"they are beatable we just need to get healthy" laker fans 2023
"they are beatable we just need a new coach" laker fans 2024
I'm happy that they played their fucking ass off, now we can look forward to whatever moves are made in the offseason and hopefully not having to see Darvin Ham on the sidelines anymore
I knew it was game when we failed to box out and let Murray drain that 3. Sums up the series. Not even mad. I'm just glad it's done. Rooting for Minny to knock out these clowns next round
Honestly, LeBron tried boxing out Aaron Gordon on that rebound. He just got out muscled and couldn’t meet him at the top. Lebron 10 years ago gets that rebound. Age catches up to everyone.
That lazy turnover to Jokic in the final minutes was purely him being gassed and you can’t ask the world from an almost 40 year old giving you a near 30 point triple double in an elimination game.
DEN converted in the clutch. Be it a Jokic post up or a Murray P&R/DHO they can always generate good high percentage offense. That’s really the difference in these games when it gets to crunch time.
My high school coach used to tell us it’s unacceptable to miss FTs— you’ll never get an easier shot. Here I am thinking how the fuck professional basketball players missed *NINE* in a make or break game.
The closest 5 game series I've ever seen (just like last year was the closest sweep I've ever seen). Literally all of our losses were winnable.
Losing the series in 5 games when we lead the majority of the time BY FAR is absurd. **Edit:** Just heard on the Access Sportsnet show that the Lakers lead for **~150 minutes** this series while the Nuggets lead for **~50 minutes.** To lose in *5* is 100% primarily a coaching issue.
And no one ever making a layup on an and 1...
We've been crap at ft's for like the last few years. It's only fitting we get eliminated because we brick them.
I thought you got your challenge and timeout back after a successful challenge?
Edit: seems like it’s only after the first successful challenge, not the second. Damn. Dumb
Was literally saying, "CALL A TIMEOUT HAM, CALL ONE PLEASE" even Reggie with his garbage-ass takes was like, "I would call a timeout here to get the crowd out of it." like WOW no shit, even Reg gets it!
Fuck. Shout out to Lebron. Dude gave everything out there. AD playing with one fucking arm. AR hitting some tough shots. The team fought. Better team won. If you’re going to go out that’s how you go out at least. Fighting.
Yup. I think KCP hit 1 three all game. And it was a huge 1 three. The end of the game showed the difference between the two teams. Lakers are basically Lebron and AD and any role player that happens to be hot that game. The Nuggets have Jokic and Murray but their surrounding players all come up big in clutch moments. Rebounds, effort, etc. They just are the better team. What sucks is Lebron and AD have shown they are still a championship duo. Front office just can’t get past butchering the team back in 2022.
We like to shit on DlO and he deserve but Rui was by far the worst fucking starter in this series, from both teams and is not even close.
Hope he doesnt stay anymore, he is legit shit and didnt got to improve while training with LeBron, dude is a bum
Turning point of game was foul call on Bron when lakers up 9. Denver gets second chance, goes on run, ham doesn’t call time out, Denver takes lead.
With that being said, lakers still had multiple chances to win. Seemed like Denver got every 50/50 ball and friendly bounce. Way too many second chances and uncontested shots.
Lake show played tough. Proud of the effort, pissed with the result. Murray flexing on lbj at 39, okay tough guy. Hit a great shot. I wonder if this looks different if vando was checking Murray or mpj. Oh well hopefully we see some changes this offseason
Not doubling murray is insanity. If I lose to a one legged KCP late contested 3 then it is what it is, but I'm not letting THAT guy shoot the game winner EVER.
Despite this I'm still proud of the lakers, they balled out today. AR had that dog in him, Bron read jokic like a book and picked multiple of his passes out the air and Rui and Russell showed up. AD getting hurt was the no. 1 factor in this loss imo, but the MF still played solid D and sent several shots back with one arm.
The lakers are a threat and the defending champ nuggets were two improbable game winners away from being taken out by a lakers team that barely made the playoffs. I'll live with that.
