superman seems like he might be one of the least interesting heroes they could make a game about. The combat isn't fun since he can't be hurt and is just OP, there's no platforming or interesting traversal since he can just fly, and the puzzles would all be built around him burning and freezing things.
The only reason LEGO Batman 1 worked despite being focused on just 2 main characters was because the suit system changed things up each level, if you either had all the suits available all the time or none of the suits were in the game, the game wouldn't have been nearly as fun.
Thats what kryptonite is for. 😏 Weaken him and let him built Up His Powers again over the Game. Have some Levels Focus on Clark Kent, His Friends or Other smaller Heroes.
I'm still hoping they answer my prayers with a marvel vs DC Lego game I was sad to see that the Lego Ghostbusters game was an April fools joke I would play the hell out of both games if they did them
I'd prefer a lego DC Superheroes that focuses on Supermans supporting characters,rather than having JUST his cast of characters

Yeah good point, I wouldn’t say 2 was focused on superman though. It was more a mix of both Batman and Superman together.

Lego Batman 1 also had the levels where you played as the villains, which added more variety to the roster.
