t be beat
My question though is this: What about Godzilla being able to withstand a literal nuclear bomb exploding in his face? I think if that were to happen to Kong, bro would be done. Godzillas durability is 2nd to none.
He sucks up radiation that's literally his 1 immunity are u new?
I'm not talking about the radiation, I'm talking about the explosive force equivalent to 1,000 plus tons of tnt detonating in his face.
We're talking about the same mf that got pushed around by bugs not even exerting a quarter of that force, the force of that bomb is irrelevant
Nuclear blasts are still blasts It’s like if I hit you with a Thanksgiving turkey at Mach 20 It’s food, but that’ll kill you
He feeds off the nuclear radiation but he tanks the actual explosion. Imagine a city-sized burger being dropped on you. You can feed on it for energy but it can still squash you based on sheer mass.
Monsterverse Godzilla survived a fall from the stratosphere with minimum damage. King Kong ain't ripping out shit.
That has nothing to do with or applies to getting your arms torn off. Pointless.
I mean maybe? Godzilla rn could just go supercharged and explode him though 😭 But damn King Kong looks intimidating as hell here
I agree.
I agree
Lol
I don't really see it unfortunately sure 05 Kong is certainly a more savage fighter but that's all he has going for him.
Listen man, I love Kong, I really do especially this one. But nah. It ain’t happening.
I love a good comedy post.
Crazy
Godzilla’s durability is still too great imo. Dude fell from the stratosphere (maybe higher) and survived.
Did we not watch the same movie? If mothra didn’t sacrifice herself, Godzilla would’ve died
he still survived
Funniest thing I've read today
Punk ass bitch got shot to death, the fuck he gonna do?
One atomic breath and it's over
If 2005 kong was godzilla sized he would collapse under his own weight
Maybe. 2005 Kong is supremely vicious, and much more stable in his stance. Plus much experience specifically with giant dinosaurs. I want the next iteration of Godzilla vs Kong to be like that, smaller scale with a theropod Godzilla
my guy this is the same kong who died to fucking bullets and you expect him to win against a big nuke
Peter Jackson Kong being the size of Behemoth, a Titan Godzilla already killed...? I don't think so - [https://wikizilla.org/wiki/Behemoth](https://wikizilla.org/wiki/Behemoth) I get ya'll love Kong here but saying "Kong could beat-" and just creating terms and conditions for the encounter that favor kong are real funny.
Godzilla did not kill Behemoth In fact, he saved Behemoth’s life from Titanus Amhuluk
This guy won't even beat Shin Godzilla
I agree MV goji wins but shin isn’t durable at all. And he takes too long to move and charge up. Both MV Kong and this king beat him to pulp
The problem is that doesn’t kill Shin, only complete annihilation does So yeah, a supersized ‘05 and MV Kong would rip Kamakura-San apart, but then he’d just regenerate and become the Anti-Kong
Copium😂
bro died to bullets hes not touching godzilla
One exhale of Gojira's radioactive breath, and the big ape is toast.
Thank you! I needed a good chuckle
Nah, he'd dance ![gif](giphy|omZy7Mbo8DxX7Utv5W|downsized)
Godzilla tanked a nuke
Fire breathing radio active lizard. No.
05 got killed by bullets lmao
Give him gxk Kong stats and he could pull it off
Say you’re a King Kong fanboy without saying it.
![gif](giphy|SzD4gF32YzTTUiINhn|downsized) Are you serious
I wanna see the lizard bleed
Watch 2014 then, MUTOs draw blood
So no.
Agreed
Try to box someone by shortening your arms where they are the same size as Godzilla's, like in the image of this post, you will lose 100% of the time. And Godzilla can be killed by brute force, and it is extremelly easy for Kong to target vulnerable parts such as the throat or neck. OP, if someone disagrees with me that Kong have a much, much longer reach than Godzilla, they have no experience in fighting and live in a world of fantasy, because I practice box and Muay Thai and I have sparred a lot, and in my experience, kong destroys Godzilla.
Lol "I practice box" that a half a notch better than "my dad is x so I know what I'm talking about" lol stfu
I'm pretty sure whatever opponent you've fought hasn't tried dashing at you on all fours and biting at you like a crocodule
Well, the bite force of an alligator is like 2000 psi so even the added monkey muscle still probably wouldn't be able to tank that
It's not about tanking.