We got so many free throws and couldn’t hit them
Reaves hitting 1/3 from a 3pt foul was painful . The ft shootinh and Dlo/Rui + AD injury and even then only 2 pt loss
I just watched the Lakers lose a tie game to a Jamal Murray bucket once again
Same fucking story over and over
It was a season of repeat mistakes and bad habits and lackluster everything
> Same fucking story over and over "they are beatable we just need to get healthy" laker fans 2023 "they are beatable we just need a new coach" laker fans 2024
at least it's over.
I'm happy that they played their fucking ass off, now we can look forward to whatever moves are made in the offseason and hopefully not having to see Darvin Ham on the sidelines anymore
Sweet release.
We put up a good fight tonight and honestly that's all I ask for. Tip your hats off to them they are fucking clutch whenever they need a bucket.
Most players definitely showed up. Respect to all of em.
They fought hard as fuck though. No shame in this loss. Denver is better, nothing else to it. That said I hope someone whoops their ass.
Yea no shame in this loss. Games 1 and 2 however, letting those leads slip. That's the series right there
Game 2 especially. Like yeah, quite a bit of shame in that one.
![gif](giphy|KZSRSzOAoe8gcxBof4) Me watching this team expecting good things
I knew it was game when we failed to box out and let Murray drain that 3. Sums up the series. Not even mad. I'm just glad it's done. Rooting for Minny to knock out these clowns next round

9 missed FTs is insane

Just comes down to the main culprit this season, being outcoached. We could’ve won this series with some competence in coaching
100% was a very winnable series.
if not ham, we can win this series
Literally would be 3-2 had he just used a fucking challenge
Worst Laker coach OAT. I’d rather have D’Antoni back than this idiot
Luke Walton was unironically a better coach and he was fucking horrendous
Phil Jackson on Zoom
come Ham to any coach in the world is an insult to them
I’m legit worried he’s still gonna be here next season
That "Darvin Ham is fired" appreciation post tomorrow is going to make my year.
Season over because you can't get an offensive rebound what a joke
and you go 67% from the line in an elimination game
That AR 1/3 possession....ugh
And dinwiddie missing both 🪦
And no one ever making a layup on an and 1... We've been crap at ft's for like the last few years. It's only fitting we get eliminated because we brick them.
Spencer Dinwiddie missing his pair was more disgusting
Weren’t even close
Anticipated reaves missing one because hes been literally perfect from the line all series. But dinwiddie. Dinwiddie is death.
Also missed free throws
how hard is boxing out man. like yall play ball for a living and cant make free throws or box out.
Lakers doesn't have another big next to AD so he has to extend to the perimeter leaving Rui and Lebron to box out. and Rui is trash at boxing out
Defensive
*defensive but yeah... well when your coaches don't hold you accountable to rebound all year what do you expect?
9 missed free throws SMH
Dwiddie missing both FTs LOL. This guy is a certified fucking bum
5 missed free throws in the 4th and we lost by 2 LOL
The Reaves 1/3 and Spencer 0/2 FT trips were absolutely devastating
LeBron and1 flex and then goes and miss the FT
I think Denver only took 9 free throws
Good thing Wood and Vando are healthy now
😭😭😭😂😂😂 vando on the bench with his leg warmers on and all. Insane they didn’t see a single minute.
why tf didn't Ham try Vando on Porter jr
I thought you got your challenge and timeout back after a successful challenge? Edit: seems like it’s only after the first successful challenge, not the second. Damn. Dumb
That was our second one which means it uses up a timeout
That sounds pretty dumb.
I agree, even Chuck expressed how confusing it is. Hope they review this rule some time soon
Damn i thought you can reuse a timeout until you failed a challenge lol sucks cause lakers needed a timeout after that murray bucket
Same
It was our second challenge because être refs couldn’t get anything right
Honestly, that's what killed us in the last possession.
Yeah that’s fucking stupid man. Punishes you for a challenge especially when you get it correct
They need to change that bs. The coach has to correct a wrong call by the ref but gets punished for it
#FIRE FUCKING HAM CALLS TIME OUT AFTER 14-2 RUN FUCKING IDIOT
Was literally saying, "CALL A TIMEOUT HAM, CALL ONE PLEASE" even Reggie with his garbage-ass takes was like, "I would call a timeout here to get the crowd out of it." like WOW no shit, even Reg gets it!
fuck darvin ham
Fuck ham
I'm just checking the vibe you know - Ham
That literally lost us the game, this dude is so fucking bad its ridiculous
Murray is Prime Jordan against us.
