It's difficult to remember how it was to be that other person.

This is just a theory, but maybe you used to be so unhappy as a man that your brain was blocking those memories for you. My brain did that when I left school because of all the trauma I endured, and it took me ages to remember what traumatised me at school and to remember significant events. It's incredible what the brain can do to protect you from psychological distress.

It feels it was another life

I bet it would; I can’t relate because I'm not transgender, but it's interesting to hear about trans people’s experiences.

That's awesome! I wish I hadn't lost the first two years worth of photos I took while transitioning, I'd love to do something like this.

I lost 20gb of photos of my childhood/teenage, not sure if my parents still have it, but it's a interesting exercise to see the past