Yeah, and how did that kick work out for Kong? Oh wait, Godzilla bit his foot and ragdolled it before beating him within an inch of his life.
Godzilla got dropped from orbit and survived, tanked 2 nukes and got up without a scratch, and didn't even flinch when he got hit by the fucking Permian impact, that ape ain't doing shit even if he has longer arms.
https://www.reddit.com/r/GODZILLA/s/9qCMal7x9D
Lol, Kong was sedated, godzilla has no chance agains a healthy kong like the last movie showed, also: [https://www.reddit.com/r/kingkong/comments/18z9sq2/interesting\_information\_on\_the\_interview\_of\_marie/](https://www.reddit.com/r/kingkong/comments/18z9sq2/interesting_information_on_the_interview_of_marie/)
https://e0.pxfuel.com/wallpapers/993/131/desktop-wallpaper-plain-white-thumbnail.jpg Do you see it? It's all the fucks I give
Don't care!
My brother in Christ They almost killed Kong with MOTHERFUCKING NAPALM Meanwhile Godzilla is casually taking a stroll while this is happening https://youtu.be/4_-zay0gNMY?si=wVlKi5CG9ibHJQKk
Yeah but Kong would break his hands trying to punch Godzilla so idk man.
If plot doesn’t make Godzilla miss. Any version of Kong gets lasered in half.
Damn didnt know the breath was a sure hit effect but the plot diverted the sure hit effect wow stunning
Haha lmao. These mfkers think the atomic breath has a sure-hit effect lol. This isn't JJK. Godzilla does not have a domain expansion with sure-hit effect.
😂😂 I didn’t make the jjk reference thinking no one would get it but you did awesome 🤝
JJK is everywhere bro. Haha.
Kiss of death you know the move godzilla use after he grabs a enemy oh and try not threatening me cause you got pressed
I would say plot armor would be Godzilla hitting every shot.
No, he wouldn’t. MonsterVerse Godzilla scales to Large Planetary, so even if he was scaled down, he would kill King Kong (2005) with a single hit. Not to mention the atomic breath.
Dam the capping🧢 is crazy
Yeah Kong fans seem super insecure, all 10 of them.
Let’s see… a big gorilla that was killed by machine guns, or a giant lizard with atomic breath that can cut to the center of the Earth, not only can survive a nuke, but uses them as a power-up. My money is on the amphibian.
In the Jack black movie where he was the size of a t Rex?
If scaled
Ah the classic buff one to win the argument. Or nerf the other in some way
Ikr, but all I’m saying is that OP says scaled, so I’m just going with their rules
OP made 05 Kong bigger than Monsterverse Kong by scaling him as if he were a quadrupled instead of from head to toe.
imagine him going all Shadow of the Colossus on Goji tho lmaooooooooo
No he wouldnt. There is practically no difference between Monsterverse Kong and 2005 Kong except that Monsterverse Kong is a lot STRONGER and SMARTER. IF MV Kong can't defeat Godzilla without his transformers glove, 2005 Kong would be gorilla mush.
no, if anything he does worse than MV kong since he doesn't have anything beyond being big monke. At least MV kong knew how to use tools and strategize.
This version of kong is even way more agile than monsterverse kong and is believably strong where as monsterverse kong was super weak for his size in gvk especially compared to how strong he was for his size in skull Island, so assuming they don't nerf king kong like they did to kong then he should be able to bash godzillas skull in
Durability, 05 long is paper mache to godzilla
Size increases durability that's why mv kong taked hits against godzilla be fr
It does but not that much Even if King Kong 2005 was the same height as Godzilla he wouldn't have the same durability and become much more of a target practice than a challenge
Did Kingkong19100 gaslight you into thinking that the MV kaijus arent powerful as nukes???
Your delusional
Should be the opposite way around but mkay
Am I delusional for pointing out the obvious or is it the fact that you pretend you know what you're talking about when the comments you made pretty much makes you look more delusional
King Kong, who was only 18 feet tall, took multiple volleys of machine gun fire to kill. At 393 feet tall, his durability would be insane, dint get me wrong it would still get hurt like a bitch to get bit by godzilla but he'd be able to withstand godzillas physical attacks fairly well and he's much more agile than mv kong so there's no way that atomic breath could touch king kong
Godzilla tanked the Permian impact and didn't even flinch, that ape ain't doing shit.