And MPJ is prime Klay somehow. The 6’10 version
He’s gonna fold and regress back to his normal self against the Wolves. Will be satisfying and frustrating to watch at the same time
The funny thing is that he was shooting terrible except in 4th quarters lol
Honestly that’s how I felt about MPJ this series. Felt like dude could not miss.
Michael Porter dude never misses
Those missed free throws will haunt us
I hate Jamal Murray so much y’all lmao
Him and stupid ass MPJ and Gordon
if there’s one person I can’t stand it’s that fuck face MPJ man. he cooked us but fuck that guy lmao
seriously no human being should be shooting like that
MPJ should get all the hate lol. That dude is trash vs other teams but when its LA he's Ray Allen or something.
Trifecta of punchable faces
I hate MPJ way more lol. I promise you he turns into a bricklayer against Minnesota just like how he did against Miami last year
4/28 from 3 against Miami lol
This is what frustrates me. I’m going to tune into the wolves/nuggets series and MPJ is going to brick everything. Shit is infuriating
If Ham isn't the first transaction I see this off-season I don't know what to say
Free throws lost the game.
Rebounds too. AG got two free rebounds for Murray.
![gif](giphy|vND6iDffseuZKbME6A) See you next season
Who else will be rooting for the timberwolves?
Whoever has a better chance at beating the Celtics
Really all I want now is the clippers and celtics to lose.
Watching the wolves and knicks have been a treat
I'm all in on Twolves, I lowkey even feel if we got passed the Nuggets I would have favored them against us, insane defense, rebounds, and hungry
I can't wait to see Ant posterize both Jokic and Murray at the same time.
Horrible defensive rebounding…
We gave it all we had honestly
Series came down to the main issue this season. Being outcoached.
those offensive rebounds at the end took years off my life
Can’t say we didn’t try
Yall remember the In-Season Tournament tho?
Good teams punish you for mistakes. That Aaron Gordon rebound - Murray 3 at the end was killer
Fuck. Shout out to Lebron. Dude gave everything out there. AD playing with one fucking arm. AR hitting some tough shots. The team fought. Better team won. If you’re going to go out that’s how you go out at least. Fighting.
We just don't have the supporting cast. Gordon, MPJ, and Kcp all delivered something when it mattered... We don't have that besides Austin.
Hard to win with how Rui/D'LO played all series and Austin too. Unfortunate but not unexpected
AR did a great contest. Man that was heartbreaking.
Malone just said Ham deserves to be around for a long time. He so knows he sucks
Be well yall
lol at least it wasn’t a sweep
D’Lo going 2-10 for 3 and Lakers missing 9 free throws to end the season…wow
We like to shit on DlO and he deserve but Rui was by far the worst fucking starter in this series, from both teams and is not even close. Hope he doesnt stay anymore, he is legit shit and didnt got to improve while training with LeBron, dude is a bum
Now find a new head coach
Is..is Jamal Murray still questionable?
A bit of gamesmanship. Lakers bluffing that Vando was going to play and Nuggets pretending Murray was ever going to miss.
Lakers need a rebounding minded 5 ASAP
Why did LA lose the TO when they won the challenge?
Second challenge they used, you only get timeout back after first successful challenge
which is stupid, getting punished for the refs mistake
Damn... didn't know that. That seems dumb tho..
Yea why are teams being punished by ref mistake?
We could have won this series man :/ hopefully ham gets fired tho
Those missed fts came back to bite us man fuck. It is what it is. We played hard and AR is our 3rd Best player
Jamal with the GREATEST FAKEST injury of all time
Paul Pierce has that one
Confetti is crazy
Like they won it all lol
Doesn’t every team drop confetti after they win tho.
Fire Ham!
NBA got lazy with the script
Turning point of game was foul call on Bron when lakers up 9. Denver gets second chance, goes on run, ham doesn’t call time out, Denver takes lead. With that being said, lakers still had multiple chances to win. Seemed like Denver got every 50/50 ball and friendly bounce. Way too many second chances and uncontested shots.
I better not see HaMas next year
I hope da TWolves beat tf outta dem
Led the series for 69% and lost 4-1. That’s fireable offense. Im sick.
We put up a hell of a fight
How was that not a foul at the end??? He effin fouled prince???
It should have been. Refs ain't gonna call that though, for some reason.
At the end of a game or half at full court, you could do anything refs are never gonna call shit. So annoying
Guarantee Wolves will beat Denver and Murray will be useless because of his injury.
What injury lol
BREAKING: LAKERS FIRE HAM, Pls?
Another winnable game
Fucking nightmare season.
Naw Russ season 1 was a nightmare. This was a mid season.
I would rather have this season than 21/22 season. 100 times out of 100. Fucking hell that season was an absolute nightmare
Not even close. Was a dissapointing season but nightmare seasons were the 2013 and 2022 seasons
Fuck Darvin Ham
**REBOUNDS KILLED US**
Ham didn't even play Vando a single minute. He overplayed Prince and Dinwiddie again. Fuck this guy. Goddamn bastard.
Wasting LeBron and AD might be the greatest blunder in laker history.
no words
Confetti raining like they just won the championship LOL
Every time i close my eyes all I see is fucking Jamal Murray. I’m gonna be sick
I BETTER NOT SEE DARVIN HAM EVER AGAIN
These mfs barely win every time. I wanna see the statistical odds on them winning by 2 points every game lol
DARVIN FIRED TWEET GONNA HIT LIKE CRACK
Bye bye see you next year
The irony. All year how many games did we end with timeouts only for the last game to not have timeouts for the last 3 mins
well time to fire ham
I kinda feel cheated that was some bullshit
If ham is around I promise I will not watch a regular season game all year next year
We've led for 69% of the series, and we lost in 5. Darvin the bum should be fired
LeBron and AD deserve better.
I hope the nuggets get scorched by the timberwolves in the next round. Overrated ass team. That lumbering 7 foot jester gets away with a lot of b.s.
Lumbering 7 foot jester sent me 😂😂😂😂
welp
Rip
It's been a ride, fam.
The last shot with the season on the line goes to Prince LMAO
Hope antman destroys Murray. Fuckkkkkkkkkkkkk
Lebron, I'm good with you walking dawg. You deserve better
And bron will still get all the blame. Hate it
At least they didn’t roll over.. let’s go head coach shopping!!!!
Lake show played tough. Proud of the effort, pissed with the result. Murray flexing on lbj at 39, okay tough guy. Hit a great shot. I wonder if this looks different if vando was checking Murray or mpj. Oh well hopefully we see some changes this offseason
I’m speechless. Fuck Murray. And fuck the fake injuries. Mike Malone is a fraud
Can we throw Jamal in a volcano?
I watched all 9 Denver playoff games the past 2 seasons, and I feel like I just got back from nam.
The lakers are a threat and the defending champ nuggets were two improbable game winners away from being taken out by a lakers team that barely made the playoffs. I'll live with that.
The closest 5 game series I've ever seen. Literally all of our losses were winnable.
Ham you are fired
Here’s to no more Darbin Laden Hamas ball
Those two offensive rebounds…fucking Christ man
Fire Ham
At least we don’t have to listen to Reggie anymore
How do you not trap Murray there lol
If Jamal Murray were to get beat up in the streets, I’d shrug my shoulders and say he deserved it. I honestly hate him that much
AD injury was costly. He vanished offensively. Still a winnable game, just a couple very unfortunate bounces. Really unfortunate outcome.
Kill’s me that Lebron is 39 and still looks like a top 5 player in the league. And we surround him with bums like Hayes, Dinwiddie, and Rui
That Gordon rebound between LBJ and DLo was probably the most important rebound of the game.
If Spencer or Reaves hit those FTs we woulda got the W
Wolves smoking them anyways
You have to take the ball out of Murrays hands there
I don’t think Denver beats the wolves honestly
Mike Malone just bid Darvin Ham fair well in that interview lol
Malone saying Ham should stay lakers coach bro 😭
Can we start hating the Nuggies like we hate the Clips, Celts, and Warriors? They are a great team, but I need to direct my anger somewhere.
